last April two suspects stole thousands of dollars worth of trading cards from big hit sports cards in Spanish Fort well the store owner now has Justice after a year-long investigation WKRG news5 Whitney libold find found out how law enforcement cracked this case this surveillance video was taken on April 25th 2023 two Mass suspects broke into big hit sports cards and left out the back with bags full of cards nearly one year later they have been caught during the investigation of the of the burg
laring and processing the the crime scene we were able to obtain some DNA um possible DNA evidence we sent off to the Alabama Department of forensic science so which is usually takes a good good bit of time we did get results back in November of a positive match to two different subjects those two subjects are Leon row and Cedric Vue they were both arrested in Iberville Parish Louisiana we spoke with the owner of the store Nathan Caraway who told News 5 he's relieved it feels awesome I'm just su
per glad obviously I don't think that we're going to get much in the way of any of the stuff that they stole from us back but it's nice to know that they're going to get some uh some justice now the owner also says that Vue and Rose stole over $100,000 worth of Pokemon cards Spanish fort police also say row and Vue are believed to be responsible for other similar SAR crimes around the southeast there were actually three in the Panhandle area Florida and one in Mississippi during about a month of
