A pack of hyenas decided to challenge a lion for its prey, which it had just begun to enjoy. Surrounding the lion from all sides, the hyenas launched attacks one by one. Despite a fierce struggle, the outnumbered lion chose to retreat, allowing the hungry hyenas to claim the meal. They dragged the prey back to cover, where they devoured it in peace. However, the lion returned, seizing one of the hyenas with its powerful jaws. Though the lion attempted to strangle the hyena, the rest of the pack intervened, nipping at the lion's tail and hind legs before swiftly withdrawing. This cunning tactic irritated the lion and disrupted its focus, enabling the hyenas to rescue their comrade. Eventually, the lion relented, allowing the hyena to escape, and the pack reunited.
