Hopefully they'll revisit this rule in the future. It seems so unfair!

@christinelatham1948

Thats not fair, the injured dog should take priorty over the moose.

@JoeLinux2000

He was already penalized when the Moose attacked the team. He has been one dog down ever since.

@SibeDad

The fact that Dallas was penalized 2 hours for "insufficiently gutted the moose" is BS. He had a critically injured dog that needed care. The rule book should have an exemption in the situation when a dog or dogs are injured! The dogs health is more important than salvaging the meat!

@moshegoldberg9685

It seems the committee desperately wants the reality TV star to be better than he actually is. It will be an amazing win if Dallas can overcome this unfair penalty.

Seems like a rule that is detrimental to the dogs and the musher for the sake of looking good to the animal activists or some other misguided reason. Why should the musher be required to take the time to gut the animal when he and the dogs are the victim thru no fault of their own. Should they be further hindered by an unfair rule that only penalizes the victim further? I would think that it would be better to have the musher leave the carcass and report the confrontation at the next checkpoint so that people from there could do the work and any injured dog or musher could get help sooner. Im guessing that the rules were made by someone who thought every musher should be trained as a butcher as well. Just my opinion though as I have never run a dog sled race which by the way I really enjoy following.

Thank goodness he didn't misgender anyone or use incorrect pronouns, probably be disqualified if not jailed.

@craigsfishingadventures9057

Thats horse shit. U manager 16 dogs,a dead moose, a injured dog. Alone by yourself this is not possible. Should be you have to report it and snow mobiles go take car of the processing.
