ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

It was a grave injustice that she did not get picked to go through to the Live performances
Rudi’s performance was jaw dropping beautiful. The amount of control she had throughout this performance was noteworthy. She is such a talent, people take notice, this girl has the IT factor. 🖤
I've noticed usually coaches stand to clap for their own singers. Looks like Gwen did not stand up for Rudi. Reba did.

This is probably the hardest Mariah song to sing because that melody goes all over the place. But she even made it harder by going Spanish. She nailed every key and melodic change and picked the best parts to do Spanish. Still pissed she didn’t go through after this performance
Everyone is just so good this year my gosh. Rudi’s tone is addicting! It’s so smooth and soulful! I love the way she navigates her head voice back into chest. She just seems so seasoned! Also, the camera man ate that up all the angles, specially in the beginning. It helped to really set the atmosphere of the song!
She made it seem easy, but it is not. Not everyone can sing in two languages and do it exquisitely well.
I would totally buy Rudi's version of this song!

What a sobering moment it was when she was eliminated! This episode must have been recorded in a parallel universe where Gwen was having hearing issues. Rudi had the voice to be The Voice! Why Gwen, why?
When I heard this, I got chills. Up till this point, I had picked other favorite performers. This performance changed my mind. I was sure this sealed the choice for the judge as well. I was so disappointed that she wouldn't go any further. I hope this isn't the last we'll see of this talented girl.
I love a natural vibrato Beautiful
singing in English & Spanish, very effective, sets her apart from the crowd. Her tone is even lovelier en Espanol. This felt so good and sounded amazing to my ears.
Her voice is so incredibly beautiful! There is no other sound like it!
