let's go on a scavenger hunt today y'all come on well look at here here's Miss
peaches over here at the new barn hey Peaches how you doing peaches is
still sleeping in this morning I believe Peaches I was thinking about doing a scavenger
hunt today here on the farm looks like peaches may sleep this scavenger hunt out but hey me and
you let's go on a little sca
venger hunt today and maybe we'll get some help from our animal
friends here on the farm but I would like to see if we me and you can find as many shapes
here on the farm are y'all up for that well all right so let's start looking around here
on the farm and let's see how many different shapes we can find here on our farm hey guys
did y'all hear the news the little farmers and I are going to go on a little scavenger hunt
today and we're going to try to find as many shapes as we can find so
if you guys were to see
a shape let us know okay little fers on our hunt now on our little scavenger hunt if you guys
see any shape let me know and we'll go check it out okay all right what's that you see a
shape oh there is a shape do y'all know what shape this is it's got four sides we got one
two three four but two sides are equal and the other two sides are equal do you know what that
makes that's right that's a rectangle but let's take a little closer inspection of this brown
barn doo
r I think I see some more shapes all right my little Farmers so there's two more
shapes I see right here in this brown Barn Door do you guys see them awesome so let me
tell you what I see I see four triangles do you guys know what a triangle is that's right
that's the shape that has three sides this is a triangle right here we got one two three
y'all see that three sides and there's four of those there's one triangle here there's two
triangles there there's the third triangle right there an
d there's the fourth triangle right
there but guess what else is here I see one more shape I see a square do you know what a
square is it is a shape that has four equal sides and look one 2 three four and all four
sides are the same length so that makes a square wow who knew that our Brown Barn Door
had so many shapes in it how awesome is that now this has got me super excited to find
some more shapes here on the farm so let's keep hunting and let's see what else we can find

st found three total shapes on the brown barn door now how awesome is that right
okay so let's keep go whoa do you guys see that our goats here got Bootsy Capri topper B Peep and
Tipper are all laying under this picnic table oh look at the shape of this picnic table now this
one's really tough let me give you a better view overhead do you know what that called it's got six
sides if you don't know what this is called This is called a hexagon that one's pretty tough and
a hexagon has six side
s one two three 4 five and six now that is one cool shape right there this
is one you just don't see every day I'm glad we spotted this one now let's go see if we can find
some more Cool Shapes here on the farm you know if you keep your eyes open and look around you'll
be very surprised at how many shapes you can find around yourself oh look right here I know that
this is just an ordinary fence but do you guys see the shapes in the fence I do too and do you
remember what this shape is calle
d it's got four equal sides you see it one 2 three four that's
right this is a square and look at all of the squares in this fencing oh my gracious that's
a lot of squares right there wow y'all look who came to visit me it's Jesse the donkey hey
Miss Jesse I'm I know I know Jesse wants some hugs Jesse loves hugs doesn't she yes she does
oh Jesse hey Jesse the little farmers and I are on a big scavenger hunt today we're trying to
find as many shapes as possible here on the farm yeah I know t
hat sounds like lots of fun it
really does almost as fun as getting lots of hugs right yeah that's right okay Miss
Jesse well we're going to continue to look for some shapes around here on the
farm okay and if you were to see any shapes will you heaw for us you know that's the
sound a donkey makes heha heha yeah okay Jesse remember to do that okay

there where the chickens are uh-oh this water here is a little low I think I need
to fill it up what's that you see a shape oh I see a shape too look at there and
it's perfectly round do y'all know what this shape's called that's right this
is a circle and look we have two circles right there hey Jesse did you know that
this black water bowl right here was a circle how cool is that okay so let's get some
water in this black circle water bowl wow finding that Circle was super cool what w
ait did you
guys say something you see another Circle hey it is another circle look this is a big circle
our tractor tire is a circle good job little farmers do y'all happen to know what color the
inside of this circle is right here you got it that is a orange circle and do you know what color
the outside of this circle is right here the tire part that's right this part
is black good job little Farmers that's one big circle right there now well let's go see what else we can
find you guys a
re doing awesome all right so here we are at the yellow egg mobile and do you guys spy what I spy can y'all see it let's take a closer look
at this yellow egg mobile right here we got two sides that are equal and these two sides
that are equal so you know what shape this Mak you got it that is a rectangle so the
yellow egg mobile is a rectangle hey Ryan the rooster the little farmers were just
letting me know that this yellow egg mobile right over here is a rectangle cheese did you
know tha
t if you did cheese you're one smart Goose oh we would you guys like to help me feed the chickens since we're over
here by the Egg Mobile thank you so much all right let's get a big scoop of chicken feed here and let's go take it over
here to one of their feeders right here what's that you guys see another shape you're
right that is a circle except the chickens kind of got it covered up for a minute there but I see
the circle it's right there cheese do you see that Circle I bet Mac sees that
Circle you see the circle Mac well Lucille reeba Piper
and ginger are all in that Circle those chickens sure do love their chicken feed
don't they let's continue on our scavenger hunt and let's see if we can find any more shapes
here on the farm and if we can go visit some more friends hey look there's our friend
nugget hey nugget guess what nugget the little farmers and I are on this big scavenger
hunt today looking for all different types of shapes yeah do you mind if we come in your
pa
sture and do a little searching for some shapes I didn't think so let's go look and
see if we can find any shapes in nuggets pasture but maybe we can find a shape or two
in here that we haven't found yet hey alarm system don't mind us we're
just going to do a little inspection Nugget's got a pretty big pasture
and we already found the square shape on the fence so let's see if we can find something
else hey nugget you want to help we would love for you to help us I think nugget May
spy some
thing nugget do you see a shakee o I see it too nugget I do do
y'all see a shape here that we have not seen yet that's right nugget
sign do you know what shape this is It's called a diamond but a diamond
is also a square turn side ways so look this is called a square and that's got a diamond how cool is that just by simply turning
the shape it could be called something else and look we actually have two of these diamond
shaped signs over here look there's one and there's two well nugget tha
nk you so much for helping
us find two diamond shaped signs in your pasture because you know why we haven't found a diamond
yet so this is great that's one shape that we haven't found do you want me to tell you what
all the shapes we found today are we have found found rectangles we have found squares we have
found circles we have found triangles and now we just found a diamond well nugget I would love to
stay here and visit with you a little bit longer but the little farmers and I are stil
l on a hunt
to find some more shapes if you were to happen to see any more shapes let us know okay all right
okay little Farmers let's keep searching but first look at my little buddy over here hey Mo what are

a hey gus do y'all remember what kind of animals
Gus and Loretta are that's right they're pigs guess what Gus and Loretta the little
farmers and I are on a big scavenger hunt and we're looking for all different types of
shapes ooh you guys know what you can actually draw a pig by just using a few shapes
you want me to show you what I'm talking about all right let's go draw Gus or Loretta and I can show you how to do it by using
just a few shapes first let's draw a circle then let's draw a l
arger circle now let's draw a triangle then we're going to do another triangle so we got two circles and
two triangles now let's draw another Circle so we got three circles and two triangles now let's draw a rectangle we're going to do another another
rectangle so we have two rectangles here on the bottom of our larger Circle can you see
the pig now we're going to give it some eyes which is another Circle here and another Circle
there we're going to draw a smiley face for our smiling Pig let
's give it two lines on its
nose like a pig has ooh we got to give it a curly tail look we just drew a pig by using a
few shapes how cool is that now that you guys know how to draw a pig you guys give it a
try okay all right now let's go see if we can find any more shapes on the farm and
visit with some more Farm Friends let's go visit Mr Moody and see if he has seen
any shapes today wait what's that you guys see a shape right behind me ha you got guys
are right this hay Bell right here it
's a circle you guys have a really good eye at finding shapes let's go visit our buddy Moody y'all look here is our buddy moody moody
is our big old black and white cow Moody I just come to tell you hello
the little farmers and I wanted to give you a visit and I kind of wanted to
scratch your head cuz I know you like that and we want to let you know that
we have found so many shapes today on our scavenger hunt you would not believe it Moody we found triangles and squares
and circles and dia
monds and a hexagon and rectangles did you
know that many shapes were here on the farm yeah me either until I started looking today all right Mr Moody we're fixing to
keep looking and you have a wonderful day buddy okay yeah look at Moody's big old
tongue I'm back at the barn I wanted to make sure that Miss Jesse hasn't found any
new shapes but y'all look peaches is up from her nap what are you doing peaches
you come to tell the little Farmers hello pach says she's going to root
around som
e see how she does that with her nose that's called rooting and they
do that for several reasons they could be looking for food uh peach just likes to
do it because she'll make a cool spot on the ground right there that she can lay in
so she's kind of rooting herself a little bed I came to see if Miss Jesse have found any
shapes but you think you found one up high while you were laying in the stall well let's go check
it out peaches let's see what you're talking about okay so peaches said w
hile she was laying in the
doll that she saw one when she looked up high and oh my gracious I think I see it do you guys see
it it's right up there and it's several of them it's a triangle we got three sides and look at
all the triangles through there thanks peaches we missed this one earlier when we were here when
we saw the brown barn door we didn't see the black triangles Peaches I believe you're one smart
Pig ooh my little buddy farmer RIT over there at Chestnut Hills Farmstead he has a
fun fact
about pigs he would like to share hey farmer Jason I'm farmer red do you know that pigs are
smarter than dog dog bye thanks feret I knew pigs were smart smarter than a dog peaches
did you know that of course she did She's a pig hey my little Farmers thank you guys
so much for helping us find all these incredible shapes today and I can't wait
