So today we are going down to Kwenia  in Kajiado county for a camping trip. We’ll be staying at Kwenia Eco Lodge, so we’re going down magadi road and then  branching off to the left before oltepesi. So I had stopped over at the mall for  a few minutes, to get some supplies. Right now it’s around 11AM, so we should  be there in 2-3 hours. Give or take. So right now we’re passing  through Ongata Rongai. I don’t know why, but this  place always has heavy traffic. Every time I pass through  here the
re’s always traffic. And As you leave Rongai, you get this amazing  view of the seven summits of Ngong hills. We’ll be stopping up ahead at Kona Baridi, That is also where you would start your  hike up Ngong hills from this side. This is Kona baridi, We can see all the way to Kwenia from here We are going somewhere to the left of that large  mountain, I think it’s called Oloorgesalie. yeah, so, that’s our destination for today. This road is extremely narrow, so if you see an oncoming vehicle, ju
st slow down, coz neither of you might have  enough space to like pass by. So we are almost at Oltepesi,  It’s getting really hot out here, I’ve had to crank up the AC to full blast. Umm, yeah, So oltepesi is somewhere up ahead, We are going to branch off here  and Just find our way to Kwenia. I don’t know how this road goes, my  map is telling me something else, but we are going to try this  road until we make it there. So we just stoped somewhere, I just  realised I forgot to air down my tyres
. So what we are going to do is reduce the  pressure on the tyres to around 24/23 PSI for a more comfortable and  stable ride on the off-road. So, that goes there, and  this goes to the other side. Once it’s clamped down, I’ll come here  and use this to reduce the pressure. And keep checking until we get  to the pressure that we want. As you can see, we are now at 24 PSI, I think we’ll go with that and see how  it feels like before going any lower. It should be enough though So this device, like
lowers both tyres at the same  time, so it makes it easier to air down and up. And if you have low pressure on  one tyre and higher on the other, you can equalise them by hooking them together. So let’s do the front wheels  and we’ll be on our way. So we had attempted to cross this River  a week ago, umm we went down that way. Umm, I think I’ll just show  a pop up of that attempt. So this was all flooded and flowing really fast. We tried to cross But we were  stopped by that ledge over there, i
t was formed all the way to this end. I think the truckers who use this road  had to dig it out to make it passable. Otherwise it was impassable,  we really really tried. So this is the place upclose, we did several crossing attempts. But as you can see this ledge is  quite high, about a metre high. We couldn’t have made that. We just crossed the river bed, so now we are just trying to find our  bearing and our way to umm kwenia. Let’s just hope we are on the right path There are a lot of ant hi
lls on this  road, like every few metres you see one. Reminds me of a book , I think it was called: The ant hills of the Savannah. I don’t remember what the book was about, but  yeah, these are the ant hills of the savannah After we aired down our tyres, umm the  ride has become really comfortable, so we can really pick up  speed even on the rough road, we can go much much faster  and the car feels more stable. I am not sure if this is a road or a river  bed, but I’m just following these tracks
And we are lost. This road just led  us directly into someone’s homestead. So let’s just trace back a little bit and the  see if we’ll find a turn off to another route. I just talked to some locals back there and they said that umm we should turn right  up ahead and follow the tracks. Wow! look at that rock formation to the left, Let’s just umm stop there for a few minutes, for a photo session with the pelican. This drive is just amazing, pure bliss, with mt Oloorgesalie fully  visible in the di
stance ahead of us. Yeii !!. Mud puddle. hehe. We did’t have to do that, but Man’s gotta have some fun.😂 So we are just passing through this place  that has a field, a school and some shops. I think it’s called umm  Emboliei. If I’m not wrong. There’s this place where we can see windmills  right on the other side of the mountain. This view is just, something else. Hmm, I’m a little confused, there are two roads here and one looks like it’s  going in the opposite direction. let’s just go right a
nd hope for the best And Nope, we’re lost… again I know the general direction so let’s just cut  through here. We’ll find the road eventually. Here we go! Back on the right track. From here, umm, this road should  lead us straight to kwenia. We have taken longer than expected to get here. But you know what they say. It’s all about  the journey, and the destination. I think So I am almost to Kwenia, And right now the windmills are  really visible on the other side. I think that could be the water
fall at  Kwenia, but let’s get there and find out! We are so close! The map says we should  turn right up ahead to Kwenia Eco Lodge. Let’s just go up this hill and  hope we aren’t lost, again. And we made it. This is Kwenia. We’re quickly gonna check in,  before we go find our camping spot. Found a camping spot, so let’s  start setting up and unpacking. Once we were done unpacking we watched  the sunset, cooked and ate dinner. So right now we’ll just sit by this  campfire, and enjoy the wilderne
ss life. And as we watch the moon rise, I’ll say, Stay tuned for part two That’s it for today Thanks a lot for watching and I’ll see you In the next one.

I'm glad to see a side of Kenya that's not the usual Dianis, Naivashas, and Maras; yet so beautiful. That sunset shot towards the end 🔥🔥🔥

I just found out this channel a few days ago from X and it's becoming my favorite. I'm also starting to love the 70 series, seems to handle all terrains well. Currently I have a '95 Pajero(two door too) but I can't wait to upgrade to the LC. Also, which drone do you use to capture those aerial shots? And I noticed that you also use it during solo expeditions. Is it DJI's Phantom 3 series? It's really great!:) Kudos!

@MegaTito213
