Actually reminds me of that movie from the ‘80s called “The Guardian”. Had never heard of it before a few months ago until a friend of mine said she watched it as a kid. I really liked it.
The trailer is misleading, by the time you get to the second half of the movie, you will feel like you are watching a completely different movie, its like the director changed his mind in the middle of the film, if he had stayed with the horror theme it would have been a good movie, but it turns into a fantasy movie, and even then if the whole movie would have been a fantasy movie all the way from the start it would have been a good movie too, but starting out as horror and ending as a fantasy movie just kills the mood, its like watching the first half of one movie and then watching the second half of a different movie with the same actors and sort of the same theme, it just doesn't work well.
This movie is really good worth the rent and there are a few twists which you cannot tell from the trailer.
