I get it, the S24 Ultra just dropped, and you
wanna soak in that vibe first! Talking about the Galaxy S25 Ultra already seems too soon, right?
But guess what– tech moves fast, and there's some cool stuff happening with the S25 Ultra that
I'd like to share with you. so hear me out. You see when Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8
Gen 3 for the S24 Ultra a few months ago, they also mentioned that starting with the Snapdragon
8 Gen 4 which will end up on the S25 Ultra, they are going to shift t
o the Oryon cores.
What is Oryon core you ask? It's basically a new CPU core but it's a game changer for Qualcomm
and Samsung. You see, back in January 2021, Qualcomm bought a company called Nuvia which
was founded by former Apple engineers renowned for creating Apple M series chips.
Fast forward to October last year, Qualcomm revealed that these cores outshine the
latest Apple M chip in performance while being considerably more energy-efficient. Although
initially introduced in the PC vers
ion, the company also disclosed plans to integrate
Oryon cores into the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Today, we've got a leaked benchmark score to give
you a sneak peek at what this chip can do. First things first, the chip is made using
TSMC's 3nm nodes, and the rumors claim that Qualcomm has made significant strides, with
CPU performance potentially rivaling Apple's M series chips let alone the A series chips.
So, on Geekbench 6, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is about to hit over 2,800 points in the singl
e-core
test and crush 10,000 points in the multi-core test. That's a first for any mobile, getting so
close to, let alone crossing, the 10,000 mark. Let me throw in some context – check out the scores
for the S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It's like a massive performance gap, no kidding.
But wait, there's more! It's pulling off these scores with just 8W of power,
compared to its predecessor's 11W. That's a big jump in power efficiency.
And here's the cherry on top – word is, the Adreno 83
0 GPU inside is supposedly 10% more
powerful than Apple's desktop-grade M2 chip. We all know Apple has been dominating the
chip game for the past decade with its A-series chips. But things have been shaking up
lately. This year, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 caught up in CPU performance with the latest
A-series chip. Now, Oryon might just be the last thing Qualcomm needs to outshine Apple.
Now, check out this crazy rumor making the rounds: word on the street is Samsung is going all-in with
the Exynos chip for the Galaxy S25 lineup. I mean, this tipster claims Samsung's planning to
exclusively use Snapdragon chips for their foldables, go full-on Exynos in the S series, and
mix it up with MediaTek and Exynos in the A series phones. But hold up, before you start losing
your mind, let me drop some truth bombs. I can tell you with absolute certainty, like 100%,
that this ain't gonna happen. Samsung just renewed their deal with Qualcomm, promising to stick with
Snapdragon chips for
the foreseeable future. Plus, it would be downright crazy to ditch Qualcomm when
they're sitting pretty at the top. So, don't fall for this unfounded rumor – it's just noise.
Anyway, Samsung might just make our dreams come true with the Z Fold 6 by dropping an Ultra model.

Your first S25 Ultra video. Keep them coming! As an owner of the S23 Ultra who skipped the S24 Ultra, I'll definitely be looking forward to these.
Samsung should make the Galaxy Tab S10 series have Snapdragon X Elite to compete directly with the M3 iPad Pro in raw performance. They should also make the Galaxy Tab S10 FE have Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy.
I actually like hearing information about the s25u
I knew there was a reason to wait for the 25 ultra. Let's hope for a design change.
Basically you could use Samsung DeX and it would be almost as powerful as a MacBook pro?! If this is true that's pretty revolutionary.
I like it when Sal say hear me out. Trying to convince us like the former best samsung CEO Dj koo
Rumours always start early, thank god Samsung is not just using Exynos for the S25 models,if they did consumers might turn there backs on Samsung
So next year, phones touching 3M in Antutu is actually real 😮 Holy .... I just hope they really take care of the thermals as when they shift a "nm" in processing the 1st gen processors turn out to be really hot
So this would imply that a snapdragon 4 could perform better than a macbook air m2 ? I mean it sounds hard to believe but it would indeed be really good
Hi SAL! I didn't get the s24U this year because something is telling me to wait and see what's going to happen with the s25U. Thanks for the news. 😀
See how the smartphones industries are playing us. It wasn't long that Samsung released the s24 ultra, let alone the S23 ultra last year.
I hope samsung does sometjing new specially to design and camera quality. Been a note user for 7 years and just shifted to iphone 14 pro max last year. I have few complaints in iphone but i love you the smoothness and more premium feel in my opinion Wish to see big improvemnets in samsung then will shift again as i miss the multitasking options.
I hope they fix the colors next year because the 24 series looks dull, especially since phantom blk looks more gray than blk
I'm still rocking my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 512gb with the removable SD card for the win 🏆. I am plannimg on upgrading to the S26 Ultra maybe I'll check out the S25U now 😂
As an Android fan i was just about to buy the latest iPhone to see what all the hype is about but seem like Samsung still have that grip on me... i guess iPhone could wait cause i wanna see what S25 could offer
All the performances great, but what are they going to do with it? Also the s25 is supposed to be fully redesigned right?
Not even 2 months with my S24U n i m thinking of trading it in after watching this video 😂
Hello, do you do any other companies besides Samsung?
I bought the S23 U just 2 months before the S24U launch but the it doesn't really excite me that much but the S25U is the one I'm looking for, hope they will bring some new sensors for ultra wide and the main cam and some refinements for the 5x tele
Great video sal about galaxy s25 series, I'll wait.
