in it's been 20 years since members of the 507th maintenance company out of Fort Bliss were ambushed in Iraq 11 soldiers were killed in the attack including nine members of the 507th six were taken as prisoners of War several events took place and it was an emotional start to the day at Fort Bliss nine candles were lit for each of the nine members of the 507th who were killed in that Ambush that was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony and then about 500 members of the 5th Battalion 52nd Air Def
