From humble beginnings, to Hollywood success, to horrifying allegations about children, comedic YouTuber and mommy vlogger Colleen Ballinger is being hounded by controversy. The 34-year-old mother of three found her fame as Miranda Sings, a character she created with her signature overdrawn lipstick in the 2010s. But that very same character also found her a massive underage fanbase, some of whom are now coming forward about Colleen’s alleged abuse. Before we go any further, however, please proc
eed with caution as we will mention topics like grooming and sexualising children, sexual assault and animal abuse. Here’s how it all started. Back in 2020, one of Colleen’s former biggest fans, Adam McIntyre, tried to expose her for sending him used lingerie when he was underage. “I want to send him something! Do you want the BRA, Adam? Maybe he wants the panties.” Adam used to be part of Colleen and Miranda’s close-knit online fan club, who would constantly text each other in group chats on so
cial media. When Adam tried to expose Colleen, it backfired as she re-edited the original video of her sending lingerie to seem as if Adam had asked for it. “He has to tell me what he wants. said, ‘Hi, you have ugly clothes. But I want those ratchet panties and bra signed by Kory because he modeled them well.’” Colleen, who was touring as Miranda Sings at the time, also created a skit allegedly “profiting off being canceled” and “belittling” Adam for trying to cancel her. offend anybody. And if
you DON'T forgive me, that's okay. But please buy my merch.” Colleen’s fanbase subsequently pushed Adam off social media, causing him to take a years-long social media break…until now. In early June, another one of Colleen’s former fans, Kodee Tyler, who also goes by Kodeerants, backed up Adam’s claims in an hours-long expose against Colleen. Kodee released inappropriate messages that Colleen and her best friend Kory DeSoto had sent to minors including Adam. She shared screenshots of Colleen ask
ing Adam whether he’s a virgin, and what her fans’ favorite sexual positions are. Kodee even showed multiple social media posts by Colleen where she uses sexual assault terms and even racial slurs as jokes. “Was it satire when you joked about this word multiple times? Was this satire of you joking about r-wording your then-husband? Was it satire, you telling people they should r-word your friend Harvey? Was it satire, you joking about r-wording your young audience’s Twitter feeds? Using the r-wo
rd again. Again. Was it satire, you saying ‘haters going to hate, potatoes going to potate, tomatoes going to tomate, r-words gonna r-word’?” Her making fun of the n-word. Was that also satire, Colleen?” Adam reacted to Kodee’s video in an exposé of his own, and dropped even more receipts of Colleen’s creepy behavior, such as reportedly asking the group chat, called “colleeny’s weenies”, what happened when they first got their periods. In another screenshot, Adam - who was underage at the time -
sent a message about how his bum looks, and Colleen asked for pics. And in one of Colleen’s live shows in Dublin, she can be seen spitting water on Adam’s face when he was a minor. This is why Adam says in his video: “Colleen Ballinger grooms her fans for her own benefit. She's done it to me. I will go on the record saying that, and she's done it to Kodee Tyler. And I'm sure Kodee would go on record saying that All of this is just the tip of the iceberg of Colleen’s alleged abuse - many example
s of which have resurfaced since Adam and Kodee’s exposé’s. These include sexually inappropriate thumbnails and videos for her young audience and even ones of her own family, including her three-year-old niece. But it’s her behavior as Miranda Sings, a character who is allegedly “heavily implied” to have been abused by her uncle, that traumatized fans the most. Miranda would invite children onstage with her during live shows, act out a romantic date with them, then ask the child to reach into he
r clothes for a snack. “Want a cheeseball?” “I’d love one. I can't believe I'm reaching in there right now.” With all these extremely horrifying scandals coming out, some people even think Colleen had been giving off “massive red flags” ever since this video: “I murdered a dog.” Colleen reportedly “proudly” described how she pinched her dog as a child and it bit her, which led to her dog’s euthanization. Although “she was three years old when she did this”, as one fan defends her for, it’s “the
audacity to retell stories of their abuse as if it's a normal thing to have done,” as one critic says. With all the allegations and receipts against Colleen, she limited her Instagram comments after they were flooded with “Justice For Adam” and “predator” claims. Regarding her Miranda Sings skits about cancellation, one fan wrote: “It's not cancel culture, it's holding groomers accountable! Deleting all the comments but your brainwashed fandom’s proves the point [of] how you manipulate your fans
and brainwash them.” And many of those fans are still supporting the YouTube comedian, saying: “we know your intentions were never harmful”. Others called Adam and Kodee “money grubbing influencers”, with one specifically questioning Adam: “You do this every year, don't you get bored”? But unlike 2020, people are defending Adam saying: “Talking about it and shedding light on it helps him heal. It's not your place to comment, he is the victim.” While Colleen still has yet to respond, Adam has co
me forward with this tweet in preparation for her rebuttal: “let's say everyone turns on me and hates me again, at least i know i've provided so many people the confidence to feel they can speak up against huge powers in their life.” The same way Colleen used to have over him, when she ruled YouTube in the 2010s as Miranda. Telling haters to ‘back off’, Miranda’s exaggerated singing, dancing, and tutorials saw her shoot to superstardom as she even had her own Netflix show, all with her signature
over-the-top red lip. Miranda’s lipstick was so synonymous with her character that she released her own shade in 2018 at the height of her fame. But once Colleen started having children, fans started questioning how much she exposes her children online. One Redditor slammed the YouTuber for ‘shoving cameras’ down the throats of her children. Another called out Colleen for ‘exploiting’ her children for content. And Colleen’s ‘Oversharing’ podcast co-host, Trisha Paytas, has been accused of doing
the same with her daughter, Malibu Barbie. With online child grooming crimes rising by over a third since 2021, people are understandably concerned for Colleen’s young fans and children, and the lasting impact that her alleged actions will have on them.

@JaneAlison008

Girl you are the only person on YT that managed to actually explain everything clearly with adding original pieces of videos in 5minute video in contrary to all those loooong videos which are just confusing and give no solid information. Thx girl! You're cool.

@KaelyWaely

The fact that provided all this information clearly and accurately in a 5:00 minute video is really impressive.

@alex2143

I can't help but think how it would've looked if the genders were flipped. Imagine if this were a 30 year old guy who was in these inappropriate kinds of group chats with his underage fans, then had a relationship with a 14 year old girl, and then proceeded to trash the everloving shit out of her online. Sorry, but if that sounds like abuse, then what Colleen is doing is also abuse, and everyone defending her is trash.

@ThisisGlorious

I love when parasocial relationships destroy themselves for mutual lack of self-awareness.

@dramonmaster222

Glad to see she is finally being called out even if it's taken YEARS.

@lilycurrer6222

Ngl I never expected this from Colleen I watched all her videos when I was little and I’m so shocked at what she’s done 😭

@TitaniumTigerz

Thank you for the quick 411! You did well explaining it without siding as well as just being factual on a timely manner

@Subrosathefirst

I’m starting to think she must have been abused to think she would get away with acting to children like this.

@pizzapie5356

Thank you for this amazing concise video 🙏

@walkerdallas4952

Since when is having blurred and cropped screenshots with not even the full conversation proof? I am not defending her just why would it be blurred if ur trying to expose her?

@mojosbigsticks

I was wondering what the drama was - thank you for explaining it so well.

@bpalm1997

im having a tough time taking anything about this video seriously after you made the comment about "spitting in adams face as a minor" you could have left that out that was clearly part of the show they were doing and it really doesn't help credit anything

@UsedNameTag13

Gets straight to the point and gives all the details

@nathanielscott6159

Bruh this is crazy. I think intention is important. You m8s arent detectives.

@HufflePuff-vx7ls

I really wish some legal allegations would be made because it’s so difficult to believe anything on the internet these days. I really hope police get involved because as soon as they do and say that the allegations are true then I can join the group who are against her but my morals and logic at the moment just say to not believe anything online

@hunee8

Thank you thank you so much . I couldn’t find a video that wasn’t 3 hours long. You explained it very wel 👏

@Low-Fi-SCOTT

Im 31 so i had no clue who this was. All i gotta say is, "Don't meet your heroes"

@lizzlocke3130

This was very well laid out and concise, thank you! I wanted to know more because for some reason I never really liked her that much. She appeared on other peoples videos like Tyler Oakley but I never got into her stuff. Getting more in-site into her personality helps it make sense. And I know one or two actions maybe in the gray area but things that unmistakably speak to her mental state and behavior are important. Because we don't want to enable someone to do harm. That's why this is a big deal her audience is largely kids the most impressionable audience. it's not a good sign that she's playing the victim and saying it's not true there is proof.

@Moey843

I didn’t think she would be the type of person to do something like this

@YourFavEmma1

She used to be my childhood but I feel so sorry for her children
