The Kim Mulkey Clown and Fashion Show: Is it good for Women's College Basketball?

aitlyn Clark because she is probably one of the two best college women's college basketball players I've ever seen with Cheryl Miller college basketball especially with the women's game is really having a rise in popularity now because of Caitlyn Clark Angel ree all these kind of people and you've got Kim Moi who instead of wanting this to be about the players wants it to be about herself and we saw this past weekend that you can never underestimate Kim moy's ability to make a situation worse an

d to make it about herself instead of about the players on the court now the ugliness that marred the USC LSU game Southern South Carolina game on Sunday in the SEC Championship game called for restraint common sense in a dose of humility from both South Carolina Coach Don Staley and LSU's flamboyant Kim Maly now South Carolina's Don Staley is what a coach should be she understood all of that when Kim Moi didn't get it she apologized for the Gamecocks roll in the melee to began when Flo J Johnso

n intentionally fouled one of the players from LSU bumped in Ashley Watkins and then escalated when Camila Cardoza shoved a much smaller Johnson to the floor now that is not what Don Staley wants her program to be about that's what not any good coach is unselfish would want their program to be about Moi however went in the opposite direction she started off by saying no one wants to see that ugliness that's great but then she went on to say but I can tell you this I wish she would have pushed An

gel Reese don't push a kid you're 6'8 don't push somebody that little that was uncalled for in my opinion Moy said let those two girls that were jelling let them go at it that's right a Hall of Famer whose job is equal parts coach and teacher advocated for a hockey style brawl that could in theory hurt somebody on her own team somebody on the other team and make women's college basketball nothing but a clown show which is what Kim Moi seems to want just by the way she dresses an acts and it does

n't matter if it was said in just or Moki was trying to make the point that Cardoza shouldn't have gone after someone N9 Ines shorter the Mir s suggestion was wildly inappropriate it had only served to further inflame tensions between the two teams now to be clear there is no excuse for what Cardoza did the hair pulling the shoving and the overt physicality of L by LSU players during the game are not equal bad acts and in no way justifies South Carolina's retaliation Cardoza lost her cool and wa

s rightly punished for it the difference between the programs that Don Staley and Kim Moi run are in separate different worlds here I mean there's a discussion to be had about how the rest let the game go but once it did it was incumbent upon the coaches to take control of their teams you know the supposed adults that are running these teams now to diffuse the situation Staley did her part Moi mostly did not this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who knows Moi who people will call a colorfu

l figure in college basketball right now you know she takes the sidelines in these outlandish outfits she makes stupid statements she makes the game about her if you look at the outfit she's wearing in the picture next to me don't make it about you I mean you don't have to dress like a clown I mean this is she she dresses usually somewhere between a clown and a hooker and it's absolutely disgusting if you watch the LSU Iowa national championship game last year she bullied the officials hell I th

ink she said a couple screens she was on the so much and when you look at the past for Kim M I mean this is a woman that when she coached at Baylor you know she was the newly hire I mean she she coached at Baylor and you had the you had the big massive sexual assault and title n scandal at Baylor and she made comments there defending Baylor University in the way they handled everything she made a comment after this that said if somebody's around you and they ever sayi will never send my daughter

to Baylor you knocked them right in the face such a good lady isn't she wouldn't you want your daughter taught the ways of life by this woman who thinks it's best to just punch somebody in the face when somebody offends you or somebody says something you don't agree with and you know she said at Center Court after earning her five 00 win as the coach of Baylor that is what she said she went on to say because these kids are on campus I work here she said my daughter went to school here and it's

the best damn school in America well number one why'd you go to LSU right after that now if you don't remember you want a refresher the scandin Baylor took off in 2015 when multiple football players faced accusations of sexual assault against women two were convicted of the crime two were indicted between 2011 and 2015 at least 19 and as many as 31 players were accused of sexual assault and gang rapes an independent probe by a law firm found institutional failure at every level at bayor as some

top university employees failed to report cases and others tried to stop complaints from even being reported Baylor's head football coach ad University president and title n coordinator all resigned amid the Scandal and Moy went on to say I'm tired of people talking it on a national scale that don't know what they're talking about Moy said in a postgame press conference after initial remarks if they didn't sit in those meetings and they weren't part of the investigation you're repeating things t

hat you heard it's over it's done this is a great institution she continued the problems that we have at Baylor are no different than the problems that any other school in America period I don't know that I've seen other schools with the gang issues and everything and everybody you know quitting their jobs people getting convicted people getting indicted for this my question is this to you and my question is if you or if Kim Moi or put it like this if Don Staley if if the situations in the comme

nts were reversed and Don s Staley would have called for violence people would automatically say Don Staley was teaching a thug mentality at South Carolina for the very simple reason is that she's black Kim Moi was this girl who won a national championship at lisiana Tech in the early 1980s with her cute little p ponytails but she has become a monster if you look at her she is an absolute disgrace to anybody that was an actual coach in any sport why would you dress the way she's dressed over her

e I you dress that way because you want the attention you make dumbass comments because you want the attention when the attention should go to Angel Ree and the rest of the LSU women's team the way it should have went to Baler you know she parades out by herself before games I've seen the video I was going to pull it up here but I didn't have time to put it up there but she walks out like she's a cross between the president and a hooker you know high heels flamboyant it's not about you Kim Mony

it's about the players you coach the players you teach and the people you're supposed to make better people when they leave your institution sure you've won four national championships but in the end Kim M is nothing more than a loser guys she's not what a coach is supposed to be and I think it it's very disgusting the way that people glorify her as being this great person when once again what would have happened if Don Staley would have made the same comments that's my two SS on this it is has

pissed me off ever since I saw her this outfit is the one that really got me if you're supposed to be a head basketball coach be a head basketball coach don't be a clown and that's what Kim Moni is she's a clown and if you let your kids go play for Kim Mony you're not a very good parent because I would not want my kid taught the ways that Kim Mony teaches kids and young women so Caitlyn Clark Angel ree y'all keep doing what you're doing maybe that will translate in the WNBA because we all know t

he NBA is pretty much died off maybe Caitlyn Clark Angel Reese girls like that will bring an injection to the WNBA and make it a much better product of what we see with the NBA the quality of play won't be because men are bigger stronger more athletic but in the end guys nobody is wanting to watch the NBA because of the way the game is played anymore so women's college basketball this could be like a bird magic moment with Caitlyn Clark Angel ree but we always risk the chance that maybe we see L

SU Iowa in another epic final and maybe Kim moy's the way she coaches her players leads to a Big Brawl how great would that be for women's college basketball that you get on the biggest stage you got these huge TV ratings and then all of a sudden you get women out there fighting because their coach condones it their coach encourages it so I I know ES PN kimi's the darling of ESPN but once again what would be the narrative on this if Don staly would have said that while Kim Moi took the high road
