Hello, everybody, and welcome back to
another video! I don't even think I can properly given an intro to this because
of how EXCITED I am!!! It's official, guys -- the Wings of Fire show is BACK! I have a
lot of very awesome news to share in this video, so let's get right on into things! But before

without further ado, let's get into the video. At the time of writing this script,
this news JUST came to us an hour ago. A Variety article reveals that
the Wings of Fire animated show is in development at Amazon MGM Studios
following its Netflix cancellation. This is HUGE, you guys! We have official
news confirmation that the Win
gs of Fire series is actually going to happen for
sure, and we know the studio that's making it. Originally Tui stated she was trying to
reach out to HBO Max, but now we know from this deal and production update that we'll
actually be getting the WoF show on Amazon. The Variety article goes into more information. There is a completely new creative
team, so no one who was working on the Netflix adaptation is coming back.
They haven't chosen a writer yet, but Marc Resteghini is labeled
as th
e executive producer. The deal for the show is under Amazon MGM Studios! Guys, this is such awesome news, truly.
We ARE getting a Wings of Fire show, despite the hardships in its production,
and the unfortunate cancellation a few years ago. Tui is no longer back in square
one! THIS IS REAL, AND THIS IS EXCITING!! The original plan for the series when it was to
release with Netflix is that it would have ten fourty-minute episodes covering the first
arc. However, we don't know what structure
or style the Amazon series will take on. I
hope we get as much content as possible, as often times the best Wings of Fire
content comes in its small moments. We're back! Of course, I'm going to be
keeping you guys updated with ALL the news, speculation, and information we get as we see more progress on the series. Our hope is
back, and I couldn't be smiling more. I really hope this show will be worth the wait.
It should do this PHENOMENAL book series justice, and be a love-letter to the cou
ntless fans
like us, and Tui T. Sutherland herself. I'm curious to see her involvement in it! I
have no doubts we'll learn more on that soon. But what do you guys think? Are you

I’m really hoping that the show will be 2D rather than 3D, we’ve gotten way to many 3D movies and it would be nice to see this show in a more 2D format.
Hopefully Tui has a lot of creative involvement. History has shown that when the author is involved, the stories are better than if they aren't.

Still really hope that the intro for each episode of each season will be the prophecy of that arc similar to how avatar and the dragon prince would have expesitional intros. Also, would love to have different backstory that’s only been implied or later in the series.
Huh. Warner Bros. must’ve given/sold the rights to Amazon…I must say, I did not see that one coming! As that one meme of Palpatine goes: “A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!”
They need a Asha and hvitur legends ! We didn’t get enough of their story

Amazon is the saviour of animation! They released Hazbin Hotel (even if I didn’t like it), they tried to release Coyote vs AcMe (if not for Warner’s stupidity), and now they’ve saved Wings of Fire. All hail Amazon
i really hope this time it goes through, idk if Tui would want to try a third time if it got cancelled- but, i'm gonna stay happy. This is good news

Im super hopeful for this series! Hopefully, the people on the team will do the books justice! (Also, since Hvitur was left out of the graphic novels, I really hope the tv show uses all the book prologues; even if only for my boy to show up on screen lmao-)
