Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - FIRST LOOK

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 first look reveals a new design. The Samsung Z Fold 6 rocks a silhouette that brings back vibes from the S24 Ultra or the OG Galaxy Note. It's like they took the S24 Ultra and stretched it into this almost square look. So overall the biggest change the Samsung Z Fold 6 brings to the table is the new squarish design. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July at the Unpacked event.

So we finally have the first look at the  Galaxy Z Fold 6. Forget everything you thought you knew about the phone because,  turns out, the leaks were way off. What's up guys Sal here so Onleaks just  spilled the beans on the Z Fold 6 renders revealing a totally new design! No imagination,  patent, or concept stuff here – these renders are straight from Samsung's official CAD  schematics sent to case makers in advance. Now, check this out, the first thing that  catches your eye is the shape. The
Z Fold 6 rocks a silhouette that brings back vibes from  the S24 Ultra or the OG Galaxy Note. It's like they took the S24 Ultra and stretched it into  this almost square look. And you know what? I've always been a fan of those boxier phones,  so it's awesome to see the Galaxy Note's design vibe carried over to the Z Fold. Alright, now let's talk about where those leaks missed the mark. First off, the thickness. A  few days back, the word was out that the Z Fold 6 would be Samsung's slimmest fold
able phone  ever. Well, that didn't pan out. The official dimensions reveal that when opened, the phone is  6.1mm thick, exactly like the Z Fold 5. Although Onleaks didn't mention the folded thickness,  but that rumored 11mm thickness? Totally off. It's probably rocking the same thickness as the Z  Fold 5, or maybe just a smidge thinner at best. Next, Ross Young, the CEO of display supply  chain consultants, said a while ago that Samsung was bumping up the display sizes for  both the Z Fold 6 an
d the Z Flip 6. Well, turns out that info was a swing and a miss because the  display sizes, both on the outer and inner parts, are staying put – exactly the same. Then there was this rumor that Samsung had finally made the Z Fold 6 wider. Now this  rumor isn't entirely off the mark. Samsung did make the Z Fold 6 a tad wider, but it's not a  game-changer. To break it down, when unfolded, the Z Fold 6 is 2.6mm wider than the Z Fold  5, translating to just 1.3mm when folded. It's not a massive cha
nge by any means. I bet  most folks wouldn't even notice the difference. The Z Fold 6 seems to be a bit shorter by  a similar, though less dramatic, margin. The rumors however were on point when it comes to  the cameras – they're sticking with the same setup as the Z Fold 5. And oh, quick heads up, there's  no slot for the S Pen on this one either. So overall the biggest change the Z  Fold 6 brings to the table is the new squarish design. Having those square edges  is actually a smart move since
it slightly boosts the screen real estate – those rounded  corners won't be cutting off any UI elements. By the way, Samsung's not just stopping at the Z  Fold 6. They're rolling out a more budget-friendly version, and it's not just a wild rumor. We've  got some solid evidence that it's the real deal, in which case, that device could offer the  expected altered front display aspect ratio. Anyway, Samsung has officially revealed  the Galaxy Ring. Click here to check out its looks and features, a
nd I'll  catch you over there!

Sweet! It's the same phone as it's been for years. Looks like my S22 Ultra lives to fight another year.

@robertwolfgan

The good old Note phones were amazing. This seems like a win for those of us who thought so too.

@Severnex

"I guess i'll wait until z fold 12"

@AaronsDooM

Haven't upgraded because I've been waiting for a decent change. Still rocking the Z Fold 4 and I guess I'm sticking with it.

@T0NYMANUEL

Samsung is really making a mistake by not changing the display wider and making the device thinner. Other companies'foldables are catching up and even making better looking devices devices

@Clippers0507

The exact same phone four years in a row is insane. Still rocking a Fold3, and was waiting for the outer screen to get bigger and spen support. But not happening is BAFFLING. First time thinking about just getting another phone besides Samsung for the first time in like 13 years like the Honor folding phone. Thinner, wider, and pen support on the outside. But no water/dust resistance and I think no wireless charging but that doesn't matter when it charges insanely fast. The only thing is I'm so used to Samsung software and Good Lock is clutch. Plus Support for 7 years is a win. I'm sure the Honor will have support for maybe 3. Damn you, Samsung!

@sdmalpas

What a missed opportunity. So, what exactly is the upgrade....square corners and the SD8G3? What about a titanium frame?

@TheAscendedTechNinja

After the Z Fold 3 Samsung has been pulling Apple updates

@Doni_doni

I love this design... Would love to see a built in s pen 😢

@adriandeb2710

I have the fold 4 but not buying another one until the s pen lives in the body

@BradLR

well, now i don't have to worry about upgrading my fold 5, lol. I hope the fold 7 will have some actual improvements, mainly in the camera.

@usmanabdulkadir3334

Awesome content keep it up as always brother

@Leehyunji312

I love the design but still no s-pen slot😢😢. Maybe i'll stay at my S22 Ultra

@DrGru

Bought F5 a month ago.is it worth it to upgrade to 6 ?...been f5 for mainly for work and gaming, and it doesn't disappoint.

@westleg91

How are they consistently missing the mark by so far.... Had this been mate slightly wider so the outside screen was usable and with an s pen it would of been an absolute game changer. Why not listen to the people who actually purchase their phones.

@TornadoesGaming234YTB

This is why I wait for you since you one of the most accurate ones out there when I saw this first look I noticed it looks almost like Z Fold 5 that's why I wait until OnLeaks shows it what is going to look like

@djsir901

I think being a little wider and shorter will be a drastic change in the aspect ratio. That was the biggest change that the Fold series needed. I don't really care about thinner. These phones are already too thin, and I want a bigger battery & s-pen support. I gotta Fold 4 so I'm 50/50 on upgrading.

@cr4zy4christ

do we know if its goin to have qi2 yet?

@panathatube

I like the distinctive design of the Z Fold with S24 Ultra vibes. Not a fan of the camer bump design or the same old sensors though.

@TT0973

Holding out hope that this is the rumored fan edition and they are going to introduce an Ultra version soon!!
