Adventure Time is about
Jake the Dog and Finn the Human. Finn is a spunky 12-year-old who likes math and screaming,
and every girl in the land wants to smooch him. Even this creepy grandma elephant! Eventually, he grows into a strapping young man with unchecked emotions and a restraining order. Jake is a doughy layabout who teaches
Finn to bottle up his feelings and spend all his time PARTYING
instead of becoming
a better person. He can stretch and shapeshift into any size or form except for a good role model! Together, they're ☆Codependent!☆ They quest for the sake of Princess Bobabo,
the leader of the Candy Kingdom! who often clones and murders her own subjects! :) Watch as she causes the conflict in a third of the episodes, and then Jake causes the conflict in the rest of them! oh, and Ice Cream is there too I guess.

and the rest of the teriary cast in one-off adventures that are way more interesting
than anything we're supposed to care about as Rebecca Sugar tries her best to give
this show any redeeming qualities. WRITER 1:

You forgot to mention that the show takes place about a thousand years after a giant nuclear war that destroyed civilization as we know it. Everything and anything is essentially the result of a mutation.
YOU DIDN'T MENTION THE WORM THAT GOT DRUNK, DID PARKOUR, SLICED OFF PART OF HIS TAIL WHICH BECAME ALIVE BTW AND GAVE US AN ENTIRE EPISODE OF SOME WEIRD WORM FRAGMENT

Funny how it started off as a series where every girl character was attracted to Finn, and then somehow ended where the fan base only cares about the one lesbian relationship in the series.

This video forgot about the deep philosophical questions the show asks that leaves you feeling empty and in the constant state of existential crisis at the end of most episodes
Something tells me, potentially, maybe, jello has a slight distaste for Adventure time
When you realize how uncool you've become because you still use "XD"
This video really feels like it’s made by someone who watches the first season and then read the rest on Wikipedia Cuz I think I can count on one hand how many fart jokes and vomit jokes are in the show And the idea that the lingo is there to be “hip” instead of literally just being a stylistic choice is just bad faith I get this is satire but it’s different from everything else it legit just feels like jello wanted to shit in the show To anyone out there thank you for listening to me complain about a satirical video from 7 years ago
And yet it remains one of the most influential animated shows of all time with mtiple spin-offs to accompany it. Crazy how misunderstanding a show can make you miss the point completely.
I mean, Adventure Time is sometimes deeper than you give it credit for here. But I can't argue with the arm thing. That was bullshit.
