First issue was that I lost my car document, which is solved I have new documents As Azerbaijan land border is closed I could not cross in to Azerbaijan We have two other options via Iran or Russia And I have decided to drive through Russia You maybe aware of the recent tensions between Georgia and Russia Therefore I applied for Russian visa via Russian consulate in Trabzon, Türkiye Which is located near to Georgia Unfortunately they denied my application I was told to apply from my own country

Which means I should go to Sweden to apply for the visa Russia does not have any official Embassy or Consulate in Georgia But Switzerland's Embassy processes and issues Russian visa here in Georgia And you must submit your application via a Visa Center I went to the Russian visa Center In order to increase my chances of getting Russian transit visa I was told to translate my European driving license along with my car documents This is called Shota Rustaveli Avenue, which is one of the main avenu

ready today at 4 PM It is good Today is 9th June 2023 around 4 'o clock PM Deadline when I can pick up translated documents After waiting 30 minutes finally I got my documents I hope when I apply with these documents on Monday my application is not rejected again Today is Monday 12th June 2023 the appoint time I got from Russian Visa Center I supposed to submit my visa application In the first floor there are clerks who checks your documents before submission They found an issue with the notary

I was asked to go back to notary office, I went to them they called each other the problem was solved When everything was ready for submission, I went to second floor the visa center Despite that I got an appointment time from them 12th June is a holiday in Russia I must go back to hotel and come back tomorrow I hope they help me without an appointment tomorrow Today is 13th June 2023 and finally I was able to submit my documents to Russian Visa Center Even today they asked me to make changes i

n my application They asked me to change visa date from 15th June to 22nd of June They need at least 5 working days to process the application They went through all documents carefully before accepting my application Fingers crossed and that, they approve my application this time Beside that I send an email to consular section of Russian Embassy I have explained my journey and request them to approve my visa application I hope this helps me in a positive way Until I get a response from the Russi
