r that i'm going to edit an  interview and then i'm going to crash because i go through all my income tax stuff today and it's  been a it's been a big day but i'm very excited for this stream it's good times it's good times i  really like your comments reviews on music since i don't know anything so it's really interesting the  hilda musician can hear that account well thank you in qq613 i appreciate that i'm looking forward  to hearing what jhl has been up to over these last little while you kn
ow again i like i love i liked  mojito mojito was a really great single for sure i've got nothing but love for mojito um nothing  but love for it um but it'll be cool to see what he's done here and this appears to be yeah  it's really well received like one million views in four hours and apparently on billy  billy and stuff it's just absolutely bananas which is which makes sense you know people keep  telling me that um people keep telling me that uh you know the audience for joe chow and other
people like that is much much bigger on other websites which is which is which is cool yeah  i'm just going to take some water and just i'm also gonna still kind of treat this as like a  typical review okay so we'll do a proper review so yeah just because i know that if i don't do  the song justice i'm going to get flamed but also i care about it you know we will eventually go  through every single one of jhl's studio albums in these album live streams with the seventh  one i think next month w
e've just done the sixth um the nocturne one but anyways we're good  to go it is ten o'clock it's ten o'clock excellent i'm going to unpin that message  thanks it is the jay chow review shall now begin sub shooters my name is logan aka spiderhands  and welcome to the beginning of an sp rex live stream where today we've decided to start it  with uh a review of jay chow's latest single titled greatest works of art  um we have the video here again shown by k as well as a lot of other  people today
i've had a lot of other people uh remind me gently that he is reviewing or  releasing a track today um we are going to be listening through this track from start to  finish and uh we're going to hear what we think um obviously this is a live stream uh if you guys  have any questions about the music or anything what's up robin woo how you doing feel free to  to to let me know if you have any questions about music in the chat i'll do my best to answer them  but i'm going to be treating this like a
typical review and then after this we'll go we'll go  do the memes so yeah let's do this let's go is this in good quality i just want  to make sure this is in like 1080p um i believe that this is fine something's worried about the  quality of this i'm gonna just like double check that this is good okay  i'm gonna maybe go to the youtube link go through youtube we'll see if  we can get away with that okay um is that going to be okay or is it going to be hang  on no that'll be really that'll be r
eally loud for you guys actually that'll be really loud for you  guys so i'm going to go off of firefox we'll go to so go to google chrome where i've got it sorted  out so that we can actually just have it um sorted i'm just going to double check the volume mixer  here yep google chrome is at full so that can't happen um yep we're good let's begin actually  hang on so i make sure that's even as well there we go yeah where was it where is it it was  like here right let's do this let's go instant
folly you know instant  cinematic vibe to this it's know what i expected but then again it's  also what i expected because for jay chao this is a huge moment for him director  and artiste artiste jay chao wild man dude there is an instant expression of the  intensity and dedication jhl has to his craft both in terms of his you know his technique  there's piano to make his phenomenal but also the the complexity arrangement and just  the way he's staggering that bass line to that second half of th
at just because he knows he needs  to continue to develop it even if he's got the world in the palm of his hand oh we're going  to change the roboto kind of vibe to it dude that slaps i was not expecting us to go away  from the piano line i understand that we've gone to a different section now so it was nice to  have that new sort of neoclassical vibe to it but to have the strings and the bass and  everything coming like this is very fresh sounding i still have a grinch performance as  well you
can tell the strings there um there's a difference between the perceived  loudness of them and and what you need dynamic range especially in contemporary  production with how tight the mixing is hang on and we have uh we  have closed captions don't we subtitles english that's very loud that's very  big though can i like make them smaller though can i make them smaller or is this  going to be an absolute nightmare um i don't know i don't know can we just do it  by discord i think they were normal
via discord we're up to 110 right are they normal via this yeah why is discord being totally chill with  the subtitles see how this is way smaller i don't know i don't know many it's interesting that he's using french  there the pigeon was still on his face i like the themes of timetable they're fantastic again true to form he he loves his flow his  rapping in the verses and there's some clean sort of head voice he just voicing mixing up  going on the section along with an accordion some more c
ontemporary elements i i like the  that parisian vibe to it it's very sophisticated this is a very unusual style for  jay i haven't really heard jason like this i'm not sure whether this is  indication that his voice has changed or what but he does sound because i've listened  up until the sixth album and then obviously um mojito it there is a noticeable change to the  texture and timer of his voice but nonetheless he holds pitch well and i think it's still  nonetheless a constant performance wh
at was that line just before if we go back there  all the glamorous world blooms from loneliness so is he saying that you have to be alone in order  to really understand in order to be beautiful you know to understand the beauty of it  because you're otherwise too distracted again the the combination of that sort of um the nylon string sort of classical kind  of flamenco kind of guitar those those um what kind of scales are they melodic minor  the harmonic minors there some interesting sort of r
aunchiness to it though it's got a  instead of sexiness to it you know what i mean excellent call and response  here great sense of humor is this the most competent performance on  the piano i've heard from jai chan quite a while i know people have been wanting me  to check out the secret but this is very dude what a what a separation i suppose from  what we've had with these sort of traffic beats with the guitar and the the accordion and and  and the strings and everything it's it's such a chan
ge in vibe there i assume it's mostly a  stylistic thing to suit the the theme or the plot is yeah i mean i think jacob before mentioned how  um the flow of this what track is so divine from jai chao um i like the way that he is  rapping there the words are coming through clearly to be really honest with you to anyone  watching this i've never really had any massive complaints about the way that jhl wraps i  mean i've heard people talk about him being like a mumble rapper and stuff like that  or
that he can't speak properly or clearly part of it may be because i'm not actually  that familiar with the language so for me personally when i listen to something like this  i'm like you know it sounds like the words are coming through clearly and i can understand how  that phrase you know there's clear repetition of these rhythms and melodies here for effect  you know it's clearly you clearly have someone who is using their decades of experience to craft  a piece of music that is um you know
i think that this is a step in the right direction for jay  i'm not going to pretend that's the the most beloved my favorite song from jay but at the same  time i can appreciate the effort that's put in still not again his clean vocals i can tell have  changed a little bit i still like them i still think jay is a great singer and i think that  the vocal melodies and harmonies he's choosing to put in here fit the song well as well as the  texture and coloration of the various instruments the lyri
cs are creative as well again i'm not i'm not familiar with these  approaches to drops and choruses uh and jay's music primarily because i don't think i've  listened to his music from like the early 2010s to late twenty late 2000's early 2010s where a lot of  that was like popular idiom and sort of trap and stuff like that and it carried over to a lot of  different genres of music um it's it's great that we have those more contemporary sort of elements  within the mix i think jay is doing a good
job of encouraging people who are more familiar with  those contemporary sort of styles of like going to drops and choruses and stuff i like how i was  trying to appeal to them was also i respecting the sensibilities of people who appreciate his earlier  work with these piano lines and these interesting really colorful rich arrangements with the strings  just going to check something real quick are we still going are we still going do we still have  like live streaming we do have live streaming
that's good you can do it youtube's gonna  bust it out youtube's gonna bust it out dudes youtube's gonna quit it you youtube's nearly i  swear youtube's like realizing that i'm using the content from this um we could be in trouble  boys and girls oh no did we get out in time we got out in time we did we got  out in time we managed to avoid it we managed to get there it's all good let's let's  talk for a moment let's talk for a moment um wow wow okay yeah yeah yeah that we got  really lucky then
like i swear like look look i'll bring it over see  that heads up we've detected audio um i don't we're detected copyrighted audio  and video on your stream so we almost ran out of luck we almost ran out of luck guys we  we did well though we managed to avoid it okay um so yeah let's talk about this tracker  um let's do the big conclusion to my review of aj charles greatest works of arc  um what did you guys think of the song what do you think about the song let let us let let us know you know
like let us  know what you think i'm gonna give my thoughts now um primarily because i feel like that's an  important thing for us to talk about you know potentially anyways um for me you know for me when  i listen through this track by jhl and i'll go i'll go back to um here oh no stop i'm  not gonna is there like oh here we go for me um can i go here yo make myself big hang  on for me as a music reviewer obviously we're spending a lot of time with jay understanding  himself as a musician and h
is journey from his very first self-titled album to um you  know fantasy and all through that up until um ah it's it's just up until mojito is most recent  stuff i feel that jay chow has personally kept a consistent level of quality there i know that  there will be people who maybe disagree with that a lot of people have told me that his first one  to six um albums are the strongest and there's others who disagree with that they'll say hey  jhl's um you know jhl's seventh and and eighth and nint
h are great and there'll be some who  think that everything that jhl makes is fantastic for me though as a human being as someone who has  listened to his music i think that the story is about i mean like if i skimp through it and kind  of like kind of get a feel for the story you know just so i can feel out you to know darling  his mustache the pizzas is a freely roaring chinese painting um i'll make it big i  don't actually know if you can see that um i don't know what the song is necessarily
about  part of it i suppose is because i was listening to the track and reviewing everything was trying not  to pay too much attention to reading the story in case i missed anything um all the glamour in this  world um working here blooms loneliness you know a garden blanket in sunshine he goes  into this studies shapes of color decade of madness the king of music the  world bows to my symphony so for me i think that this the song is potentially about  jay's kind of look back on his own career a
nd what he's managed to accomplish and his  views on artwork and trying to find beauty in it and trying to sort of accept himself for who  he is and appreciating what's out there and trying to not over complicate it  it i think that for jay you know is there anything else here you  know like i don't need any framing sunrise is at the impressionist harbor the  lawn is cheering for a drizzle of rain you know he then fell in love to conundrum name  bitterness i i think it's someone maybe falling ou
t of touch with their own music  or their own creativity and it's slowly corrupting them i'm not sure there's all these  ways i want to interpret it you guys can let me know more about what you think it's about that  that's my interpretation of what this track is about um with with with the vocals that jay  has on here on display i think that for jay he is a great singer who had clearly has  his vocal technique sorted he's comfortable within his vocal range there was a nice little  bit of orname
ntation some legato and vibrato passages which sounded lovely um i think that the  harmonies worked really well and and clearly he's still absolutely where he needs to be with his  rapping i mean his rapping is utterly sensational um i actually will think he's continued to  improve on that front the flow was really precise in this one and it was already getting  really good among you know like the fifth and sixth albums but like for jho i think this is  where he needs to be in order to do the re
st of the album to a stage where i think people  are going to be happy with um again i probably have more of an appreciation for jhl is wrapping  with a more native understanding of the language but but nonetheless i think that jay chow's  rapping is on point i there were some bits in there where jay chow was in the center of the  field and again as i mentioned his clean vocals they were a little bit more vulnerable and fragile  than what i'm used to and i think part of that is potentially the t
he difficulties of jhl experience  medically in the early 2010s um but at the same time i i think that he managed to handle it and  i think that honestly like even if your vocals um maybe if your your vocals will change  over time because you as a human being age i don't think that he's gotten he's a bad  singer or anything like that i i think that he's got great technique but it i think he  the vulnerability that was shown i think in some of the parts of the vocal moments maybe  were emblematic
of his own experiences in his life as a musician but also maybe it was just  textually and tonally appropriate to the song um you can let me know what you think about  it the structure of this track was splendid i liked the piano centered sections before i  suppose we traveled in time and went places i loved the main themes there with the verses and  choruses and such i liked the sense of humor or like the interaction between the two pianists when  they did the call and response thing and how t
hey eventually merged together as if their two styles  were becoming one or as if they were finding a common sense of affiliation there maybe the second  maybe the second pianist that wasn't jai chao needed jay chow to help him find the love for  music again um i i think that having those piano interludes and among the verses and choruses  helped expand the story in the world that jhl was trying to show and as the director and the artist  i think jhl nailed it i'm not sure if that quality is goi
ng to continue for the rest of the album  but i sure hope so and i i i am very sure that no matter how this track sort of relates to the  others the the album is going to be a strong one um the instrumental performances um from the  strings the accordions the bass the drums you know the guitar parts and everything else  in there i mean i i know there was some sort of electronic trap drums in there as well i i  a lot of it harks back to jhl's earlier stuff i think he's typically been very piano c
entered the  guitar i don't think you could have rolled with your traditional major minor scale so i'm glad  that he was working with some more exotic scales he had that kind of parisian european kind  of vibe to that sense of sophistication and juno there that i think um was absolutely  what was required in order to sell both both the the audio visual experience but also  the story that jhl was trying to handle there and it's not an easy thing you know you  know like paris and france and love a
nd and and art and all that is it's not an easy  thing to to do without it being really cheesy but we managed to avoid that somehow i think the  glitz and the glamour that was shown in the video did get captured somewhat by the music although  i feel like if you listen to the song by itself it would be a different experience i think  that if you listen to the song by itself you would have less of you'd have a much  more i think a much more peaceful time but the blessing and the curse of watching
a  music video is that you are absorbed with with the entirety of it so sometimes it can be bigger  than the sum of the individual parts but um yeah the motifs that were shown were very caring and  friendly and loving and passionate and there was some sadness occasionally but jhl managed to meet  her i think so that it could not only appeal to a wider audience but also so that it was true to  him you know and i think that jerry chow does want to explore bigger topics like this and i hope he  co
ntinues to do that within the rest of his album and finally the recording mixing and mastering was  absolutely sensational now i've got nothing but love for the post-production here it's very i was  it was ready for release you could not have done a single thing to change the eq the serial cueing  you know the panning of it you know the effects change the different instruments there nothing was  over processed which i really appreciate here in this day and age it's very tempting potentially to
want to kind of neuter and sterilize the musical performance but for jay here you really just have  someone who understood the importance of of um how do i say this the importance of keeping it natural  and i think that if you tried to make it to electronic it would have ruined the nuance of the  different instruments within the max the limiting compression was actually starting as i mentioned  earlier the dynamic range of the track was was clear and evident and we have a musician here who  i th
ink even with i think this was his 15th album i'm not mistaken um he's got a lot of albums  anyways like that i i have a feeling that um i think this is where he wants to be and i'm  really glad that jhl has had the support that he's had you know because i think that it can be kind  of scary releasing an album you know especially if you have had a few years away from it you know  i think that's part of why tracks like mojito were put out because he was testing the waters  to see if there was sto
red demand for it but he's still got it and there we  go that's basically my review yeah excellent we're back thank you there was a review of jay charles track hang on what am i doing here i'm keeping pressing the same button track and i'm small again good and what was it greatest i survived thank you for watching so what did you guys think let's have a look  through it what did you think let's have a look through it not that good says slow motion  not that good can't wait the new album release
his love story 888 to be honest a bit cliched  for me fair enough i can understand these points i'm not going to pretend for a moment that it's  my favorite jay chao song but i can nonetheless appreciate especially considering that a lot  of artists change and like the space of um um i think that a lot of artists  change over the course of 20 um 20 years i think that um you're going to  inevitably get a situation where um you'll have people that kind of stray from their  path and for jay chao to
still be hearkening back some missouri material on this i think is a  really great move i think it's really clever um it's familiar it's familiar j style new music  element story etc but not too innovative or fresh i would agree with that you want to see i i'd  agree with that um i i don't think that jhl was trying to reinvent the wheel with us um i  think that that's a totally reasonable thing um i think that if people had  tried to completely like um fda child had tried to completely move awa
y from  his previous material and go in a completely different direction i think that there would  have been people who were kind of upset about it um i think there would have been people who are  very very upset about it primarily because it's okay shin you die don't worry but it's all good  yeah we're just vibing this uh this video will go up after this we managed to avoid the copyright  strike which was good um yeah but can i understand that he's been writing songs over 20 years yeah  yeah we
ll i mean like i i'm just happy that he's putting more stuff i'm happy that he's happy  with his with music you know um yep i'd agree it's still the same jotel's rap it's still his  kind of wheelhouse and he's very comfortable with it and i think that's that's exactly  what people want from jhl is it's more of um yeah i get you the piano cost one million dollars  well that wouldn't surprise me to be honest it was a very pretty piano wasn't it um i think  he's paying tribute to all the greatest a
rtists including himself his tribute to mender pop i  i i'd agree with that i i think so i i think that um for sure it can be seen that way i would  honestly probably need someone to like print out the lyrics for me so that i could read through it  in person because i didn't want to like just spend 20 minutes reading through them my own time but  i can agree with that i i'm if that is the case then that's awesome i think it is better than  mojito's best work in recent years at first it sounds st
range but it's better the more  you listen to it i mean tongan to be fair um i still like the stuff and his fourth and fifth  albums more i i still like that more than this i think for me i had heard enough of jay chow by  the by this the fifth and sixth albums to kind of get a great gauge of his range i suppose and  with with his first half of his career and for me i can see a lot of parallels between those songs  and and this one i think the main difference is that just the technology has impr
oved where the  mix and this track sounds a little bit crisper and i i think that jhl's voice has changed a  little bit because he's gotten older you know softer and quieter yeah absolutely  that's the big change for me but i i thought about and i thought who am i to  say that jay chow should sing differently he still understands the importance of  having catchy memorable vocal melodies it's still a track where it's like yeah okay um  there's nothing musically wrong with it it's great i and i i
think that the double-edged sword of  wanting a musician to to do something differently um is that you can sometimes take something  really good but then have to sacrifice something along the way um he lists all the  easter eggs in the music video that's cool i see that's the thing you guys um you guys can  you guys what easter eggs are in this video what easter eggs are in this video because  i don't know like again i i think also it's worth remembering that as someone who lives in new  zealand
at the bottom of the world i haven't grown up with jai chao so you guys are having like a  really huge experience that's very unique to to you for me it's unique i suppose to me because  i'm not as familiar with him but i'm nonetheless excited at the same time you know you know  what i mean um it already has 60 million views um yeah i i would i would agree with that i mean  on upon first listen i i think that another thing to remember as well and i'll keep this brief is  that as a professional
music reviewer and i'm sure everyone's probably sick of hearing me say it  but as a professional music reviewer i listen to music every day and i think that for jhl this is  absolutely phenomenal i i've heard i've i've heard a lot of songs maybe just because i'm constantly  experienced to music from all over the world i'm not like a super duper over the moon vibrant  and and like like like oh i don't know how to say it because like i'm i suppose i'm calmly  i am calmly appreciative it you know i
suppose that's the thing and people have been like yo i  don't think you're listening enough because it's not that it's that i'm analyzing it as i go along  i've developed the ability to analyze it as i go i i won't recognize the easter eggs  because of the fact that i don't know that i don't know the references  because i'm not as familiar you know um but yeah it's it's all good um jay also  uploaded a creation documentary of the song on this channel it would be great if you can take  a look a
t that good vibes it might be his last um yeah shiny absolutely yeah it got copyrighted  basically if you don't see a live stream on the channel it means a golf copyrighted and it means  i have to like upload it again and yeah so that needs to be uploaded i've gotten my income tax  stuff done today as well as a whole bunch of other stuff so i will try i'm not exhausted  or tired because of it it's just been i've been doing taxes today and taxes take a lot  of effort you know i've got to pay a lo
t of tax next year because i made too much money to  me too much i didn't pay myself enough on wages so i'm going to pay myself away more wages next  time um we could definitely do that i mean like we go go here we go to youtube um where is it i go  here and i go we no no we go wee yay go jade ciao we got got jhl here awesome um no no no we're not  gonna do that again oh where is it is it this one hey is that gonna be really loud for you guys  though i don't want that to be really loud i suppose
this is potentially it it's all james i go why why are the subtitles so  big for me why are the subtitles so big for me when i use chrome i feel like such a boomer  dude i feel like such a boomer you know how many times okay i'll tell you what the volume is good not too loud at all yeah i've been trying to get the volume better  in these live streams eh um oh no no not that one i keep forgetting which which chrome  tab i've got open dude it's an absolute mess it's an absolute mess it's not that
one no it's  that one no that's not that one dude i am losing my mind there we go cool we're fine now i i  figure we're here of course we're here um i don't think now we're not lost it's fine it's  okay we could potentially look at this sometimes are we good i'll watch this on my  own time but thank you for that okay i'll watch this in my own time okay what  i'm gonna do then um is we are going to i will watch the documentary tomorrow while  eating breakfast so we don't get copyright strikes i'
m gonna change the title  of the video so that people don't think we're reviewing  jhal for the whole live stream yeah i'm just gonna change the title of this live  stream just so that people don't think that we're gonna be reviewing jhl because we've got to do  memes you see we got to do memes now okay um i'll go then there we go then your musical  memes so just thank you to everyone who tuned in to watch the jai chao stuff we're gonna be  looking at memes now okay we're gonna be looking at mem
es now for anyone who is interested in the  slightest we have uh the meme station stuff okay okay thanks for watching the live stream review we are now on to the meme  review part of the live stream stay cool traders just in case people are like but i thought  we were reviewing jay chao you know so that people understand that we're doing  this now so yeah let's go to meme station uh we uh we've got so many memes to do guys so  many memes oh wait i was supposed to like look back through this stuf
f right um tong gang  says i think watching the mv was listening to the song as a major distraction when i just  listened with my headphones minus the envy it sounds different and more fantastic overall a very  good song yeah i get it i mean like i i completely vibe with the fact that listen to something  through headphones versus like without the um you know versus with the video  they're two different experiences if i level with you completely and i promise you  this i would probably have enjo
yed the um i would probably have enjoyed it the exact amount of time  or the exact amount regardless of whether or not there was a video i've been doing these reviews  for a couple of years and when i review music it's more like i don't know how to say  this i i can kind of remove myself from the video to a certain extent obviously in those  points where we just had the piano going from the two people that was that was fine you know  that was a vibe um you know that's where you have to take to p
ay attention because  of course you have a situation where um you know i want to i want to cover up the amount  of you because i know that we're going to list for you um but yeah it's it's cool i mean i get it  um i try i just want to say just before i continue i did legitimately try my best to give this a  genuine review i had my full focus on it so yeah um just because people have been telling me that i  haven't been paying enough attention or listening closely enough absolutely have um everyo
ne will  say that is not as good as the one it was before but years later people will start saying  they're the best songs in the last decade wow that's a hot take you know that that is a  hot take dude it is a hot take to say that um to say that but i think that's actually true i i  think that people get their expectations up and then what happens is that when their expectations  aren't met it's okay shanita you take care okay you have a great day uh you can well i'll make  sure that um this is
uploaded for with for um the channel if it just gets taken down i'll upload it  as soon as possible better we upload as possible but um yeah i think people get the expectations up  and then when they aren't met they're disappointed and angry and bitter about it and then they  slowly recover from that and appreciate it yeah um yeah it's good to see jacob again um but tom  gl i teared up a bit when listening to it because it was so familiar starting with secret tune  how i loved his works all the
se years yeah i'm glad that people have been supporting him but it's  meme time meme time okay it's meme time meme time now if you guys want to submit musical memes  because this is usually like a meme reaction channel if you want to submit some memes you got  to go to the discord there's a link in the discord in the description of this live stream okay  we're going to start with some memes from jacob memes from jacob um yeah are  we good here wow dude wow stop why is that so loud jacob jacob wh

guy's using hacks man like how does the parrot expect  a human being to keep up with his prowess this is just like what do you even do at this  point it's like doing like the first three yoga steps and then suddenly becoming a yogi  like it's not how it works right headbang dude did the guys i've gotta really i've  got a headache now semi circle low okay i don't need a nick anyways body roll dude  the guy's crumping it up what counterclockwise circle that's wild dude isn't that just  like revers

87 however it was immediately banned from mokarati competitions due  to its violent nature which is why once again i urge you to use caution step one is to make a  fist ensuring that your thumb is on the outside of your fingers if it is on the inside it can  break your thumb during impact do this with both hands you now want to place your fists halfway  between your chest and your hip once you're at this point move them slowly from side to side  and eventually the momentum will end up with you o
h no oh no oh jacob jacob jacob that's illegal that was a good meme i'm liking these  though jacob they're great memes one of the biggest meme in  2021 was also mr john cena who sung a song in chinese and people just  say cena's been chilling all right let's do it sorry can we can we do this again  i i i want to go back a little bit aj all right that was the thing no idea dude no idea but it's good fun dude it's good fun biggest meme was who sang  a song in chinese and people just say and that b
ing the bin chilling  there's there's remixes of it now it's like it's it's because he's like an actor  and he's acting in a like a short form video and he's got an ice cream and i don't even  know how he came to the conclusion that this is this is something he should be doing stop oh dude this is dog oh okay i did the problem is that i just said dope as soon as  just he was just doing some twerking on the screen the the production on this is fire though i much prefer this to the acapella  versi
on that we had before i love can we go back can we go can we appreciate the the maniacal  nature of what we have on the screen right now this guy is like why am i  being paid to watch him do this i don't like the fact that he licks his ice cream and he just stares at you in  the camera it's so creepy dude i i can't do that again jacob that was too  much dude i think that nearly broke me i almost i almost i almost  passed out from that one that okay we've got uh the next one from from  jacob than

great name is the meme that it's broken  english is that it say don't let i mean like the melody here  sounds phenomenal and i like the syllable phrasing of it is that the joke i love i love this i i love the  fact that we've labeled the keys i love the fact that we're  labeled the keys dude i love everything about this actually there's  always little easter eggs within here i feel like i'm gonna have an aneurysm  and i'm i'm not joking my brain is feeling really strange after watching that  joh

the first one was really cool  thank you kenji love you though what is this one this is good fun this is good fun i'm sure this  would be intimately more like relatable or like this would probably hit twice as hard if you're  familiar with the musicians although to be fair i'm learning a lot about these musicians from  the the the impersonations and i don't know if that's necessarily a good thing because  that guy there right when i see his face now you know he's got a bombastic  nature to his v
oice you know um i don't know how to describe it it's such an incredible impersonation of  a man i've never heard before he's a very pretty man isn't he that guy looks like he writes music that  slaps man he kind of reminds me of um what's the name of the dude not me canyon he  makes like um he makes scary youtube videos um like the guy who wrote that out of hell  this guy kind of reminds me of him a little bit that's right it's great it's fun again like i think if  you understood the musicians
like naturally like if you're familiar with their work you'd  probably have a better kind of understanding of who they are and why they're meaning  like they are um but yeah it's good so far another one with 23 oh this will be  a spicy one oh because this is like um deb yeah dalla bingaba is one of those songs  where like um it's quite big uh zhou shin uh he's easy he's a talented man i see anime  characters we know we're off to a good start okay we got we got breath of the wild we just  got bre

ally  those notes they tackle more proficiently now you don't have to be a member to understand the depth of my dilemma the  two elements of me favor two different keys thus the rift betwixt my fingers and  my tenor i like nothing more oh i get it yeah exactly i get it so it's just a problem with  this vocal range isn't it and they've been limited i like playing in f major but i like singing larynx should give in to their demands  i won't be forced to compromise my art and so i'll just keep play

In fact, these lyrics and MV introduce the best artists and their works in the past two centuries, such as Margaret's apple, Dali's melting clock, lobster phone, Monet's water lily, Van Gogh's starry sky, Matisse's coast, Chang Yu's woman and thigh, Chinese writer Xu Zhimo, etc. every lyric introduces the works. The person who played the piano with Jay was Langlang, one of the best pianists in the world. The violin was played by another famous violinist, the rapping beats were complex, in the beginning the piano melody was from his Movie Secret, he played the melody to travel through time, this mv showed that he played the "travel melody" to travel back to see those best artists.

I like the conclusion you make.👍

oh no, I missed the live show for last album. but glad to see the reaction for the new song~

Just yesterday, after Jay Chou's song was released, a large number of Chinese netizens began to discuss the artists in the song. What a great man can improve the public's artistic appreciation with one song.

@lachousalle31

This song makes me feel so many emotions at once. I don't know if any song has ever made me feel like that. I'm still trying to process how I feel. Sadness, excitement, hope, a sense of an ending and eternity at the same time. Jesus... this song is a masterpiece. I think I need a therapist. Leave it up to Jay Chou to cause someone's brain to go haywire with just one song.

In Jay Chou's recent songs like this one and songs from recent albums, his voice just isn't mixed in as loudly. I think this is intentional and doesn't have as much to do with him "losing his voice" or whatever people are saying. I think that Jay just wants people to hear his compositions and all of the instrumental parts rather than his voice overpowering the other instruments. He can still sing amazingly well. Use songs like Rhythm Of The Rain and I Truly Believe as evidence of this. He has powerful vocals in both of those songs.

13 : 45 - yes, I do think that Jay's voice has changed too, sounds coarser. While this song does resembles some of his songs from his early days, he do sound different (not because of the song but his voice).

The MV of this song and the artists and works in the lyrics are worth savoring carefully!

@Joey818Lin

Did u notice how Jay is finally doing trap rap ? The hi hats and the beat and the triplets flow is so modern, and yet it sits on top an atmosphere of classical instruments, really good to see Jay improve his rapping so much

In the beginning, the building where Jay Chou played the piano was the Ladies’ department store in Paris, the Samaritan department store. Jay Chou wanted to go back to the past by playing Secret to find some great works in various fields (there are columns on the back of the notebook, they are Rene .Margaret, Dali, Sanyu (played by Du Ge), Monet, Xu Zhimo and ???), and the MV and lyrics also echo each other, and they appear one by one in the order of the characters in the notebook. The red-nosed clown in the restaurant is Echoing Rene, because Rene has a famous painting called "Son of Man", which uses a green apple to cover the face of the protagonist in the painting, Jay Chou combined magic to turn his red ball into a green apple, not a pipe of a pipe and a pigeon on his face Not flying away is describing Rene's works, and the second classic painting of Dalí with a beard appears in the MV of Bedside Stories. Dalí is a surrealist painter. In the paintings, some metal or hard substances can be seen to become soft. With a loose appearance, Jay Chou used the magic of spoon-bending to express his inspiration. He lent it to Dali, don't have to pay it back, but humorously, the lobster phone is Dali's famous sculpture. And Sanyu played by Brother Du is a French-Chinese painter. The MV is painting "Blue and White Pots and Chrysanthemums", but Jay Chou also used magic to make the flowers bloom more densely, which startled Sanyu. So I gave him a painting. Lang Lang should have also traveled back from the department store by a time traveler, and more than once, because he and Sanyu seemed to know each other well, maybe he knew that Jay Chou was the representative of the piano, and wanted to go back and play the piano with him. Later, Jay Chou invited Monet to help him paint portraits. Monet had a series of paintings of water lilies. Jay Chou turned the lotus flowers on the wall into entities for him, which also incorporated magic techniques. By the way, the sunrise mentioned in the lyrics The impression is also Monet's painting. In addition, Monet asked him to talk about his impression of himself, which is exactly what he wanted to convey. He is the king of music. In the end, the note handed by Xu Zhimo read "Scales and Claws of Paris". "Scales and Claws of Paris" is Xu Zhimo's representative prose work, describing all kinds of life in Paris. When the round legs are used to describe his shock, Jay Chou's transformation of tea into coffee corresponds to Xu Zhimo's saying that "Paris will be less cute if there are no cafes". In the end, Jay Chou looked at the notebook and wondered who represented the piano. There were three question marks, and the answer should be Jay Chou. Back at the beginning, Jay Chou and his friends of the Lady's Department Store reviewed some records of this trip through time and space. Lang came out with a flashlight, his expression was like saying to Jay Chou, there is no need to go back to find the great representative of the piano, even you, you can't find it when you go back, because you are creating greatness...
