Rob Smith, Gay Black Conservative Leaves GOP: I Was Betrayed

merica Fest the event attended by prominent conservative supporters and commentators ERS witnessed a group of men chanting offensive remarks directed at gay Iraq war veteran Rob Smith shouting derogatory slurs including the n-word and the fword including phrases like gay sex which apparently supposed to be offensive in response Smith tried to turn their words against them by referencing right-wing white nationalist Nick Fuentes suggesting that Fuentes was inclined towards gay sex this prompted t

he group to escalate their offensive ing taunting Smith with the slurs and later transitioning to chance of America first which in some instances could be received as a slur a few things about this first of all I don't judge anybody I'm just playing I I I judge matis judge people every single day but that said being a gay black Republican is a whole lot I mean imagine subscribing to a base that antagon izes everything about you twice secondly those losers heckling Rob Smith does protest too much

I mean anybody getting that mad cuz somebody alluded to their idol being gay just might be gay I mean if Nick fentz were to shoot his shot half of those brothers would embark on a journey of Discovery though Smith mentioned racial slurs being aimed at him in his post those slurs weren't audable in the video he shared in denouncing the incident Smith revealed that the verbal attacks he faced and his unwavering stance against intimidation asserting that his military background and Iraq made him R

esolute in such situations so h a group full of ultra conservative white men outnumber you 24 to1 if they ever going to let the nword chopper sing it was going to be right then I mean all the combat training in the world not going to help with those odds which is when racists are at their boldest let's go to the video tape okay first we see the setting here at this uh turning point us USA event in Phoenix Arizona I can see a lot of khakis I can see a lot of dirty running shoes this basically loo

ks like uh any event that my prep school would would call um any time from when we were actually in school till now so I know this environment very well got and this is always a precarious position and if you're find yourself in this position I do find the visible cell phone to be a very useful weapon especially if you set it on yourself this is a a solid form of self- protection and if should you find yourself in this kind of environment oh and they're videotaping as well okay all right we got

um and so that is something that he doesn't find to be objectionable so it's it's a weird Flex that is that's a weird Choice enchant I'll be I'll be completely honest yes Nick L gay all right well that that that would be a a very Elementary and and classic middle ofth line uh deflection technique uh they're chanting something at you and you say well your hero would probably engage in something like that and uh it's it's a solid job it's it's a solid job I I can say that we're operating um at at

the height of our powers um although I might say as a gay black Republican you probably want to Garner all of the potential responses and deflections and defenses you kind of want to have all those at your disposal you know what I mean like this is when like you are you are going into battle or at least you should have felt like you were going into battle but you got caught lacking which maybe maybe this should be a lesson for for everybody no he doesn't oh they didn't react well they didn't re

act well to hearing their hero loves gay X that did not go over well which means which means it was it was a solid try now they go with the out andout slurs so if there was if there was any question before what their intent was with the chain of gay sex they made it abundantly clear now that they go to straight slurs and as I mentioned earlier uh the n-word cannot be heard in this video however once you go to the F bombs not exactly giving yourself the benefit of the doubts here gentlemen and an

de some deniability to the powers that be in the Republican party go ahead and shant America first right after slurs I'm I'm sure they love it America first America First America first cuz what does America stand for apparently gay sex and slurs America now following the circulation of the footage numerous fellow conservatives expressed support for Smith activist Scott presler condemned the unacceptable Behavior emphasizing that it doesn't align with the America First Vision others like Christin

a pushaw from Governor Ronda santis failed campaign as well as Charlie Kirk have their disappointment with the incident highlighting the lack of unity and Leadership within the party now lack of unity and Leadership that is that is an interesting way to say we got bigots I mean that was that was way shorter into the point Rob Smith an army veteran decorated with Awards like the Army Commendation Medal and combat infantry badge transitioned into a commentator and podcaster after his service his m

ilitary Journey marked by realization of his sexuality during the don't ask don't tell era led to activism against lgbtq policies in the military or he calls it gay and lesbian he handcuffed himself to the White House fence in protests leading to his arrest alongside other activists eventually witnessing the repeal of don't ass don't tell Smith's contributions and experiences have been chronicled in his book always a soldier service sacrifice and coming out as America's first black gay Republica

n in the words of the late great Paul Mooney he got his NW wakeup call those folks let him know who they really were and what they really think of him and for Smith to be a card carrying gay black Republican he's either really dense extremely oblivious or consciously throwing his own people under the bus to cash in twice whatever the case I'm honestly shocked it hadn't happened to him sooner oh what's that oh we got comment from Smith himself let's go to that so if we're going to talk about the

future of this party and these white supremacists absolutely do exist in this party we all saw me face them from face to face I'm looking at soulless deaded white supremacists that by the way I felt that these people could have bashed my brains in had they gotten the chance I deal with these people in real life and I know for a fact where they're coming from I know that a lot of these people have infiltrated these conservative organizations from top to bottom there needs to be accountability and

I'm exploring options as how to do so right now but do I think that this stuff is coming from the millions of people that voted for Trump I I do not I do not do I think that it's something that the Trump campaign endorses or the Republican Party endorses I do not because I know these people and I have been around these people well brother good luck with that
