@Julia_TradesCrypto

I wish more politicians had the integrity and honesty that Mitt Romney displays in this interview.

@santyasanuma8023

He makes clear sense. America depends on friendship with its allies to be where it is before, today, and tomorrow. WOW! He asks for character as a criteria for elected leaders. I like this guy.

@jn1ty

If you don't believe in helping our friends in the world look at it selfishly and worry about your pocket book. We are a global power and our economy is based on that. If we abandon our friends they might just punish us in the world market. It is possible.

@corinnem.239

I never thought Mitt Romney would be the voice of reason & sanity, but he is totally correct.

@luciditywaling

I can only imagine that our sense of "superiority" and claim that we "lead the world" alienates many in the world. It's always best to lead without claiming to lead.

@fhu868

Thank you Sir. Please keep reminding people of America's global stature and principles. Sad that even citizens are forgetting what our previous generations fought for. I hope more people heed your warning of Trump. I really fear the future of the USA.

@hew195050

Wow! Listening to this man reminds me that people in politics can actually make sense and not demean and demoralize others. What a great role model for our children, whether we agree with him or not! Make American respectful again!

@redpatriotnews

It's great to see engagement and thoughtful consideration in the political process! Discussing choices and preferences openly contributes to a vibrant democratic society. It's important to stay informed and involved, and sharing perspectives like this can encourage others to reflect on their own views and decisions. No matter where anyone stands on the political spectrum, taking part in these conversations is a key aspect of civic participation. Keep up the thoughtful discussions!

@andyl8055

I wasn't a huge fan of him in 2012 vs Obama, but still found him a decent human being. Now that he's on his way out and not needing to seek reelection we can see his true character, and what a President he might have been. What a shame he's not running for it now. You'd have to think he'd be a shoo in against the other two.

@ovedgarcia5960

It's simple dictatorship or freedom

@timsmith3621

Unless I missed something, it was clear Mitt Romney said he wouldn't vote for Donald Trump but I didn't hear him say he would vote for Joe Biden.

@warrenbivins758

Romney gave a master class in geopolitics on how supporting Ukraine affect the United States

@kathypeterman2886

I agree 100% that character is a cornerstone in who gets my vote. Well said!

@gigmaster222

Kaitlin collins looks eerily like jim acosta

@tonid.4156

So refreshing that he answered the "would you vote" question very candidly. All of his discussion points were very reasonable.

@miltonthegreat6520

"Tyrants are often popular. A democracy is one where you have the will of the majority, but through rule of law the rights of the minority are protected. Otherwise it's a tyranny... an autocracy." Malcolm Turnbull, Prime Minister of Australia from 2015 to 2018, talking about former-President Donald Trump.

@Imlurking.

Wow Romney on CNN. I never would have thought that would happen.

@spydude38

In order for the United States to be a leader in the free world, it must also be a leader of freedom within it's own borders. A the current time, we do not have a government that works to defend it's borders, protect it's own citizens. At the same time that government provides hundreds of billions of dollars that it doesn't have to a foreign country to help it defend it's borders from foreign invasion. Also, in response to Mitten's comment about alliances, the U.S. only has an alliance when it's economy is strong. That is because for our history, we've defend others because we had the economic strength to do that. We no longer have bottomless pits of money. This means our approach to global influence must change to reflect that and our "allies" must now step up to fill the gap. They owe the U.S. that much.

It's fascinating to see political discussions and the choices prominent figures like Romney make in the political landscape. Regardless of one's political leanings, it's important to respect diverse perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue. Engaging with different viewpoints can broaden our understanding and encourage a more inclusive society. Remember, every voice matters, and it's through understanding each other that we can foster a better environment for constructive conversation. Keep sharing, discussing, and staying informed!
