Arrival into Changi Airport from Sydney Relatively quick pass through immigration And into the awaiting cab, taking in the lush greenery of Singapore on our way to the hotel Checking into the beautiful Fullerton Bay Hotel Our home away from home for the next 4 days Soaking in the calming and luxurious atmosphere Such soothing aesthetics Quick check-in, and we head out for our dinner reservation It's a drizzly evening as we make our way through town Taking in the sights and smells...starting to g
et hungry now Past this cute street mural You can't go to Singapore without the obligatory meal at Jumbo Seafood... Make sure you book ahead, as the restaurant gets very busy at dinner time We'll have one of everything, famished Come with an empty stomach, you won't be disappointed Starting with stir fried asparagus Next up, deshelled fried prawns with golden salted egg Crunchy, salty, savoury and piping hot = delicious Bamboo clam steamed with minced garlic The glass noodles compliments the fre
shness of the clams perfectly And this is what we came for, the award-winning chilli mud crab Fried rice, so comforting And the grand finale, Jumbo's signature black pepper mud crab I think the chilli mud crab takes the win. The black pepper was a little too over-powering for me The aftermath So full. So satisfying. Quick breakfast at La Brasserie located on the First Floor of the hotel, a French inspired restaurant serving buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am And it's straight out for the day's adventures to begin Seems like everyone has the same idea with the early start It's early in the morning, but already feeling the heat and humidity Taking in the lushness and greenery Fir
st stop, Orchid Haven As the theme suggests, I could happily get lost in here all morning A short walk away is Spago, located on the rooftop of the Marina Bay Sands Chill vibes, with a relaxed Mediterranean look and feel CHEERS! A rooftop bar in Singapore is rather incomplete without the mandatory rooftop pool And with views like this, I’m in no rush to leave Quite simply breathtaking... Let's grab a couple of snacks from the convenience store to tide me over until dinner And back to the hotel for a quick rest and freshen up Up we go Honestly can't get over this view Picture-postcard-perfect Snack time! Hot and spicy potato chips... Spice level doesn't live up to it's name... g Let's take a quick lap around the block So many options, where do I begin?! Sensory overload - everything looks and smells declicious This looks like a good place to start. R&B Express Their specialty is BBQ chicken wings and satay sticks Mesmerised by this sight I mean, how could this not taste good?! We ordered the wings and a mixture of beef and chicken satay sticks And this super yummy lime thirst-quencher The wings are out of this world. This noodle dish we ordered from another vendor = n
ot so great I could easily polish off a whole plate of the satay sticks, so good! Ok next up, is Heng Heng BBQ Their specialty is BBQ Stingray which everyone seems to be ordering They clearly know something I don't Let's give it a whirl Spritz the lime all over The flesh is so tender, and the marinade is just right without being too overpowering Melts in the mouth. For a night-time adventure at Gardens by the Bay Scan our tickets Through a trippy floral light display Welcome to the Flower Dome It seems Singapore's love for all things lush and floral knows no bounds Florals, florals, everywhere How pretty is this? Let's head out As always, the exit is strategically placed through a souvenir store So many glittery, shiny things It's another beautiful and balmy evening

The twinkling lights are so mesmerising, I could happily sit here all night Well wasn't that simply delightful? r tour of the hotel, I present to you The Landing Point Located on the Ground Floor of the hotel You can lounge around and soak in the views of the Marina Bay Such a light-filled and tranquil space It’s still early in the morning, so the space is pretty much all ours for the moment I think I shall pop back down later in the day and curl up on one of the lounges with a good book and a cup of tea Loving these beautiful chandeliers The space tends to get busy from midday onwards when the bar opens
