Hey, what’s up, everybody? Sami here. Today,
we're comparing the video performance of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, OPPO Find X7 Ultra, and Galaxy
S24 Ultra. This is undoubtedly the most detailed comparison among the three, which could be
really useful for those wondering about them, so please subscribe and turn on the notification
bell. First, let's delve into the interface. Starting with the OPPO Find X7 Ultra. I think
it's probably the simplest among the three. It supports full focal range 4K/60
shooting and
even HDR at 4K/60, but only for the 1x and 3x zoom. The maximum slow motion supported by the X7
Ultra is 1080/240fps, and the front video supports a maximum of 4K/60fps. That’s basically
the video features of the Find X7 Ultra. As for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it also supports
full focal range 4K/60 shooting and up to 8K/30fps recording from 1x to 5x zoom. It offers an Auto
framing feature, which is great for keeping subjects centered. It has a Pro video option, but
no Log feature
is provided. What I like the most is the Portrait video, which offers a cool bokeh
effect that looks really natural and cinematic. When compared with the other two, you'll notice
that the OPPO sometimes has problems with edges, as seen in my head part, and Xiaomi tends to
overexpose, making skin tones look terrible. Additionally, it offers different filters. For
others, it supports up to 4K 120fps recording. On the other hand, Xiaomi 14 Ultra is probably
the most feature-rich. It also supp
orts full focal range 4K/60 shooting and up to 4K/30 HDR
video, and up to 8K recording. Furthermore, it supports 4K/120fps, just like the
S24 Ultra. Similar to the S24 Ultra, we can scale down four times
to 4K/30fps for slow motion! Speaking of slow motion, you won't believe
what it's capable of. It supports up to 1080p/1920fps recording; it's like time and
space are frozen. But you have to notice, for each 1080p/1920fps, it can only
record 10s, so be aware of that. Beyond that, there is t
he “Auto tracking shot,”
which offers two modes: Auto zoom and Smart composition. It's pretty cool, right? What I
really like is the Motion tracking focus, which is the best among the three. Even if I move my
head crazily, it doesn't lose focus. Check it out. For those phone camera enthusiasts, the best part is probably in the Pro mode.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra supports 4K log shooting, which gives lots of room for post-editing. And
here are some log footages if you are interested. That’s basica
lly the interface of the
three. Now let's test the footage. First, let's talk about the focusing speed. In many
scenarios, all three performed great—fast and smooth. But in some situations,
Xiaomi 14 Ultra seemed a bit slow, sometimes failing to focus, like when I put
my arm in front of it or when I walk by; it didn't even attempt to focus, unlike
the other two, which react quickly. Now onto the stills. To be honest, I
can't decide who performed better or worse because all three performed
excellently.
I compared them at different focal lengths, and the color rendering was very good, with a nicely
controlled white balance and pleasant skin tones. Speaking of different focal lengths, let’s compare
the zoom test, as many have been asking for it. so the first is opo f XM Archer one time two 4 6 10 just a second so this is 10 okay
I need to move a little bit like this 10 18 times okay so this 18 times maximum maximum
on the allo and then we go Shi 14 arer one one 1.5 52 3.2 you s
ee the difference 3.2 5
5.1 10 and 15 times so this the 15 times on Shi versus 18 times on the opo F X7 Ultra okay
and then we go to opo no good Samsung 2.3 4.7 7.01 9 point okay 10 16 18 and 20 times wow
to be honest I don't even need to see this on computer I know the Samsung wins Galaxy S4
to way ler Zoom test and nice so this is the AR white um this three Foams Arch white oh I
don't know you can tell me like which one is better it's like op has the best you can
check out this part OPP
is at least you can see some colors there show me got the to B
out same for the s24 Archer and then one time okay for this part show me steer the worst okay and VI no no opo seems the same
as uh s24 arer like the best seems like two times okay this is three times so we have
to adjust it two times okay now two times seems like s24 the best without doubt and if we
turn around a little bit Yeah show me is like toing you see yeah for this part like it's 24 the best okay two time three
times thr
ee times okay three times but you know the let's
switch 3.2 and Sh me Pro originally let's five times five times okay SS sham me catches up
sorry guys I just caught a code recently okay and then if we switch
to six times you see six times wow okay 10 times let's just switch to 10 times 10 times okay 10 times switch maximum 18 times op 15 times you show me times on the Galaxy like8 15 [Music] times Now, onto the feature I care about the most:
stabilization. Regarding the default stabilization
for 4K/60 video from the main camera, Xiaomi is
shaking like it just took some drugs. OPPO is better, but the S24 Ultra is undoubtedly the
best among the three—so stable and smooth, just like shooting with a phone gimbal!
This is also true for night videos; Xiaomi’s 14 Ultra motion blur makes me dizzy,
and check out the balloon—it's totally blown out. If I switched on the extra Steady feature, I
can see Xiaomi 14 Ultra has become less shaky, looks much better, but I still think it's the
w
orst among the three for its subtle breathing effect or what you call the jello effect, which
is very subtle but noticeable if you look closely. To be honest, I always suggest
using default stabilization; it’s good enough to handle everything. As for selfies, all three support 4K/60fps. To
my surprise, all three offer great performance. But if I had to choose the best, then obviously
the S24 Ultra has the most stable performance and dynamic range. This is especially true for night
selfie vi
deos; the motion blur on the OPPO and Xiaomi looks terrible. So, if you’re shooting
at night, it's better to use a phone gimbal. Well, in conclusion, if you ask, for these
three Ultra phones, who wins? While the OPPO Find X7 Ultra impresses with its simplicity
and support for features like HDR, I guess the S24 Ultra outperforms the other two for its
more stable performance in different scenarios, the stabilization is crazy good. 4K/120fps is
awesome for those who want to upgrade their video
game. While for Xiaomi 14 Ultra, it offers so
many pro features, like 1080/1920fps slow motion, Log feature, Motion tracking focus, making it one
of the side cameras I use for my video production. Ultimately, the choice between these flagship
smartphones depends on individual preferences and priorities, with each offering a compelling
set of features for users seeking top-tier video performance. Thanks for watching, I’m
Sami, and I'll see you in the next one.

Do you think that 1080p/1920fps slow motion at 2:37 on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is mind-blowing? Subscribe! https://www.youtube.com/@SamiLuo
Samsung s24 is the best here. i love the great stability of it.
Hello. As always, a great analysis. One of the best to be found on YouTube. Greetings from Extremadura, Spain
Thanks for all the work to compare Sami, even when you're sick! I think the S24U is the most consistent and would get my vote if video was the most important.
Your review is something I really look for, except for No Vivo X100 Pro. Many people compare these phones' still camera zoom, but no video zoom, especially, Low light. Thanks so much from someone who really appreciate your review.
Hi Sami, could you show us a sample of the log video after some basic editing ?
Thanks Sami! Great video! What firmware was your Oppo find x7 ultra on?
S24 is the best
Hows the xiaomi 13 ultra do you experience in camera fogging or moisture inside after long time period of using it?
Oppo 👑💖
Still love the Oppo... ❤
Can you make comparison of xiaomi 14 ultra and iphone 15 pro max log video test which one has best quality and details?
What a spectacular video. Thanks you man.
Thanks!
Oppo😮❤
Man xiaomi really needs to work on their processing and stabilisation. This is shocking.
Don't know why but the xiaomi seemed to have deteriorated since launch. It used to be solid when it was released, but now it's performance seems to have dropped a lot. The overexposure, the shakey stabilisation, even the telephoto zoom seems to be getting worse, when it should be getting better. The oppo looks the best, but does not have the same features that the xiaomi has. Such a waste. Is this the Chinese rom or the global rom? I hope xiaomi can fix things and improve in an update soon. Otherwise, I might have to wait for the vivo x100 Pro plus / ultra, which is a waste, because I really like the xiaomi camera kit.
I think oppo took it overall but front facing at night is really bad so not sure really
Hey Sami! I'm waiting for your Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro review
