I think by now, most people know that the Senate bill (The Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act) was not a border bill. It was a funding bill for Ukraine and Israel. When it did not pass, instead of crafting a separate, stand alone border bill, Schumer tried to pass a separate Ukraine and Israel aid bill. But that didn't pass either. In May of last year, the house passed and sent to the Senate H.R.2, 'Secure The Border Act of 2023.' To this date, Schumer has not allow the House's border bill to reach the Senate floor for a vote. Read H.R. 2, then tell your senators to demand that Schumer brings the 'Secure The Border Act of 2023' to the Senate floor for a vote.
