o I think the best tip that we're giving anybody right now is to make sure you get here early 20 30 minutes maybe even before uh you're used to because it's not only busy that traffic that we see on Harvard Drive it's multiplied that right and that's due to that terminal one construction and even Travelers who have been coming to the airport or arriving here in San Diego earlier in the week they say they notice a huge difference as well she's in the military and so we come out here every so ofte
n to see her this airport is crazy busy I wasn't expecting that that many people to be there I mean we had to wait a little bit to get checked in and everything and so the stats bear it out right they are expecting both the San Diego International Airport and TSA for this to be the busiest travel season since 2019 and maybe even going back to 2005. and when it comes to sell excuse me Southern California Travelers we're hearing that San Diego is actually expected to be the number two most travele
d to destination next to Las Vegas and that's due to booking data so uh looks like a lot of people will be traveling out here now as for again what you can do arriving early that still goes ahead and uh checks off some of the lists but uh also make sure that any type of travel that you're doing on the road that you're checking your vehicle before you hit the road make sure that those tires are inflated that the tread is good uh get those uh fluids topped off as well too and make sure that you're
not several thousand miles past that oil change date on that sticker and of course if you have an EV make sure that's charged up too and you've got those uh char charging stations mapped out on your route especially if you're doing a long road trip but look we got our eyes on of course any type of mass cancellations uh we don't want to jinx anybody but we are going to keep an eye on that because that is something that we've seen crop up quite a bit in the past since we've seen people getting ba
