The story begins by introducing us to the
protagonist, Lan Mo, who meets her best friend, Liu YiFeng. A young, handsome boy, very popular and a
basketball player, but also one of the biggest sources of stress in the protagonist's life. Because he constantly treats her like a boy,
calling her "brother" and making fun of her. Tired of this treatment, Lan Mo asks him if
he doesn't see her differently, while proudly modeling her cute dress. Upon seeing her, Liu is left speechless, dropping
his ball
in surprise, but seconds later, he bursts into laughter. The girl is embarrassed by that reaction,
while Liu tells her that she looks creepy, that dresses are for girls, among other quite
cruel things. Lan Mo can't stand it anymore, so she kicks
the boy hard, but this causes her dress to rip, which saddens her. Still recovering from the blow, Liu tells
her that she deserves it for being so violent. Completely defeated, Lan Mo changes back into
her usual clothes, feeling humiliated by what happen
ed. On her way home, a strong storm begins, so
the girl desperately looks for a place to take shelter from the rain. After searching for a while, she finally finds
a store and enters without asking. She is surprised to see how pretty the store
is, with all kinds of strange objects and many made of glass. But what catches her attention the most is
a beautiful flower on the counter, shining almost magically. Lan Mo is amazed by the beauty of the flower
and soon hears a voice asking her if she want
s it. When she looks for the source of the voice,
she sees a kind-looking old woman who asks her again if she wants the flower. Lan Mo replies yes but tells her that she
doesn't have much money, showing everything she has. The old woman accepts what she offers, assuring
her that since she likes it so much, then it's hers. The protagonist is surprised and thanks her
happily. When she returns home, she thinks about her
best friend, who only makes her angrier each time they interact. Amidst the fru
stration, she remembers the
flower she bought, so she takes it out of its box and admires how it shines. With excitement, Lan Mo rushes to her mirror,
noticing her ordinary appearance, but still she dares to put the beautiful flower in her
hair. However, upon doing this, her whole body transforms,
changing absolutely everything, revealing a beautiful and delicate young woman. Lan Mo falls to the floor in surprise, wondering
who the person in the mirror is, unable to believe it's herself. Realizi
ng that everything is due to the flower,
she recalls when she bought it, as the old woman told her that she is very lucky, and
she may come looking for her again. Therefore, Lan Mo leaves her house and runs
back to that place, attracting the attention of many people on the way, due to her now
prominent beauty. Determined to ask many questions to the old
woman, the protagonist finally arrives at the place. But unexpectedly, she finds the place empty
and destroyed. Before she can analyze it, Lan M
o sees Liu,
so she runs towards him without thinking, calling him by his name. He turns to her, somewhat confused, and Lan
Mo acts normally until she remembers that she now looks like a beautiful girl. Realizing that he probably doesn't recognize
her, she changes her attitude completely, explaining that she only knows him because
he's very popular at school. Once clarified, she asks if he has eaten,
and when he replies that he hasn't, she invites him to eat, secretly angry that Liu is being
kind
to a pretty girl. Of course, Liu accepts, and they both go to
eat together. Although Lan Mo tries to be as feminine as
possible, when it's time to eat, she can't contain herself due to her hunger. Seeing her eat so enthusiastically, Liu laughs,
saying that her way of eating reminds him of his brother. He explains that he's actually referring to
Lan Mo, a girl who's actually a "tomboy." Hearing the word, Lan Mo gets very angry,
but she restrains herself and asks with some embarrassment if he alw
ays thinks of her as
he looks at other girls. Liu casually replies that it's because they
are like siblings, the best of siblings. This angers Lan Mo even more, so she says
it's enough, and they finish eating. They walk back home, but during the journey,
Lan Mo remembers about the flower, realizing that now that she's pretty, she can be more
direct. Therefore, she faces her friend and confesses
that she actually admires him a lot. She has watched every competition he has participated
in and noti
ced how good he is at playing basketball. She also finds him very handsome, so finally,
she asks if they can be friends. Liu smiles and gladly accepts, which makes
her very happy. Lan Mo then asks him for a favor. Explaining that there are many bad guys on
the way to her house, she asks if it's possible for him to accompany her every day after school. Liu agrees without any problem, and Lan Mo
thanks him and leaves, but before she goes, Liu asks her name, and she tells him her name
is A Zi. When
she arrives home, the protagonist jumps
with excitement, expressing how great it is to be a pretty girl because Liu seemed very
happy talking to her. In a short while, her excitement fades, understanding
that she shouldn't be so happy. She takes the flower out of her hair, returning
to her normal form, but her mother calls her, informing her that Liu has come to visit. Lan Mo worries a lot, thinking he might have
discovered her secret, but her friend just tells her about the girl he met. He exp
lains that he will accompany her home
every day, so he won't be able to go with Lan Mo as usual. The protagonist feels relieved, seeing that
was all, and assures him that it's no problem, as she's happy that he has a new friend. The next day, when classes end, Lan Mo hurries
to hide and puts the flower back on, transforming into A Zi once again. All the students are astonished to see her
until she finally finds Liu, and they walk home together. Lan Mo realizes how much her shoes hurt when
her ap
pearance is changed, but she's still happy to be with Liu. However, he stops suddenly, remembering that
he forgot to inform Lan Mo that he's already left, so he goes to call her. This panics Lan Mo because her phone was in
her bag, and in a moment of desperation, she throws the phone into some bushes. And luckily, she threw it far enough that
the ringtone couldn't be heard. Unfortunately, a dog picked up her phone and
started running towards them quickly. In a panic, Lan Mo throws herself onto L
iu,
trying to distract him, as an excuse, she says her ankle hurts because of her shoes. Liu then checks her feet and indeed notices
how injured they are from the heels. He takes a band-aid from his bag and carefully
puts it on her ankles. Lan Mo is surprised by the gesture and asks
him why he's so tender with her. Liu responds that she seems like someone who
needs taking care of, unlike Lan Mo, as she is not very feminine and can do everything
on her own. Saying this, he gets up and continues w
alking,
leaving Lan Mo thoughtful because she realized that he actually thinks she doesn't need to
be taken care of. Lan Mo keeps thinking about it the next day,
in her normal form, Liu approaches and greets her with a strong hit on the head. He tells her that he wants to introduce her
to a girl who is beautiful and feminine, as meeting her might help Lan Mo become more
like a girl. Lan Mo gets angry, exclaiming that she already
is a girl as she lunges at him, but someone stops her. Lin TianGe,
the most beautiful girl in the
class, asks if she's bothering Liu again. Then she ignores Lan Mo and tells Liu that
a friend of hers has opened an outdoor café, and she would like him to come along with
her and her friends. Liu thinks it's a good idea, so he immediately
invites Lan Mo to come with him. In the evening, Lan Mo arrives at the café
but realizes that everyone is dressed formally and elegantly, while she is wearing her usual
clothes with sandals. Lin's friend mocks her appearance, ask
ing
her to change and come back when she looks more presentable. However, Lin asks her not to be so cruel and
tells Lan Mo that there are a pair of shoes she can borrow in the corner, so she can join
them once she changes. Lan Mo thanks her, but the shoes are no better
than her sandals; they are childish, purple, rabbit shoes, dirty and broken. Still, she puts them on and sits at the table
with the others. When everyone is there, the café owner announces
that they will play a warm-up game. He ex
plains that the rule of the game is that
each person passes a cup in order, doing a random action with the cup before passing
it to the next person. Everyone does something random, like tapping
the cup or turning it upside down, until it's Lin's turn, who takes a piece of cake and
puts it in the cup. When everyone finishes, the café owner reveals
that the final part of the game is that each person performs the action they did with the
cup to the person on their left. They all do it, until it's L
in's turn again,
and Lan Mo realizes that the person to her left is Liu. Seeing Lin trying to romantically feed Liu
a piece of cake, Lan Mo becomes upset and accidentally spills her drink. Lin gets angry, and Lan Mo stands up, embarrassed,
trying to clean the juice stain on her clothes while apologizing repeatedly. However, when she stands up, the other guests
notice her shoes, mentioning that they are even broken. All the negative attention becomes too much
for Lan Mo, so she takes off her shoe
s and runs away from there. The girl runs desperately down the building's
stairs while crying, searching for an exit. In the midst of her escape, she trips over
a boy and falls down the stairs, but the boy catches her before she can have a dangerous
fall. Seeing the boy, Lan Mo is dazzled, noticing
how handsome he is, and wondering how such a good-looking person could exist. She touches his face, asking if he's real
or if he's a doll, but realizing what she's doing, she pulls back and apologizes
to him. The boy notices her dirty clothes, so he points
her towards the bathroom so she can clean herself up. Lan Mo tries to clean her clothes in the bathroom,
but the stain on her clothes doesn't disappear, leaving her soaked and without shoes, worse
off than before. However, she remembers the flower in her pocket,
so she puts it on and transforms into A Zi, feeling very confident because no one will
laugh at her this way. When she exits the bathroom, she sees the
boy waiting, so she approach
es him and asks if he could go with her to the café to join
a party. The boy agrees, and when they both arrive
at the café, they steal everyone's attention due to their incredible attractiveness. Seeing A Zi, Liu comes over, and she greets
him, mentioning that it's a coincidence to see him there. Liu invites her to join, but Lin looks somewhat
angry, stating that it depends on her if they can join or not. The boy accompanying Lan Mo asks the blonde
girl if the café belongs to her, and she confid
ently responds that it belongs to her
friend. But the boy smiles and says that unfortunately
for her, her friend is also his friend. The owner confirms this, and Lin gets angry. The boy suggests making a bet. He asks her to make a wish, anything she wants,
if he can fulfill it, he wins, and if he can't, she wins. Lin accepts, saying that the loser will have
to wear the rabbit shoes filled with juice to leave the place. The boy accepts her conditions, and the blonde
girl confidently makes her wis
h, saying she wants to see the stars as she points to the
clearly cloudy sky. The boy then heads to the café's bar, where
he prepares a sophisticated special cocktail that seems to contain galaxies and stars. Everyone is amazed by this, but Lin gets angry,
asking how it can be possible, as she tries to snatch the drink from him. The boy easily dodges her and then throws
the drink into the sky, creating the illusion of seeing the stars. He then holds the shoes, and Lin snatches
them from him, rea
dy to leave the place. However, the boy is not satisfied with this,
so he says she has to leave while rolling. Liu gets angry upon hearing that and defends
Lin without hesitation, which affects Lan Mo deep down. So in the end, she decides and walks towards
Lin, asking for the shoes and accepting defeat, as the stars in the drink were not real stars. The boy, Liu, and the others are surprised
by this, but before Lan Mo puts on the shoes, the boy asks her to let him fix them first. With some sciss
ors and tape, he quickly creates
cute sandals and puts them on Lan Mo himself, creating a very romantic scene in front of
everyone. Lan Mo blushes at the boy's treatment, and
he stands up to caress her hair, emphasizing the flower and whispering that her life has
changed a lot with that beautiful appearance she has now. Lan Mo is startled, completely surprised,
and asks how he knows her secret. The boy replies that he was still outside
the bathroom when she transformed, and he noticed the bright
light she emitted during
the process. Lin's friend interrupts the conversation and
demands that they leave the place, but Lin leaves first, saying she can't stand being
there anymore, and those who want to stay can do so. Of course, her friend follows her, and Lin
calls Liu to leave together, but he says he wants to wait and see if Lan Mo comes back. The blonde girl replies that if she wanted
to come back, she would have already, so Liu stays thoughtful, regretting not having followed
her. Seei
ng the unknown boy close to A Zi, Liu
gets angry and leaves the place, which discourages the girl. Shortly after, Lan Mo comes out of the building
with the boy, and she thanks him for everything and then asks for his name. The boy finally introduces himself, revealing
that his name is Xia An. Lan Mo also introduces herself, and since
he knows everything, she removes the flower, returning to her true appearance, and saying
that it must be difficult to get used to her suddenly being so ugly. The b
oy smiles and asks who told her she's
ugly because he'll punch them for her. Then he says that she's like a star in the
sky that night, because even though it's covered by clouds, it will keep shining. Lan Mo responds that it doesn't make sense
to shine if no one sees them, and besides, it's more likely that she's a cloud. Xia An stops her, asking her not to be so
down, after all, she has an incredible flower, which means she's the heroine. After receiving a call, the boy says goodbye,
clarifyin
g that it's getting late, so they'll have to meet again later. Lan Mo asks him when, and Xia An replies that
she should attend the Bird and Whale Dance, and maybe they'll meet there again. Days later, they announce the Bird and Whale
Dance, and many students want to attend, either to see their idols or to dance on stage. Because the best dancer of the night will
have the chance to dance with a member of Bird and Whale. Lan Mo hears all of this as she passes by,
not remembering at all what Xia An
told her. The only thing that catches her attention
is that according to what they say, the best dancer will have a big dinner with the idols. And being a food enthusiast, Lan Mo excitedly
says she wants a big dinner too. However, Lin appears in front of her, asking
if she can dance because if she can't, then she has no chance. The blonde clarifies that if she begs her,
maybe she can teach her, as otherwise, she'll just make a fool of herself in front of Bird
and Whale. Lin leaves her alone, bu
t upon hearing the
name Bird and Whale again, Lan Mo finally remembers what Xia An told her. And now that she has more reasons to go, Lan
Mo spends her afternoon practicing in the school's dance studio. But she soon realizes how difficult it is,
and in a short time, she becomes frustrated, so she decides to take out her favorite snack
from her backpack to cheer herself up while eating. Lin enters the room suddenly, asking what
she's supposed to be doing, and Lan Mo replies that she's practicing
her dance. The blonde mocks her way of practicing, as
she's simply eating on the floor. She then enters the room, arranging her bag
and asking her to leave the place because she needs to use the dance studio. Lan Mo gets angry, exclaiming that she also
needs to use the dance studio, and besides, she arrived first, so she should stay. Lin then proposes to do an arbitrary act for
Lan Mo to imitate, and if she can do it, Lin will acknowledge that she can dance, and they
can use the studio together.
Lan Mo accepts, so the blonde girl starts
doing a bunch of complicated movements that Lan Mo can't imitate. The protagonist has no choice but to accept
her defeat and leave the place, but when she opens the door, she finds Liu, who tells her
he has been looking for her for hours and he will ride her home on his bike. Lan Mo smiles and accepts, but Lin appears
behind her, asking with a smile if she wants to practice the dance, as she'll teach her
whatever she wants. Without waiting for an answer
, the blonde
drags her along, and Liu says he'll wait, sitting in a corner of the studio. With Liu present, Lin acts as friendly as
possible, asking what dance she would like to learn. Lan Mo ignores the sudden change of attitude
and responds that she wants to learn to dance House because it's something easy that even
non-dancers can do. She shows Lin a video, and the blonde says
it's not a problem as it's quite easy. Lan Mo gets excited and plays the music to
start practicing, but Lin's gaze is
fixed on Liu, who is just looking at his phone without
paying attention. When she comes to her senses, Lin starts dancing,
but she does it so fast that Lan Mo can't keep up with the rhythm. The blonde kindly tells her not to worry,
they can try again, and she'll help her with whatever she needs. While helping Lan Mo, Lin keeps her attention
on Liu, and when she makes sure he's not looking, she falls heavily to the ground, asking Lan
Mo why she stepped on her when she's helping her dance. This c
atches Liu's attention, and he approaches
to find out what's going on, and Lin explains that Lan Mo stepped on her foot. Liu gets concerned, asking if it's serious,
and clarifying that it was probably an accident since Lan Mo is very clumsy. Desperate with the shameless lie, Lan Mo exclaims
that she didn't do it and didn't even touch her. But Lin shows a pained expression, even crying,
claiming that she did it and asking why she's lying and not admitting her mistake. This infuriates Lan Mo even
more, who exclaims
that it's Lin who's telling lies. Lin starts crying more, calling her selfish. On the other hand, Liu approaches Lan Mo and
tells her that it's understandable to get hurt while dancing, so she just needs to apologize. But Lan Mo pushes him away, asking why she
should apologize for something she didn't even do. The blonde continues with her act, asking
if Lan Mo hates her, but before Lan Mo can respond, Liu interrupts, saying it's pointless
to continue arguing, and since Lin go
t hurt, he'll accompany her to the nurse's office. Lan Mo is left defeated in her place, while
Liu approaches Lin, who tells him her foot hurts a lot, so he'll have to carry her. Liu takes Lin's bag and carries her on his
back to the nurse's office, leaving Lan Mo alone and sad in the dance studio. Later, she returns home, feeling quite down,
but she tries to cheer herself up again with her favorite snack. However, when she opens her bag, she realizes
that it's not her things, but Lin's. When Li
u took her bag, he mistook it for Lan
Mo's, which looks exactly the same. Lan Mo then gets excited when she sees a photograph
from Lin's elementary school graduation album. Intrigued, she examines the photo, as Lin
must have been beautiful in elementary school. But when she sees Lin's position, she is very
surprised to see a very plain and unattractive girl. Shortly after, she returns the bag to Lin,
who gets anxious and immediately asks if she saw what was inside. Lan Mo lies and assures her th
at she didn't
see anything, so the blonde girl angrily takes her bag and leaves the place. Lan Mo is surprised at how beautiful Lin looks
even when she's angry, so she wonders who the ugly girl in the photo she saw is. Her thoughts are interrupted when Lin returns
and asks her for a favor. Lin explains that Liu's birthday is approaching,
and she wants to throw a party for him. And since Lan Mo is his best friend, she must
know a lot about what he likes, so her help would be very useful. Lan Mo t
hinks about it for a moment but eventually
agrees, after all, it's to make her best friend happy. In the evening, she makes her own gift for
Liu, a cute basketball necklace with inscriptions on it. When she finally finishes, she sighs proudly
but realizes that her fingers are stuck together due to the strong glue she used. The next day, she tries to hide her fingers,
but Liu ends up noticing, and he mocks her a lot, unaware that she's like that because
of her own gift. In the afternoon, Lan Mo a
ccompanies Lin to
a famous store known for a character called Mr. Unicorn, the store's mascot, who is in
charge of delivering cakes if someone orders one. Lan Mo assures that Liu would love it, so
Lin enters the store and asks what kind of cake Liu likes. Lin makes a disgusted expression when Lan
Mo tells her that Liu likes Durian cake, but she still orders one for his birthday. Two days later, Lan Mo arranges the party
venue, setting up all the decorations while Lin only stands there, giving or
ders but not
helping at all. When Lan Mo finally finishes, Lin orders her
to clean the floor before the guests start arriving. Lan Mo notices a beautiful basketball, apparently
very expensive, but before she can even get close, Lin warns her not to touch it as she
hasn't washed her hands, and the basketball is for Liu. Lan Mo then remembers the gift she made for
her friend, thinking about how cheap it must seem compared to Lin's gift. Still, she finishes cleaning the place, and
shortly after, th
e guests arrive. Lin gets angry when she sees that Mr. Unicorn
is already 10 minutes late, and when she checks her phone, a message informs her that the
delivery person failed. Desperate for everything to go perfectly,
Lin makes Lan Mo wear the Mr. Unicorn costume. But while helping her put on the costume,
she makes sure to jam the zipper of the suit so that Lan Mo can't get out. When Liu arrives, the party finally starts,
and he receives all his gifts. He thanks Lin for everything, but she clar
ifies
that there's still something else, and with a snap of her fingers, Mr. Unicorn comes out
to deliver the cake. Everyone is delighted with Mr. Unicorn, and
Liu is excited to see his favorite cake, mentioning how well Lin knows him. Meanwhile, Lan Mo can't hear very well inside
the costume, but she wants to surprise Liu by revealing that she is Mr. Unicorn. However, the zipper is stuck, so she can't
get out of the suit, and since no one understands what she's saying, they can't help her. Lan
Mo runs to her bag to get her gift, but
before she can do anything, she hears everyone starting to sing. The girl is paralyzed, asking if Liu really
hasn't noticed that she's not there. Lan Mo becomes sad to see that they started
without her, and she hasn't even given her gift yet. Liu blows out the candles on the cake with
Lin, and then they play the piano together, surrounded by others. Lan Mo feels down, but still wants to give
her gift, but a student pulls her, wanting Mr. Unicorn to do a sh
ow. Amidst the struggle, Lan Mo trips and accidentally
throws her bag out of the window. All her things fall into the pool, including
the necklace for Liu, so Lan Mo runs in tears to retrieve it. She enters the water, still in her costume,
desperate to find the necklace. Meanwhile, Liu wonders why Lan Mo is not answering
any of his calls, but then he sees Mr. Unicorn in the pool. On the other hand, Lan Mo continues crying,
with her feet freezing from the cold water, her clothes soaked, and not f
inding any trace
of the necklace. Liu finds the necklace and asks Mr. Unicorn
if it's what he is looking for. As he opens the necklace with curiosity, he
sees the inscriptions on it and is surprised. He asks Mr. Unicorn if it's Lan Mo, and approaches
her to find out, but she doesn't say a word and shakes her head several times. Still crying, Lan Mo gets desperate because
she doesn't want Liu to see her like this, resigned to the fact that she must not be
the person he loves. Liu realizes that th
e zipper of the costume
is stuck, so he forcefully tears it open and asks once again if it's Lan Mo. But when she removes the head of the costume,
A Zi appears with a smile, asking if he likes her gift because she made it herself. Although he thought it was Lan Mo, Liu does
his best to smile and thanks A Zi for the gift. Meanwhile, Lin observes the scene from the
party venue, very certain that it was Lan Mo who dressed up as the unicorn, but A Zi
is in her place. After thinking about it for a wh
ile, she begins
to understand the situation and realizes that both girls are the same person, so she plans
to reveal her secret. The next day, Liu meets A Zi for some drinks
and then goes for a walk. But in the middle of their walk, Lin catches
up with them and invites them to swim together because she has three passes for the pool. Liu is happy and mentions how much he wanted
to swim, but Lan Mo didn't want to accompany him. Lin says it's understandable, as due to the
girl's small height, it's
very normal for her to feel inferior. Lan Mo listens to all this without saying
anything but determined, she agrees to go swimming, confident deep down that she is
not inferior to Lin as long as she wears the flower. When they get to the pool, Lin gets angry
with all the attention A Zi gets for looking beautiful in a swimsuit. Still, she disguises well how much it bothers
her and smiles at A Zi, asking why she's not getting into the water. Lan Mo sits at the edge of the pool, explaining
that she
only knows how to swim a little and is not really good at it. Lin interrupts her, saying it would be very
boring if she doesn't get in the water, so she will take it upon herself to teach her
to swim. Having said that, she doesn't wait for A Zi's
response and pulls her by the arm, making her fall into the water. Liu supports her, so in no time, they manage
to teach the girl how to swim. Lan Mo is very happy and starts swimming around,
accidentally colliding with Liu, who asks her why she swims
with her eyes closed, as
she can't see where she's going that way. The girl confesses that she is afraid to open
her eyes underwater, so Liu tries to help her and suggests that she imagines they are
deep in the ocean. Both of them submerge under the water, and
Liu takes her hand to assist her while they vividly imagine the ocean floor. But when she finally musters the courage to
open her eyes, Lan Mo can only see Liu smiling, leaving her completely dazzled. They both emerge from the water, laugh
ing
happily, which clearly angers Lin. She approaches them and suggests with a smile
that they try the diving platform now that A Zi can swim. Lan Mo is a bit worried, but Liu assures her
that it's just for fun and not very high. She agrees, and the three of them head to
the diving platform, which is about two meters high, something Lan Mo considers quite tall. Lin climbs up and jumps first, gracefully
diving into the water. Liu follows, jumping second and praising her
for doing well. Both of th
em look at A Zi, and Lin clarifies
that she doesn't have to do it if she's scared. But Lan Mo thinks about how difficult it already
is to be beautiful, so she can't lose to Lin. So she decides to climb the diving platform,
and everyone gathers to watch, while Lin smiles maliciously because if A Zi jumps, the impact
of the water will make her flower fall off, revealing her true form. Unfortunately, the protagonist doesn't realize
this until she jumps, and it's too late to regret it. However, when
she dives into the water, someone
else quickly jumps towards her without anyone noticing. Lin was eagerly waiting to see the real Lan
Mo, but contrary to her expectations, it's A Zi who emerges from the water, with Xia
An holding the flower on her head. He scolds her, saying that she can't even
swim properly and still dared to jump with her eyes closed. He also expresses annoyance towards Liu, saying
that as his friend, he should have known that she could get hurt, but instead of stopping
her,
he encouraged her. Xia An questions how he can be Liu's friend,
which angers Liu considerably. However, Lan Mo interrupts them disheartened,
saying that she wants to go home. Xia An accompanies her, and they both leave,
leaving Liu very angry, and Lin more than furious. Some time later, the day of the Bird and Whale
Dance Party arrives, and all the students crowd together to enter. Lan Mo also arrives very excited because she
has been practicing her dance for two weeks and has improved quite a b
it. However, she is not as happy because no one
invited her to be their dance partner. Liu tries to call her over since he was near
the front of the line with Lin, his dance partner. But although Lan Mo tries to join them, the
person in charge of the line yells that she can't do that, so Liu says they'll have to
meet inside the auditorium. After a long wait, when it's finally Lan Mo's
turn and two other students', the person in charge of the line announces that there are
no more seats, so to mai
ntain order, no one else will be allowed in. Without being able to argue, Lan Mo has no
choice but to give up and sits outside the auditorium as the event begins. Suddenly, Xia An appears, asking if she's
not going in. Lan Mo is surprised and asks if he also couldn't
get into the event. To cheer him up, she says it's just a group
of idols, so there's nothing really worth seeing. Even so, Xia An comments that she probably
still wants to see them, as it shows on her face. When she confirms this, h
e asks her to follow
him, and together they enter the back of the auditorium. The boy takes her to a door, explaining that
from there she can join the rest of the audience and then go on stage to present the dance
she prepared. Despite not understanding how the boy knows
so much, Lan Mo thanks him and joins the rest of the audience, discreetly sitting on the
stairs. On the stage, the members of the Bird and
Whale, four boys with distinctive masks that they have never taken off in their careers,
are introduced. These idols will be the first ones to sit
as judges, watching the dance performances of all participants. At the end, they will choose a lucky girl
winner who will get to dance with one of them and have dinner together. The audience exclaims with excitement, and
soon the dance performances begin. After a while, most of the participants had
already performed, and they were reaching the last ones. Lan Mo wonders if Lin will dance ballet, as
she is a professional. Even though she ma
y not be as good as Lin,
she learned her dance well, and no one else is going to dance House. When it's Lin's turn, she appears on stage
in a beautiful dress, leaving the audience amazed. However, Lan Mo is paralyzed as she sees Lin
start to dance the exact same dance she chose, and everyone is enchanted. When the dance ends, the host calls the next
participant, who is A Zi. But Lan Mo panics, as she cannot go on stage
with such a horrible dance, and she will only humiliate herself if she does t
he same dance
as Lin. Therefore, she gives up and decides to run
away from the auditorium, while the host keeps asking for A Zi. When she finally leaves the auditorium, she
stands behind the door feeling very depressed, wondering why she always ends up being a failure. However, a commotion inside the auditorium
distracts her, and when she takes a look, she sees that one of the idols is on stage. The boy announces that he will reveal the
lucky girl of the party and surprises the audience by takin
g off his mask for the first
time, revealing that the girl is A Zi. Lan Mo is greatly surprised to see that the
idol is Xia An, who asks her to come up on stage. Lan Mo decides to use her flower to transform
into A Zi and re-enters the auditorium, walking up to the stage and taking Xia An's hand. Then, the host announces that the stage will
open, and the couples can go up to dance. Lan Mo confesses to Xia An that she doesn't
know how to dance waltz, but he reassures her that she just needs to re
lax because he
will lead her. Lan Mo trusts him, and both end up giving
the best waltz performance on stage, leaving the audience amazed. Meanwhile, Lin gets very angry to see that
Liu is not paying attention to her, and he is not even dancing with her as his attention
is on A Zi and Xia An. Finally, when the event ends, Lan Mo accompanies
Xia An to his dressing room to wait for him to finish some things before they go to dinner. However, Lin barges into the room, very angry,
and exclaims that A
Zi is deceiving him because she is not beautiful at all. She explains that nothing about her is real,
and her beauty comes from the flower she uses because her true appearance is ugly and tiny,
so no one would ever look at her. Lan Mo is deeply affected by Lin's words but
remains silent, and Lin continues to say that an idol could never date such a girl because
it would be very humiliating. As if it wasn't enough, Lin declares that
she will show her true face and aggressively rips the flower fr
om A Zi's hair, revealing
Lan Mo, who falls to the ground feeling quite dejected. The blonde girl smiles triumphantly, but Xia
An snatches the flower from her, asking angrily what it has to do with her. He tells Lin that Lan Mo is beautiful, and
she, on the other hand, is horrible. Then he helps Lan Mo up so they both leave
the place. Lin asks if he's not worried that Lan Mo might
be lying to him, but Xia An stops before leaving, clarifying that Lan Mo never lied to him because
he knew about the
flower from the beginning. Shortly after, Lan Mo cheers up when she goes
to dinner with Xia An and thanks him for everything, as incredible things always happen whenever
she sees him. Everything seems to be very happy, but soon
we see a mysterious old woman observing Lan Mo from a crystal ball, commenting that soon
she will get what she wants. Then Xia An receives a text message ordering
him to ask Lan Mo if she wants to be beautiful forever. As he passes a plate of food to Lan Mo, he
asks her
the question he was told to ask. However, Lan Mo interrupts him by pulling
his arm abruptly, as he was about to burn himself on the grill. Even though she ends up covered in hot food,
she is more concerned about checking if Xia An's arm is okay. Xia An smiles, removing food from his head,
and asks her why she cares so much about him, as he has gotten himself into trouble just
to help her. Lan Mo replies that it's obvious she would
do it, after all, they are very good friends. Xia An then ponders
for a moment, and more
messages arrive on his phone, but impulsively he turns to Lan Mo, desperately telling her
that she is the most beautiful girl he has ever met, so she doesn't need the flower. Worried, he looks seriously at Lan Mo and
asks her to throw away that flower and never touch it again. Lan Mo blushes at his sweet words, asking
what he's saying all of a sudden, but Xia An just asks her to remember what he said. After that, they continue with their dinner. Meanwhile, the old woman f
rom before becomes
very angry with Xia An. When dinner is over, Xia An says goodbye to
Lan Mo and leaves with sadness, only to later meet the old woman, who scolds him for almost
ruining her plan. She asks the boy to stop deluding himself
because he has no feelings or dignity; he is just a doll and a puppet. A monster to whom she gave his body, life,
and the opportunity to live. Xia An admits he made a mistake, so he asks
the old woman to punish him. The old woman then takes away his soul, turni
ng
his body into a lifeless doll as punishment. Shortly after, Xia An wakes up in a room with
a large mirror, where he can see that the old woman has left a huge mark on his back. This means she has given him another chance
but leaving a mark so that he won't forget his identity. Xia An then heads to Lan Mo's school because
the old woman sent him a message ordering him to gain Lan Mo's trust and take her to
her that same night. But before he can do anything, a girl on the
street recognizes him,
and in no time, a bunch of fans start following him. Xia An manages to hide in an alley, but Lan
Mo finds him and approaches to greet him. She laughs at the situation because she saw
the bunch of fans following him. But Xia An speaks to her seriously and asks
her if she would be disappointed if he were different from what she thinks. Also, she asks if she will be able to remember
him if he doesn't appear again, but Lan Mo doesn't understand what he means. Before he can explain, the bunch of fans
appears,
pushing him away abruptly and causing his phone to fall. When Lan Mo picks it up, she sees the message
the old woman sent and reads all the other messages as well, realizing that everything
was planned from the beginning. With sadness, she drops the phone and says
that she thought she had made a friend, but it's better if they never see each other again. Lan Mo then runs away crying because every
time she shows her trust, people make fun of her, and the feeling of being deceived
is dis
gusting. On the same day, Xia An returns to the old
woman and informs her that Lan Mo will never meet her because he will never take her to
that dirty place. Seeing that the boy won't obey anymore and
is willing to lose everything, the old woman takes his life for good. And so, Xia An ends his life, happy to have
been able to meet Lan Mo and to die like any other human. After finishing with him, the old woman transforms
into a beautiful woman using something and says that apparently, she will ha
ve to do
everything. The next day, Liu finds a way to convince
Lan Mo to have lunch with him and A Zi so that they can finally meet each other. After accepting without thinking, Lan Mo panics
because she knows it's impossible for her and A Zi to be present at the same time since
they are the same person. Still, Lan Mo goes to have lunch with Liu,
who tells her that A Zi will probably arrive later. So, they both order the food, but when it
finally arrives, Liu asks where A Zi is, and Lan Mo panic
s. As an excuse, she says she'll go to the bathroom
and runs away from the place, then comes back as A Zi, acting as if she just arrived. Liu invites her to sit down, saying that they
already ordered for her, so she can start eating. The girl eats her food happily, finally at
ease, but her tranquility is interrupted when Liu asks why Lan Mo is taking so long. With no other option, A Zi tells him that
she will look for Lan Mo and rushes to the bathroom. There, Lan Mo removes the flower, quite exh
austed
from all the running, but suddenly, Lin takes the flower and asks if she will lie to Liu
forever. The blonde then says that she will never be
able to get close to him without the flower, but Lan Mo exclaims that she will be his best
friend even without it. Lin proposes a test in that case, explaining
that she sent a message to Liu, saying that she saw A Zi leaving the restaurant in a hurry. So, if she goes back to their table and finds
that Liu is not there, she will know that he abandone
d her for A Zi. Lan Mo leaves Lin in the bathroom and runs
back to her table, assuring herself that he wouldn't leave her. However, when she arrives, she sees the plates
of food and an empty table. Lin approaches and tells her that she means
nothing to him, so she should stop having expectations. After dropping the flower on the floor, Lin
leaves, and Lan Mo stays crying at the table. A waitress comes to her and asks her to pay
the bill, but Lan Mo confesses that she doesn't have enough money. B
efore she gets into trouble, a beautiful
woman offers to pay the bill, and Lan Mo thanks her, promising to pay her back soon. The woman assures her that she doesn't need
to repay her and asks her why she was crying, telling her she can talk to her if she needs
to. Lan Mo is surprised by how kind the woman
is, so she decides to trust her and accompanies her. Meanwhile, Liu desperately searches for Lan
Mo and manages to locate her thanks to her phone, so he quickly heads to her location. On the ot
her hand, Lan Mo arrives at the woman's
apartment and tells her everything about the flower. The woman confesses that it's not an uncommon
case, as many girls have experienced the same, like Lin TianGe, for example. Lan Mo is surprised, saying that's impossible
since Lin TianGe is naturally beautiful and never wears a flower accessory. The woman explains that she has something
even better, as like Lan Mo, she maintained her beauty with a flower accessory but eventually
no longer needed it after
a certain period when she signed a contract with her. She says that if Lan Mo signs the contract,
she can stay beautiful forever without the need for the flower. The woman shows her the contract and urges
her to sign it, promising that she will get everything she wants with her beauty and will
never feel pain again. Lan Mo takes the pen, ready to sign the contract,
but she is interrupted by Liu, who desperately calls her name from the other side of the
door. The woman becomes angry to see her he
sitating,
but Lan Mo says she wants to try one more time. So, she opens the door, appearing as A Zi,
and removes the flower in front of Liu, revealing her true identity. To her surprise, Liu tells her that he already
knew since her birthday when he saw her by the pool, he had known all along. Lan Mo starts crying, asking why he didn't
tell her before, but deep down, she is very happy that the lie is over. The woman continues trying to convince her,
but her time is running out as she shows her tr
ue elderly appearance. Desperate, she uses her magic to attack them,
but suddenly a force field protects them. This scares the old woman, as her magic is
supposed to be indestructible, but she is completely defeated. Then, Lan Mo is surprised to see that what
protected them was Xia An's soul, who says goodbye with a smile and departs for good. Lan Mo realizes that the old woman is the
same one who sold her the flower and quickly leaves the place with Liu, leaving all the
danger behind. Time pass
es, and Lan Mo never uses the flower
again, content and happy with her appearance and her life with Liu, her best friend. And that's how the first season of this anime
