The movie opens with a team of immortals lying dead on the ground. Andy narrates that
she's been in this situati
on countless times, always hoping it's the last, yet always facing
the same outcome. The scene shifts to Morocco, where Andy meets her mate, Booker. They've been
approached by someone from the CIA, a past client, but Andy insists they don't repeat jobs. However,
Booker persuades her, revealing Nicky and Joe, their fellow immortals, await them at the
hotel. Reunited, they share joyous moments, with Nicky even gifting Andy a sandwich. A
playful bet ensues, with Booker winning when Andy guesse
s the sandwich's ingredients. Despite
the reunion, Andy reflects sadly on the changing world and their waning impact. Nevertheless,
she agrees to meet with Copley, the CIA contact, for a new mission. Copley, mourning his wife's
death, unveils the task: rescuing 17 abducted children from militia. With limited time before
their transfer, Andy accepts the mission terms. In South Sudan, Andy's team swiftly neutralizes
guards, progressing toward the abducted children. However, they're ambushed b
y CIA soldiers,
resulting in their apparent deaths. As the soldiers discuss, Andy and her team revive,
retaliating fiercely. Andy realizes Copley's betrayal, leaving him fearful of their power.
Andy, furious at Copley, commands her friends to track him down. The scene shifts to Afghanistan,
where Nile, a girl among locals, distributes candy to children. Tasked with finding a man, she
seeks help from the locals, who secretly guide her. Breaking into the man's location, Nile
is attacked and
fatally wounded. Meanwhile, Andy and her team witness Nile's ordeal, lamenting
the tragedy. Recalling a shared dream, Andy identifies Nile as a US Marine in Afghanistan.
While instructing her friends to locate Copley, Andy sets out to rescue Nile. Visiting Nile's
friends, Dizzy and Jay, they're astounded to find her alive. Suspicious of Nile's inexplicable
survival, they grapple with confusion. At Merrick Pharma, CEO Merrick touts medical
advancements, including dementia treatment. Copley s
hows Merrick footage of Andy's team,
suggesting genetic utilization. Merrick, intrigued yet unaware of the risks, urges
pursuit. Despite Copley's warnings, Merrick orders his security to apprehend Andy. Meanwhile,
Nile is directed to leave Afghanistan for Germany, greeted with indifference by her peers. As
officers escort her to a plane, Andy intervenes, rescuing Nile. Awakening later, Nile confronts
Andy, who offers answers and a path forward, leading her towards a waiting plane. Andy atte
mpts
to calm Nile on the plane, but Nile cunningly stabs her. After Andy heals, she contacts Booker,
noting Nile's potential due to the stabbing. Booker, focused on finding Copley, disconnects.
Andy later dozes off, and Nile, taking charge, binds her hands and holds the pilot at gunpoint.
Ordering a landing, Nile is persuaded by Andy, who reveals her piloting skills. They tussle, and
Andy, overpowering Nile, soothes her with insights into her abilities. Upon reaching Goussainville,
Andy int
roduces Nile to the team during dinner. Nile discovers Booker's origin in 1812 and learns
about the immortals' peculiarities from Andy. Excited about immortality, Nile is sobered
by Andy's revelation about mortality and the mysterious halt of healing. She dreams of Quynh,
an immortal under the ocean, haunted by endless life and death cycles. Nicky recounts Quynh's
past as Andy's comrade, emphasizing her valor. Separated and submerged for 500 years, Quynh
remains elusive despite Andy's effor
ts. Saddened, Nile leaves with Andy. As Nile debates with Andy,
Keane's men attack their safe house. Rushing in, Andy finds Booker injured and learns of Joe and
Nicky's capture. After dispatching Keane's men in the church, Nile witnesses Andy's lethal prowess,
leaving her shaken by the sight of the carnage. In the interim, Joe and Nicky face Keane's
men, who attempt to intimidate them about their relationship. Joe eloquently expresses what
Nicky means to them, leading to a tender kiss. Copl
ey and Keane discover the incapacitated guards
and escort them onto a plane. The following day, Booker and Andy guide Nile to an abandoned
mine filled with Andy's treasures, leaving her awestruck. Later, Merrick confronts Joe,
striking him in disbelief at his healing abilities demonstrated in a video. Nicky's rapid recovery
astonishes Merrick, who then orders their removal, intending to exploit their DNA for mankind's
benefit. Meanwhile, Booker advises Nile about the burden of immortality o
n relationships.
Andy, noticing her waning immortality, retreats to a supermarket for aid. Reflecting
on her past losses, Andy recalls Lykon, her fallen comrade. Outside the cave, Andy shares
a moment with Nile, revealing her painful past of losing her father and her mother's hardships.
She emphasizes the importance of her team as her family, pledging to protect them at any cost.
The next day, as Andy, Booker, and Nile approach Copley's residence, Nile decides to part ways,
expressing her r
eluctance to follow Andy's path. Despite Andy's sadness, she respects Nile's
decision. Meanwhile, Nile, suspicious of a trap, discovers Andy's peril. Inside, Andy confronts
Copley about Joe and Nicky, only to be shot by Booker. When questioned, Booker divulges his
belief that Merrick might find a cure if provided with what he desires. Soon, they notice Andy's
loss of immortality. Before they can intervene, Merrick and his men storm in, seizing Andy and
Booker. Despite realizing Andy's vulne
rability, Merrick still takes her away, incapacitating
Copley when he resists. Andy and Booker are transported to the lab alongside Joe and Nicky.
Booker, owning up to his misdeeds of shooting and betraying Andy, confesses to Joe and Nicky
about her non-healing state. Nicky enlightens Merrick that they aren't truly immortal; they
simply haven't reached their time of death yet, which is imminent for all. Meanwhile, Nile
arrives at Copley's, where he reveals the truth. He explains Andy's long
standing altruism,
highlighting the long-term benefits of her interventions for humanity. Guiding Nile to
Merrick's lab, Copley offers to accompany her, but Nile insists he find safety. Infiltrating the
facility and feigning death, Nile eliminates the guards and eventually reunites with her comrades.
Reminding Andy of her vow to protect her friends, Nile successfully rescues her. Despite Booker's
remorse, Andy urges him to join their cause, rallying them to fight together. United,
Andy and
her team dispatch Merrick's men until Keane intervenes, separating them.
Keane engages in combat with Joe and Nicky, shooting Nicky in the head, enraging Joe. Booker
and Nile shield Andy as she confronts a guard, extracting vital information about Merrick's
location. Strategically, Andy and her team neutralize Keane and his forces, safeguarding
Merrick. Andy and Nile remain in the penthouse while the others pursue Merrick, assuming he fled.
Unexpectedly, Merrick returns, aiming a gun at And
y and coercing Nile to step back. Andy
outwits him, seizing an opportunity to strike with her axe, prompting Nile to plunge with
Merrick, ending his life. As Nile recovers, Andy and her team depart. In the subsequent scene,
Nile and Booker stand by the ocean. Nile retrieves her phone, revealing Copley's plan to safeguard
her family with fabricated news of her demise, leaving Booker apprehensive. Meanwhile, Andy, Joe,
and Nicky approach Booker. Andy informs Booker of his expulsion from the t
eam for a century,
promising a future reunion after his penance. Embracing Andy, Booker acknowledges their unlikely
reunion, bidding farewell. Andy and her team rendezvous with Copley, acknowledging his genuine
intentions. They welcome him into their fold, tasking him with erasing their traces and securing
suitable roles. Copley eagerly accepts the task, propelling the story forward six months.
Booker, grappling with the loss of his comrades, returns home disheartened.
However, his despair
transforms into exhilaration as he steps into his apartment,
only to be greeted by the unexpected presence of Quynh. The movie culminates as she
expresses her joy at seeing him once again.
