Adulthood can be scary. Leaving home is a major transition for the whole family. Beautifully portrayed. The quote at the beginning tells a lot. Thank you for this.
ARGH MORE MORE MORE!!!! So much story in such a small amount of time. i want to know all about this world, these characters, and the mission!
I really like this movie. I've watched it three or four times now and find new stuff with each viewing. I like the mystery to it, it's like I'm viewing a far future culture with its own rules and issues and it's up to me, like an anthropologist, to interpret what I can. Tbh, I'd like more of that kinda thing in my sf.
Very nice tidbit of exceptional graphics. Hope to see a story created for it.
I didn't get it? What was it about? It seems incomplete.
.That was beautiful in many ways
TeleTubies In Space!!!!!!
"Sociocyberneering" . . . a term worth remembering. Fantastically beautiful CGI, technically superb execution, especially liked the space elevator concept model. The story is a bit limited, seems like there was much more going on than what could be presented in this little snapshot of a larger idea. Very interesting character portrayals . . . the part that seemed discernible was having to leave behind a partner about to give birth.
Very impressive , it also draws from a a book by Arthur C Clark of a elevator from earth into orbit written I think in the 50's.
I like the aesthetic of it. I like the idea. It makes me want to know more about it. I'll agree, though, that it feels more like a trailer than a complete short story. In the 4 minutes, you don't really get to know anything about the characters or the world. Nothing meaningful, I guess. Having some kind of understanding of the reason that the character was willing to leave would have been a good start. Beautifully done but left wanting to know more.
beautifully done.
OK, Arthur C. Clarke style "space elevator". That's all.
A life departs. A life is born!
