We'd even joke around and say, "Ivana be the star." [CHUCKLES] [JEROME] She's a breath of fresh air. She's different. She's real. [RAYMUND] You'd be surprised to see what she can offer. There's a lot.

And, she will be a star. [JEROME] You will also be impressed with the performances of her costars, headed by Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake. The five stars of the show have a great rapport. [SERENE MUSIC PLAYING] [IVANA] The character I play is Cherry Red. And my character values family. She loves her family very much. And, she's just a very simple and cheerful woman. She's very innocent. - Paco! - Paco! - Paco! Paco! - [TENSE MUSIC PLAYING] - Paco! Paco! - Paco! P

aco! - Aah! - Aah! [CROWD CHEERING, SCREAMING] [GERALD] Well, I play the role of Paco Estrella, one of the four brothers. Almost all of the responsibilities will fall on Paco's shoulders. Everything important in his life will clash. So all of his loved ones will be compromised. There will be some who'll need to make sacrifices. [SOMBER MUSIC PLAYING] [FREDDIE] Dave! Pa. [FREDDIE] Welcome home. [SAM] I play the role of Dave Estrella. He's the eldest of the four brothers. He's both loving and hard

working. But, there will come a point in his life wherein he'll need to make a choice and sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed. [SOMBER MUSIC CONTINUES] He must choose between family or love. [MOANING] Oh my goodness! Seb! Oh! Cherry Red! What are you doing here?! [JAKE] The character I play is Seb Estrella. He's the third of the four Estrella brothers. He's a happy-go-lucky guy. He's naughty, and he likes to tease people. He wants everyone to always get along. He hates conflict. So he always a

cts as the mediator between his older brothers. But, at the same time, he also has a flaw, which is... Um... Girls. [LAUGHS] - You fool! - [DAVE] Pa! Pa! - [PACO] Pa! - [GRUNTS] - [FREDDIE] Huh?! - [JAMESON] I will be playing the role of Drew Estrella, the youngest of the four brothers. He's the black sheep of the family. He feels left out from his family. As a child, he developed a deep-seated resentment, which he carried with him until he grew older. [SOFT INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PLAYING] [JEROME]

The location is wonderful. It's scenic, it's beautiful, it's grand. It is exactly how we envisioned our characters' milieu, which involves cattle farming and breeding. It's perfect for a family that owns a ranch, Rancho Cuatro Estrella. It's a beautiful place which we don't often get to explore when we make TV series and films. It has a New Zealand look and feel to it. [MUSIC ENDS] [BRIGHT MUSIC PLAYING] Oh, wow! Gosh! It's huge! It's rich! It'll make people think the show's well budgeted. Peopl

e can try horseback riding and herding cattle there. That place is vast. I think it was the first time that I've been to Masbate. And I found it beautiful. It's just a lot of open and beautiful landscape. It was a lot of fun. The place was very scenic. That's where we, the entire cast, started developing a bond. And we sort of really became a family. [JAKE] The beaches there are something I never imagined because it was never on my bucket list of places to go to. So I was really amazed to see ho

w beautiful the place is. [BRIGHT MUSIC CONTINUES] [GERALD] They have the ocean, the rolling hills, pasture, cattle, horses, ranches, and all that. You'll find all of those in Masbate. [WATER SPRINKLING] - [WATER SPRINKLING] - [CATTLE MOOING] [BRIGHT MUSIC CONTINUES] [JEROME] Now, in Batangas, the dairy farms we shot in were all very picturesque so it helps boost the storytelling because of the milieu. Because of the grandness of the locations that we got in Batangas and in Masbate. [SOFT MUSIC

PLAYING] Hey, guys! Okay. We're doing this because it's one way of helping you guys get into character before the shoot. As actors, you have a huge responsibility to be able to know the lines already and be in character when you get to the set. Next sequence, Sequence Four, is an action sequence. There will be scenes wherein he'll be attacked and stuff. From the horse, he'll lasso the cattle. Once he's lassoed the cattle, the cattle will attack him. - Then he'll hold it. - Yeah. That really happ

ens. - [LAUGHING] It really does. - [LAUGHTER] - But we'll use a stunt double. - Huh? - We'll use a stunt double. - No, let me do it. - Well, you can. - Yeah, I want to do it. [SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC PLAYING] [GERALD] The rodeo experience? Um, it was wonderful. The real cowboys that we got to work with were really nice. They guided us. [COMEDIC MUSIC PLAYING] We got to try it out. I think I practiced twice before we started taping. It's very hard to do. But, I'm glad our director allowed me to do the

rodeo scene myself. [ANNOUNCER] Our defending Rodeo King... - Whoo! - Aah! [ANNOUNCER] Paco Estrella! [GERALD] We shot that scene at the exact place where they'd hold rodeos in Masbate. It's where they'd hold huge events once or twice a year. So we were blessed to be able to feature how their stadium looks like. [DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYING] [JAMESON] Our first cycle of taping was in Masbate. We were able to go horseback riding. We were somehow able to bond at the same time. [JAKE] Although we were

working, we also felt like we were vacationing there. And the people were so friendly. [SAM] We were trained in horseback riding and all of that. We also underwent rodeo training. So it was such a unique experience. I didn't know that there are people who do rodeo here in the Philippines. And it's a really famous sport in Masbate. [GERALD] What Sam and I did was really physically demanding. We had to wrestle cattle. [ANNOUNCER] Okay, ladies and gentlemen! - The cattle has been released - [WHISTL

E BLOWS] for Dave and Paco! [COLLEEN] Those two weren't really fighting over cattle. Until now, they're still trying to outdo one another. [CHERRY RED] What for? [COLLEEN] Isn't it obvious? Maybe they're doing it for you. [DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYING] Brother rivalry, in a sense. But also, they fell in love with the same woman. [GERALD] When it comes to the love angle between the three characters, the audience will have a hard time choosing who to root for because each character is going through vari

ous challenges and obstacles. [JAY] More than it being an affair, A Family Affair is about all of these things that are part of our lives as a family. [DRAMATIC MUSIC CONTINUES] [IVANA] Five words? Addicting. Mind-blowing. Challenging. Sexiness. Intense. So it's an all-in-one experience. It'll really take you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions. The story is really beautiful.
