@phazonmichel

You know you’re getting old when Shailene Woodly is casted as the therapist

@evagrondin9060

i was just in the oxford high school shooting and i feel like the depiction of how the one girl is so sad while her sister doesn't care is so accurate because after a few weeks people forget about it and stop caring when the trauma for all of us is still there.

@Rosinemmon

So glad that Jenna and Maddie are taking serious roles. I always had faith that Jenna was going to be so much more than a disney star and Maddie deserves this project after the embarrassment in Music. Will definitely tune in to this

@heyitsashlynd2984

As someone who had a loved one be a victim in a school shooting, I’m so glad these long-term issues are coming to light. This happens too much in America and we aren’t doing anything about it. The issues that come afterwards last a lifetime, yet most others who weren’t involved forget. I pray the day comes that we get justice for the innocent children murdered in the one place they’re supposed to be safe.

@Lucas-yy5qe

Jenny Ortega is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED! She seriously kills every role!

@ttczd1056

i've watched Jenna since Disney and have always been a big fan of her work. She really needs more recognition. She is an amazing actress. I hope to be as half as good as her one day.

@dannyschulz9016

One of the most impactful movies I’ve watched. How the movie portrays trauma and grief is exceptional. Jenna Ortega is a freaking amazing actress, and Maddie does great as well.

@stankyt5882

I lost 3 friends in the Sandy Hook shooting, Danny, Dylan, n Chase. The Oxford incident was just as big a nightmare since its kids my age with friends that love and care for them. I was deeply touched by this movie

@k-bar93

It’s extremely sad that this occurs so often in America to kids.. This movie needed to happen.

@unapologeticallydanielle653

Wow. Mom of a school shooting survivor and this movie needs to happen. People need to know that issues persist long after the shooting stops. I’m sobbing and have chills all over my body.

@smileyfan16

This gave me chills. We all cope and deal with trauma in different ways. HBO is really going there.

@dontblameme.3063

I've just finished and i can tell, this is far one of the most well made dramatic movie I've ever seen; its so realistic, the dialogue, the emotions. 🙌

@spooky0432

HBO is killing it with these shows right now 🙌

@thomaschapman9112

I’m so happy that Maddie is in more projects and ‘that’ film didn’t ruin her credibility.

@Rosesbaby

Jenna literally has me in a choke hold. Literally everything I’ve seen of hers is so incredible and raw. She’s grown into such an astounding actress and I can’t wait for her to continue into other amazing roles. 💜

@janechoy2073

I think it's great that there's a primetime show about how young people - particularly children live through traumatic events and the repercussions. Hollywood movies often depict how adults deal with the fallout of say, wars, natural disasters, going broke overnight - but few shows depict the world from young people's perspective.

@AceZachrocks123

Saw this about 10 months ago and its great. Seriously when this hits HBOMax do not miss it the first 10 minutes were so intense and the movie is simply a great character study on how we cope with trauma and handle themselves beyond a horrific event. the final 20 minutes and first 10 minutes really stand out.

@michaelsinger4638

Love seeing Jenna Ortega get more roles. She’s great.

@chantintin10

it’s crazy to watch jenna from her at stuck in the middle as a kid to me now as a teen. as well as, maddie. from watching her grow up at dance moms. to her in small roles in movies and to now a main role! this is HUGEEE!!!
