I had the incredible pleasure of interviewing an education specialist Brad Brown who works to give students chances to be seen for who they are and supported in all possible ways Brad told me how important he it is for all students no matter their gender to have ways to share their full selves and he broke down old ideas about masculinity we have adults from every Walk of Life we can't I don't feel it's appropriate to have men to move without having women present because that's I I I want this t
o be a life piece and I want them to be okay with being vulnerable to women not always feeling like they have to quote unquote protect but also be know that it's okay to be protected right and that's that vulnerability piece like we have to unmask this whole perception Persona around masculinity right uh and understand that relationships get richer the more you're able to be vulnerable even with a female it is okay guys there is constant learning and reflection um going on and so that's the exci
tement of this and then how do we get this to take take root within a school and create a culture that's just so powerful that the level of humanity is so strong that now all of a sudden the academic learning is a byproduct and I like wait we time out first of all kids you but but the the the the openness the the connection is that kids actually want to learn and now that not only are you teaching but you're not you're not teaching math you're teaching students you have such a deep personal rela
tionship or we have a deep connection that now not only I want you to learn but you want to learn thank you for watching this video we publish new videos every week so if you enjoy this sort of content please like And subscribe to the channel
