Editing Journey:
San Andreas is arguably one of Dwayne Johnson’s A.K.A The Rock’s best films. Its also one of his highest grossing solo film. No doubt the studio talked about the potential sequel. After I discovered Baller scene of The Rock standing in front of an e4rthquake I was inspired to make another San Andreas 2 dream trailer. This is the first time I get to use a.i for this trailer series so I was excited because it would help making the trailer more realistic. I begin by showing Rock’s character Ray talking to a man (which I made to be his boss in his job) “Mr. Ray what was it like to experience the San Andreas fault's magnitude 9 e4rthquake, California's largest in recorded in history?” Then Ray says “I took a lost just like everybody else” perfect line to respond to reference the events from the film (clip from Ballers).
Then I showed our main characters relieving the e4rthquake by showing footage from San Andreas film as a flashback. I teased the audience that another e4rthquake is coming to wrap act 1. For act 2 right away I show the characters in action, using clip from San Andreas deleted scene, we get to see Ray and his wife in the car trying to leave California. For the highlight of act 2 I made Dr. Lawrence introduce the idea “The biggest e4rthquake the world has ever seen”. Then I made Ray say “I’m not taking any chances, I’m getting my family out of California before its too late”.
Act 3 I showed John Cena helping Ray. I added him because my dream is to have a movie of John Cena and The Rock together. Making Cena as part of Rock’s rescue team would be natural way to include him. Show flashback for The Rock action scenes (looking in action). For the epic final line I made Ray say “Whatever it takes, we will get out of California”.
