The #1 Mistake Travellers to India Make #HowToRock

I continuously see travellers to India making this mistake, and it's landing some of them in big trouble, especially female tourists. I'll tell you how not to make this mistake in India while walking through the most dangerous area of India for foreigners. Watch all my scammer and travel safety videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMhislZnB_6dUyfMSQE6whAkmvvfdPuFW. Where you stay in India and which hotel you choose is incredibly important. Paharganj in New Delhi is ground zero for touts, scammers, drugs, the red light area, and human trafficking in India. Yet many visitors to India continue to stay there, probably because most of the hotels in Delhi are in this location. The same goes for Colaba in Mumbai. I'll show you where to stay you can stay safe while in India and avoid all the bad things that are attracted to these touristy areas. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡ 1) SUBSCRIBE! โœ” Click https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlRock/?sub_confirmation=1 Then smash the BELL ICON so you don't miss a ๐Ÿ”ดlive stream or video. 2) TRAVELLING TO INDIA๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ? the number one mistake that foreigners make when they come to India is that they stay in the completely wrong area of an Indian city so today I'm in the worst possible place you can stay in all of India I'm gonna show you why it's so dangerous and also where you should stay when you're visiting an Indian city like Delhi or Mumbai now a reason a lot of foreigners and travelers stay in these bad areas especially of Delhi is because 90% of the hotels in Delhi appear and gunge so that's why people f
lock to these areas but you couldn't stay in a in a worse location and if you see my scam of videos you'll know why and these are all shot and mainly in central jelly and there are a number of reasons so firstly you're gonna come across scammers you're scammers know to come to this area to find foreigners and it's the same thing with touts they know to come here and try and sell you the rubbish and then you don't have many extra locals living he'll not local said I'm gonna take you and help you
out and spend time with you it's only people who want to take advantage of getting most of the hotels in these areas like for hardigan's they are cheap cheap hotels and you get what you pay for in India absolutely so these hotels are like 500 rupees a night they hire uneducated boys from the village and a number of tourists have head issues with boys when in particular was the girl who travel light and I made a whole video on her experience here exactly yeah and Hardy guns so the Hardy guns is a
bout 200 meters away literally across the train tracks from the largest human trafficking Centre in India and also with that comes the red-light district in the same area and know where it gets worse too so there's a lot of drugs that go on in a hog and - and you will see people on the side of the street usually hiding behind a power box or something shooting up and that is really kind of sad and scary the first time you see it yeah so as you can probably guess by now you need to stay as far awa
y from these areas as you can if you're gonna stay in Delhi go to South Delhi and stay there you'll find normal everyday Indians living in suburbs just like back at home and you'll have a real nice experience there with with great Indian hospitality no scammers no touts none of the bad stuff because they will focus the efforts here and the tourists area and the same thing goes for Colaba and Mumbai don't stay there go and stay in Bandra some are a bit further away all these Indian cities are con
nected to Mumbai has the train that goes down to calibre and Delhi has the amazing Delhi Metro which is one of the best metros and in the world another great option is Airbnb and I use that all the time here booked with an Indian family and you'll get the entire I think you devil our guest is God Indian hospitality experience and it's it's really really heartwarming the way Indians will take you into their families straight away in and yeah really make you feel at home to do that you go on Airbn
b and find an Indian family to stay with that's another option so avoid staying in these tourist areas if you want to avoid scammers talents and all the bad stuff that comes with traveling to India and if you want to stay safe and travel confidently here in India I've written a QuickStart safety guide available at India Survival Guide which will make sure you have an absolutely incredible time in India and love your experience in India as much as I love being here in India as well Jay and

I wish every country had โ€œa Karlโ€, to guide tourists through YouTube videos.

@KnightSlasher

I love Karl, he shows the bad said and good side of India and he generally shows the best way to enjoy it.

@milanmehta

I stayed in paharganj, my phone was snatched from a scooter driver, fortunately they dropped it on the floor and I ran and got it back..

@user-os7be5zn7i

It's the same mistake that travellers to any country make. They don't do their share of research before travelling to another country. Always search for opinions on the best places to travel and stay and the do's and dont's in another country. You need to be well prepared.

@stwch

Literally everyone look at you when you do vlogs in india

@MummyinAmman

Iโ€™ve actually never had an interest in going to India but I still watch your videos because the content is so interesting. I really feel like these videos are a public service and I commend your bravery in presenting the good and the bad. (Also, how do you vlog in public with everyone staring at you ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜…)

Paharganj is the ghetto of Delhi. The worst area.

@YuliaGolubyatnikova

I traveled alone to India and I stayed in Paharganj many times. I didn't have any problems there and I found that place really interesting to explore. Hotels were very nice there, food also tasty. But I'm from Russia and some russian small cities are more scary and dirty with mafia, gopniks and drugs.

@rahilmalhotra001

Nailed it Karl. I never understood foreigner's obsession with Paharganj, its out there as the worst place in Delhi!!
