she enjoys many Past Times and has managed to find a way to incorporate many of them into her work and everyday life she loves to be creative and encourages everyone to explore their imagination and she is this week's someone you should know I like to work at the library Tracy Jala not only likes to work at the library but she also enjoys exploring her Norwegian Heritage language music puppets love of dogs and so much more while working her way up to her current position as the head of youth ser
vices at bismar Veterans Memorial Public Library Tracy found ways to share those pastimes with others I'm very lucky that I've been able to pursue a lot of my interests that come from the heart and and be able to incorporate them in ways that I can it started with her practicum at bismar Public Library when she volunteered in the children's Department I've always loved puppets and so I got to help them with their puppet shows during the summer and I just loved it I have my own little collection
of puppets and like doing voices and stuff I can't wait to hear the stories today I can't wait to hear them either and we might have some puppet friends who help tell the stories as they usually do and it's one of her favorite parts of the job I love being behind the scenes and experiencing the kids responding to the puppets in in a real way something Tracy loves even more than her puppets are her two dogs so she decided why not bring her love of dogs to the library as well I have embraced this
idea of bringing dogs into the library for our bark program which is bismar animals reading with kids and so I get to enjoy my love of dogs here too at the library and we can't forget the main reason most people visit the library and that's for the books Tracy CES people's interest and curiosity and she loves to help readers explore their passions it's so wonderful to see what a a really strong tradition that is in so many families to come in and take a book off the shelf and sit down together a
nd read it when she's not working at the library Tracy manages to pack in even more of her pastimes including reading Star Wars music and travel I got to live in Norway for a year and I got to live in Scotland for a year and those were such great experiences and I still love to go explore new places whenever I can and she takes whatever she can to share with all of her friends at the bismar Veterans Memorial Public Library which is what makes Tracy jhala someone you should know reporting for KX
