happening this weekend lots of family funfilled activities all starting of course with opening day tomorrow but it doesn't stop there you can check out the Henry Ford Museum cranber Institute of science Michigan Science Center all for free Lots going on and free is the key word here Carrie we love Carrie is here with a little guy to fill us in on everything yes like I said we love free uh kids are expensive doing fun things with them it is expensive so when we find some free nuggets out there we
take jump on it yes so first and foremost um one of our favorite places the Henry Ford Museum they're hosting their first ever touch a truck this is fantastic I know we're so excited I'm like kidy about this um but yes so in conjunction with you know they have the PAW Patrol exhibit uh at the Henry Ford happening right now so you know the PAW Patrol is all about uh their trucks and the fire trucks and the uh recycling truck all the trucks so in uh in celebration of that they're hosting a Touch
a Truck in their parking lot and it is completely free that is going to be on Saturday you know what for us grown-ups we don't think about you know when you think about a truck we're like eh what kids are obsessed with touch truck events 100% And you can spend easily half the day there 100% it it it's like their dream come true they in real life can touch and feel and they do such a great job and and sometimes the the truck owners are there and they can help them out but it's and they do have a
sensory friendly hour from the 9 to 10 hour beforehand so lots of touch of trucks I we just posted it's officially Touch of truck season lots happening this spring so check out little guu detroit.com um for a full lineup of a touch of trucks happening fantastic yeah it's always a great time and then as we have some events going on at Cranbrook as well y so every Cranbrook has first free Friday first third Thursday or I'm sorry no third Thursday first free Friday um so tomorrow is the first Frida
y of the month and so it is free uh they always recommend reservations but uh but it's just a great opportunity to check out an incredible Museum uh for free and it does get packed on those days it does so make sure you keep that in mind yep and the reservations help and and switching over to another uh free museum Michigan Science Center is also free they're having a community day tomorrow um and that is free reservations are requested and they still do I saw yesterday they should still have so
me reservations and um it does get busy so it is nice to have that reservation already set ahead of time um so highly recommend heading there um always a great great time at Michigan Science Center and that is coming up tomorrow from 10: until 700 and again they do say you should probably make that reservations a good idea it does get super busy and if you haven't checked it out with the kiddos it's a great place I mean and I love that you get to go there have fun enjoy it kind of entertain them
a bit but it's also I mean there's so much to learn oh yeah they have and they have stage which uh with different presentations and scientists doing experiments I think that's the most fun it's so much fun yeah so a lot of fun happening at Michigan Science Center all weekend long um another free I I'll I'll do this I'll mention this because it's our favorite um is uh the first Saturday every month Home Depot does their DIY K Workshop we always love that so that's where will be Saturday morning
before we head to uh the Henry Ford it is it is it's a great time and you know what I love you can go online and you can actually see what the workshop will be you can sign up you can get the kit they get those little orange aprons and so cute and a pin it's a super fun Saturday morning yeah pin so we have the whole everyone's got an apron in our house and you can usually hit the hot dog cart on your way out you know feed them lunch thanks Carrie I appreciate you being here thank you
