hello everyone and welcome to another quick amends
video this time we're going back to 2011 for the movie source code that is directed by Duncan Jones
and stars Jake Gyllenhaal before we go any further please subscribe and hit the notification bell so
you won't miss when a video is uploaded this is a time travel movie with a twist in this case
there's an experiment being done by the US military anyway let's get right into it the movie
starts with a train traveling to Chicago captain Colter
Stevens wakes up on a train sitting across
from Christina whom he doesn't recognize but who keeps calling him Sean he goes into the bathroom
and looks at his reflection in the mirror and he doesn't recognize the person he sees he begins
freaking out wondering where he is when at this time the train blows up killing everybody on board
he wakes up again this time in a dingy lipped cockpit and he speaking to a F was Captain Goodwin
and she wants to know if he found out who blew up the train an
d he is still a bit confused so he's
trying to find out what's going on and she helps him recall some information and she tells him he
has to go back he has 8 minutes to trend figure out who set the bomb and who the bomber is so
he is sent back again once again he's on a train riding with Christina this time he tries to see if
there's anybody suspicious getting off the train under stuff before Chicago but he doesn't notice
anything he finds the bomb hidden in a ventilation shaft in the bath
room but he doesn't know how to
disarm it he walks a man looking for anybody that was acting suspicious but he doesn't see anyone
and the train and blowing up once again when he snaps back forward again this time he demands to
be given a proper briefing and she gets permission from dr. Rutledge who's the inventor of the source
code to tell him more and she lets him know now when he goes back he is Shawn Francis and that
there has been a series of bombings and he's going back to try and find
Obama because many lives
are at stake and then he is snapped back and once again he's with Christina on the train Stephen
sees a man who's acting suspicious she follows him when a man gets off the train Stephens convinces
Christina to get off the train to stretch their legs at which point he confronts the man and tries
to get a man's cell phone from him because the bomb is using a cell phone to block the train
but as he's doing that the train left and you can see that a train blows up and
so that was not
the man he falls on the tracks and he's hit by an oncoming train and then he snapped back this time
when he gets back you can see that the cockpit is cold and he and captain Goodwin I have in trouble
contacting each other and you can see that his life signs drop in but he's able to jury-rig
something in the cockpit to gain power back the first person he's able to contact his doctor
Rutledge and he demands to know what's going on from him and dr. Rutledge explains to him how
this
works what school works and he also tells him that the bombing earlier today killed everybody on
the train but there's another bomb in this city of Chicago that's a dirty bomb that Obama is
going to set off in a couple of hours he tells them but this time he was able to save Christina
because she got off the train before it blew up but they checked and they said that she was one
of the passengers that died they tell him where there's a gun on the train that he can use if he
has to and
they send him back once again he's on the train with Christina this time when he goes
back he tries to go and get the gun that has been told about but he gets caught and he gets chained
to a rail and the train blows up killing both him and Christina when he comes forward this time dr.
Rutledge is Foster telling the truth that his body is dead and only a part of his brain is still
alive and he uses his father's words a recording of his father to get him to go back dr. rutledge
promises him
that he will let him die if he completes this mission so he spends the next few
times jumping back and forth without any success and finally dr. Rutledge tells him everybody's
tired but we all have to keep trying so he goes back again this time when he goes back the first
thing he does he goes and get the gun then he goes to the bomb that's in the bathroom and this arm
said by pulling out the cell phone then he looks in the phone's call history and makes a phone call
to the last number that
came in to the phone when he comes into the bathroom he sees a man in his
cell and he soon said that's the man who's the bomber so he goes to him but it's the wrong man
so he gets off the train and he's looking for anyone suspicious he sees a man who gets off
the train and step back and shows something on the train and leaves so when he goes and see what
the man show down it was a wallet he gets dropped in the train when the Train begins to move and
he gets the door open and jumps out he f
ollows the Obama to a white van and he forces him to open
the van when he goes inside he seized a dirty bomb inside the bomber manages to get the drop on him
when Christina comes and distracts him and Obama kills both of them as he's dying he sees the train
explode the bomber had a backup cell phone on his bomb when he gets back to the original timeline
he tells them the Bombers name the fact that he's driving a white van and the plate number and they
are able to arrest him he knows that dr
. rutledge has no intention of letting him die so he talks
Captain Goodwin into letting him go back one more time to try and save the people on the train and
she promises to and she will let him die at the end of the eight minutes this time when he goes
but he goes and he takes out the two cell phones from the bomb he then steals a pair of handcuffs
and goes to the bomber and handcuffs him he then calls the police and tells them where to find a
bomb on the train and where to find the van wi
th a dirty bomb in it back in the original timeline
captain Goodwin allows him to die after the eight minutes are complete in the new timeline he sends
captain Goodwin an email message telling her that they succeeded in stopping the bombing on the
train and a dirty bomb and telling her that swore score worked better than they believed
that it not only stopped the bombing but it created a new world he also tells her that he
knows they have captain Stevens they're waiting for a mission and th
at she should tell him that
everything's going to be okay in this movie the object was not to go back and change the past but
to go back and gain information that would allow them to prevent a future event from occurring but
in going back captain Stevens was able to create a new timeline at least twice the first time was
when he got Christina and that other gentlemen off the train and the Train still exploded but
because they lived that created a new timeline and the second time was when at
the end he
was able to stop the train from blowing up that also created a new timeline every other
attempt resulted in the train blowing up and killing everybody so none of those created any
new timelines this was a very good movie and the premise was pretty original for time travel anyway
