The message should be for parents to empower their children to make decisions for themselves. Parents should foster a relationship with their children of open communication. A situation where parents offer choice and support, not give out orders and dictates. Yes, we have two children. My wife is a Dr of Psychology and both of our now adult children are research doctors and rounded, stable individuals. Because children are individuals and should treated as such. Something way too many parents fail to understand as they attempt to force their children into moulds that the parents define.

Parents should keep a eye on the kids phone.

It sounds like these parents have more than predators to worry about. They're kids are looking for trouble.
