for the October events. It is my favorite time of year. Yep more and more events we're seeing that's
for sure. Yeah October, November, December yep so do you want to kick us off with what we have going on
in Saint Cloud for October of 2023. Sure thing. We have the Harmony Falls fall market on October 1st
from 10 to 2 at the Har
mony Town Square. If you want to be a vendor for that it's $30 dollars
for a booth, you have to bring your own supplies of course and it's a $50 for a double booth. You
can contact Jennifer at Harmonyactivitydirector@gmail.com. Setup is anywhere from 6:30 a.m to 9:45
a.m. That's awesome. I always love those and this time of year it's a good time because like you
won't be dying sweating. It's only October 1st. The second crazy listen a really quick sidebar I got
really excited like couple da
ys ago when I looked at the weather app and like there were no 90s for
highs. I was like oh my gosh I never thought I'd be happy to see 80s but anyway all right and then
so the next thing that we have is on October 3rd. It's the Saint Cloud Police Department presents
the National Night Out. It's a free to attend family-friendly event that will feature
safety presentations, Touch a Truck, a live DJ, games and activities, and food trucks. That's going
to be at the Saint Cloud Lakefront and th
at's October 3rd from 4 to 7 P.M. That's not bad. No and
then October 5th we have a Thrive Thursday and we go back to this healthy cooking demos to perfect
exercise routine. Attend to find out the best path for a healthier and happier you. It is sponsored
by Help Against Hunger East Osceola. These are free classes and they held the first Thursday of
every month. Pre-registration is encouraged so it's October 5th 6:30 P.M to 7:30 p.m at Hopkins
Park. For more information you can reach out to

awesome so next up is the Marina Banquet Hall is having an open house on October 11th from 5 PM
to 7 P.M. It's located at the Marina Banquet Hall. If you're not familiar with that where that
is it's at the Saint Cloud Lakefront. It's above Crabby Bills. You can call 407-957-7243 but it's a
great event space. So if you've never been go check out the open house and see what they have to offer.
Lots of fun. Then we have Harmony night school's ann
ual homecoming parade which is going to be
October 11th. That should be a Wednesday. Isn't usually, it's usually a Wednesday. Yeah okay the
parade will start in front of the community school turn right on Capri and then left on five folks.
So parade will end at Harmony's Town Square. Any local businesses or clubs that would like to

for more information. That's awesome. I always love seeing those it's a lot of fun a lot
of people
throwing candy and yeah exactly. It's like I don't know do you want to participate or do you
want to be part of the you know people watching. So it's really cool parade and it's right before the homecoming game that week as well. So that's a cool one. Then we have the fall day camp at the Saint Cloud Civic Center. This is on Friday, October 13th from 7 A.M to 6 p.m for
those little ones that don't have school that day. It is a teacher work day student holiday currently
so you can
bring kids ages 5 to 12 years old. It's forty dollars per day for non-residents or thirty dollars per day for city residents. You can give a call for more information at 407-957-7243 or there's online registration available at the city of Saint Cloud website. Do you want to be part of this like I said come on in. Then we have Harmony
Halloween movie night which would be fun. It is October 13th at 7 30 p.m featured movies is
Casper and Beetlejuice. To book your VIP picnic text 407-709-0187 to d
iscuss details. So they'll
set up a little picnic area for you which will be lots of fun. The VIP picnics are available
starting at $95 dollars per setup price based on a number in the party. It includes table spooky
table Decor blankets pillows and Halloween movie night snack box. VIP picnics will be set up
in the front row or back row with limited space available. That's really cool. Jennifer
does such a great job with that. She does so I wonder what's in have you ever seen like were they
including it no she I think she just does a custom thing based on your discussion on what you want
like she'll like kind of customize it to to you what you're looking for so um they're always
really cool setups but the Halloween movie night itself is free for everybody yes um you
could always come and sit on the lawn out there it's great so um and then up next we have another
movie in the park it's also um October 13th it's um at the Hopkins Park in St Cloud so if you
don't make it out to
Harmony you've got one um in St Cloud and they're going to be showing
the witches the movie starts at sundown and don't forget to bring something to sit on it's from
7 P.M to 10 p.m at Hopkins Park you can call 407-892-2533 for more information it's another
free event and this one's good there's a fall festival October 14th and 15th from 10 a.m to 4
P.M at the ranch which is located at 5452 Jones Road in Saint Cloud the course per person is only

let me um talk a little bit about the festival come out
enjoy the full festival at the ranch and enjoy fun for the whole family they'll have games vendors
music crafts food trucks rise and so much more that's really cool I haven't been out to
the ranch I hate to say that like that's almost embarrassing that we that it's been
open for what a couple years now [Laughter] um yeah so I was at the ranch for a wedding
before the before it was into the ranch yeah before it was taken over so yeah so
it's been
a minute so anyway that's really cool I might have to go out this year all right and then
we have an adult movie matinee on October 18th from 12 30 P.M to 2 30 p.m they're going
to be showing the age of Adeline it's starring Blake Lively and Harrison Ford it's PG-13 um
the synopsis is that a young woman born at the turn of the 20th century is rendered ageless
after an accident after many solitary years she meets a man who complicates the eternal
life and she has settled into tha
t's going to be October 18th from 12 30 to 2 30 at the

had a seven-year-old arrive and he knows to be quiet but for some reason pounding the floor
with his feet from E7 so he's seven we're almost finished and then we have the Trail of Terror
for 13 years of fear day day one are you ready to face your fears

I've gone to that you have taken the girls do we have videos from that we do yeah so 13 years
if he had the haunted house style event is set Outdoors along Peg Horn Nature Park participants
will walk through 13 scenes created to unleash your worst warning warning this event may be too
scary for younger children that's awesome tickets are available in advance or at the gate October
20th is a date 8 to 11 pm picorn Park um of course attend all of her which I alr
eady said yep and I
think that one runs Fridays and Saturdays starting on the 20th and then the following weekend as well
you know what you know what's confusing to me is when it says Trail of Terror 13 years of fear I
feel like they're saying you have to be 13 year old to go right even though it's been 13 years
right yeah 13 years since they did it yeah that's that's great you probably should be 13 because I
went it was pretty scary [Laughter] yep so that's uh the 20th and the 21st um and
then next up we
have the central Florida business networking group presents the meet and connect networking happy

may do as they wish without having to worry about babysitters the date is October 27th from from 5
to 9 pm and it's at the dance studio which is at 6474 Waypoint Boulevard in Saint Cloud it's forty

child and you don't have a babysitter you probably babysitter forty d
ollars how
much do babysitters get paid these days I don't know sometimes Olivia gets hired and she
gets paid like a hundred dollars for the night and I'm just like that's how about you do
you know how much your babysitter gets paid 20 minutes no 20 an hour I I remember when Rachel
used to babysit him she got paid handsomely as well so I don't know I don't have any real but
that is a great thing you can drop them off in a controlled environment they could be around
friends you know and stu
ff like that something fun like that and it's it seems like it's right
around the Halloween weekend um so parents if you're going out to Halloween parties and stuff
great place to bring your kids that's nice dance studio thank you yes all right and then up next
we have the harmonies Halloween golf cart parade um it's on October 27th from at 7 30 p.m we're
going to start by the Town Square be ready to go by 7 15. um you can email your golf cart entry to

the parade route will be posted the week of it's so much fun
yeah if you aren't in it you can watch it it's so much fun to see good ones they have some really
good ones I'm still trying to I have video of that I think I'm still trying to figure out how I
can mount the 12-foot skeleton onto the golf cart and drive I don't think it's gonna work but that
could be fun what do you think yeah no I probably wouldn't win because that's it yeah they had some
good good friends I know there's some re
ally good people uh you know people that go out and decorate
it so it's a lot of fun to go out and watch like even if you're not from Harmony come on out like
it's a fun thing to watch with the kids um and a lot of times they're throwing out candy and stuff
too oh yeah yeah absolutely um so that's fine and there's always it's always dark by that time
too which is why I'm throwing the candy out yeah um and so there's prizes for first second and
third place so definitely something to check ou
t and then on October 28th we have Trunk or Treat
from 10 a.m to 12 p.m and it's at Hopkins Park so spectacular fun for the family Customs music candy

gonna have the Trail of Terror as well so if you missed it on the first weekend um they do have it
on the second weekend and then on October 29th we h

so it's going to be the normal Market baked goods customized items food trucks DJ more costume
contests Halloween crafts trick-or-treating at each Booth that's October 29th so it's a
Sunday from 10 to 2 p.m vendifi again um if you want to do that it's that's only 25 plus candy

wonder you know so if you're not familiar with the area Harmony is like a
really big place that
people like to come trick-or-treating at right oh yeah I wonder if our Harmony Market's going to
be the same if a lot of people are going to come out and trick or treat and you know we thought
about that so our our office did um Saint Cloud did that with the with the stores you know down on
New York and I mean we have pictures of the kids were just lying down the street right just I think
we had to have if I'm not mistaken like a thousand piece of candy or I believe t
hey told you how much
right right well that's smart that's really good and then hey if you you have leftovers you could
donate it to the people that live in harmony because we have so many trick-or-treaters like I'm
out that that uh you know they'll definitely need that candy but it's gonna be a fun uh you know
month October I can't believe it's here already um but you know hopefully things will start
cooling down and lots of fun events to enjoy so fun well thanks so much for joining us for
