This is a Midi recording played from my written Conductor's Score, using Finale V27, and Note Performer software for the orchestra sounds. There are percussion instruments missing, because my Percussion Map in Finale would not transpose the notes for Note Performer to recognize for play back. The only percussion instruments in this recording are Timpani and Glockenspiel. It is missing Crash Cymbals, Triangle, Tambourine, Snare Drum, and Bass Drum. Though it still sounds good!... Peace and Love! 🎼❤☮ Symphonic Dances is scheduled for it's first live orchestra performance sometime between Autumn 2024, and Spring 2025, depending on which concert date the orchestra decides to add it to their program. Very enjoyable! I particularly liked the Hungarian Dance near the end. It would be great to hear the piece with your full panoply of percussion instruments and with a troupe of live dancers. I'm curious whether your title was intended as a tribute to Rachmaninoff's last major work? Of course, the structure of your work is quite different from his.
