One night in a bar, a group of people were playing
a trivia game. Two avid gamers named Max and Annie answered at the same time. Since then, they fell
in love and met each other and often spent time together until finally. the two became friends.
Max even proposed to her while playing games and as true game lovers, the two of them carried
out their marriage contract in an arcade. For years, they had been together but they
hadn’t been blessed with a child. They consulted with a doctor named
Dr. Chin and
the result showed that the quality of Max's seed was not normal. Of course, many factors
influence the result, starting from genetics, and environment, but generally, it was caused
by excessive stress. Annie said that Max had anxiety because his older brother had more
everything than him. His older brother, Brooks, was more successful, more handsome, and more
charismatic. Max felt depressed due to feeling too inferior to his older brother. He denied
that he was jealous of his
older brother, but Dr. Chin instead asked to be introduced to Brooks.
After that, they went home and planned to go back to play fun games so that Max could forget about
his rivalry with Brooks. When they went home, their neighbor, a policeman named Gary soon
greeted Max and wanted to play games together because he was lonely, but they politely
refused because Gary was socially awkward, which of course Gary was disappointed and
seemed to be plotting something for them. That night, Max invited
his friends to play
games together, including Ryan and his crush, then Kevin and his wife, Michelle.
While they were having fun, Brooks, Max’s rich older brother came with a Corvette,
Max’s dream car. Max was certainly jealous of him, who got more and more successful, but he kept
his composure knowing, after all, Brooks was still his brother. At that moment, Gary looked
at him from a distance with a very sharp gaze. Inside, Brooks offended Max by boasting about
his new luxury mansion in t
he next town whose far bigger and better than Max’s little
house. Max certainly felt the insinuation. but Annie diverted the conversation so
that Max didn't get even more offended. Long story short, it was late and they were
all planning to leave. Brook invited them all to come to his mansion next week to play games.
Everyone agreed but Max looked insecure because he knew Brooks just wanted to show off his wealth.
A week later, Max was going to go to Brooks's house when suddenly, Gary startl
ed him and again,
asked him to come play a game but Max ignored him. Finally, Max arrived at Brooks’s house and
it exceeded his expectations. The house was very luxurious with a very large yard. His
friends arrived first and Kevin brought his new girlfriend, Sarah. Seeing Max brought a cheap
board game, Brooks took it and threw it away. He said that tonight's game would be very epic,
unlike Max’s usual cheap games. Brooks said that soon, someone in this room would be kidnapped and
they had
to quickly find him before the kidnapper executed the victim. Whoever managed to find the
victim would get his Corvette. Brooks added that he didn’t like that car and preferred another
car. Everyone was very interested because the car was very expensive, but Max felt annoyed
seeing his arrogant brother. On the other hand, two criminals were seen monitoring
Brooks's house from a distance. Soon, a fake FBI agent named Henderson. They
were given documents containing clues about the kidnapping
mystery that they were going to
solve, but suddenly two real kidnappers came and beat Brooks and Henderson. Nobody knew that
the two people were real criminals and instead cheered on their fight which looked so genuine.
Annie found Brooks's gun that had fallen which she thought was just a toy gun and then kept it.
Brooks asked for help but instead, they watched while saying that Brooks and the actor were acting
very well until finally, Brooks was taken by them. After that, Ryan kicked Hende
rson who he
thought was just pretending but he still didn't wake up because he had actually fainted.
They all read the clue that was given, but they didn't understand any of it. Annie had the idea
to track Brooks's cell phone, so they went ahead, while Sarah found Brooks's wallet and then
proceeded to call the credit card company to find out who the person Brooks had been paying recently
because it could be the person who kidnapped him. Sarah managed to get the address of the paid actor
th
en Ryan locked Kevin and Michelle in the room to reduce his competition then he left there.
Back to Annie who managed to find Brooks's cell phone in the trash. She accidentally saw one
of the kidnappers outside a bar and with Max, they sneaked in. Annie pointed a gun which she
thought was a toy at the kidnappers while the kidnappers were of course afraid because they
knew very well that the gun was real and had a full magazine. Meanwhile, Ryan met Brooks's
hired actor, Melinda, and asked her
to divulge the location where Brooks was taken. Melinda
of course asked for money for the information, however, it turned out that Ryan didn’t have
any money because he had just been fired. On the other hand, Michelle had managed to get
out of the room and Henderson had also woken up. Shortly after, the hired kidnapper actor
wearing a clown mask arrived and was shocked to see Henderson all battered. Henderson said
that he had been attacked by real criminals when they contacted Melinda and
said that Brooks had
really been kidnapped by someone they didn't know. Meanwhile, Max disarmed the kidnappers while Annie
danced with her gun and messed around with the criminals. Max found the key that opened a room
in the bar and found Brooks tied in a chair there. They were happy because they managed to find
Brooks and proceeded to take selfies with him, not knowing that it was a real kidnapping, not a
game. Brooks tried to explain it to them but Max and Annie didn't believe it and play
ed with
the gun which they thought was a toy. Annie was surprised when it banged and dropped
the gun, firing another bullet upon impact with the floor to Max's hand, which made them
finally realize that this was no longer a game. The three of them ran away from there while
being chased by the kidnappers. That was when Brooks admitted that he was not an investor but a
smuggler for the black market. He made a mistake because he sold a Fabergé egg to other people,
which made someone called th
e Bulgarian angry. The egg was initially meant for the Bulgarian,
however, because someone named Marlon Freeman dared to pay twice as much, Brooks betrayed the
agreement and sold it to Marlon. That was what made the Bulgarian hunt him down. He could have
repurchased the egg but unfortunately, he couldn't find Marlon because Marlon Freeman was just an
alias. Brooks also said that they should not report it to the police because the Bulgarian also
placed his spies in the police. Knowing there
was no other way to run and not wanting to drag his
brother and sister-in-law into big trouble, Brooks decided to jump out of the car and give himself
up to buy time for Max and Annie to escape. Max was confused by all this. Even though Brooks
was an arrogant person, he was still his brother. With his hand being shot, they also couldn't
go to the hospital because the hospital would report it to the police since the wound was a
firearm wound. Annie had the idea to go to the vet but they know
no vet. Finally, they went
to a convenience store to buy some stuff to help them do an emergency surgery on the go. They
then got a call from Michelle saying that police had arrived at Brooks’s house. Annie panicked
and told them not to say anything about Brooks while whispering that the police were mafia spies.
They finally did the surgery. Annie, who didn't know how to take out a bullet, tried searching
first for a tutorial. Max's mouth was stuffed with a toy to hold the pain. After disin
fecting a
box cutter, Annie made a small incision according to the tutorial, but instead of making a small
one, she went too far and made a big incision, which of course made Max angry because of the
pain. Annie continued the surgery and poked something hard, thinking that she had found the
bullet, but it turned out that it was Max's bone and she couldn't find the bullet at all. Only then
did they realize that the bullet had gone through. They all gathered at Brooks's house and the police
were no longer there. Max said they had to find someone named Marlon Freeman to look for the
Fabergé egg to save Brooks but they had to find Marlon Freeman’s real name first. Confused about
what Marlon Freeman's real name was and where to find it, Ryan said that his ex-girlfriend once
showed him the police database that contained all aliases and was sure that they could find
Malon Freeman’s real name there, but for that, they had to open the police computer without the
police knowing and th
e only way was to open Gary's computer. They then pretended to hold a game
night in Gary’s house. Gary, who was lonely, was certainly happy to welcome his friends. He
was lonely since his wife, Debbie, left him. Soon, Max excused himself to the toilet and
then quietly entered Gary's room to look for his computer. There, he saw lots of photos of Gary and
Debbie. Max tried to log in to the computer but unfortunately, he didn't know what the password
was. After seeing how much Gary loved his w
ife, Max typed Debbie’s name and he was right.
Max looked for Marlon's name in the police database and his real name was Donald Anderton.
He then wrote down the address without realizing that blood was dripping from his wound.
Suddenly the door opened and it turned out to be Gary's dog that smelled the blood
and then licked the droplets on the floor. Max then typed the name of the Bulgarian and
found out that he was a big-time criminal mafia, which of course made Max worried, afraid that hi
s
brother would be executed by him. He rushed back before Gary got suspicious and was shocked to
see that Gary's dog was tainted with his blood. He tried to wipe it with a shirt. Unfortunately,
he accidentally bumped into Gary's figure on the table and broke it, which made him reflexively
shout. Gary heard that and was about to check on him but Sarah quickly diverted his attention
by asking him to tell her about Debbie. Gary, who loved his wife, finally sat down again
and started telling t
hem about Debbie. Back to Max, who was now confused about
what to do. Instead of getting cleaner, the stains actually spread all over the dog.
Not only that, he became increasingly frustrated because the shirt turned out to have a photo of
Debbie on it. Max finally gave up and invited his friends to return home before Gary found out.
In the car, the kidnapper called Max and said that they had captured Brooks. Max
told them not to kill his brother and promised he would find the Fabergé egg.
F
inally, they arrived at Donald Anderton’s mansion but were confused about how to get
inside. Shortly after, a supercar came out of there and Max rushed in before the gate closed.
After successfully entering the luxurious house, they couldn’t find anyone but a few employees
preparing food. There was a faint noise coming from downstairs, which turned out to be
rich people betting on street fighters. They split up looking for the Fabergé egg while
Ryan was having fun watching the fight. That w
as when he saw a guard there storing the betting
money in the safe which also had the Fabergé egg inside. Ryan secretly approached while
taking advantage of the crowd noise, but then, one of the fighters was thrown towards him
and he was caught red-handed trying to steal the egg which made everyone stare at him. Donald
asked who he was and what he was doing with his Fabergé egg. Ryan casually answered that
the egg was very big and immediately ran away from there. The guards tried to get the
egg back while Max and the others tossed the egg back and forth, trying to outwit the guards.
Luckily, after a tearful struggle, they finally got the egg. They rushed to find the location
promised by the kidnapper but on their way, they accidentally broke the egg. That was
when Annie found a paper in it containing a list of people's names. Then they met
the kidnapper who was already waiting. They were all told to lie down while the
kidnapper called his boss to immediately come. Knowing he
would sure die that night,
Brooks told Max not to be insecure anymore. He told Max how he was jealous of him and his
happy family. He also said that he rigged this game so that Max could win it by telling Max
to take something from his jacket pocket. it turned out that Brooks had put the car keys
in his pocket and planned everything so that his younger brother would win. Despite his arrogant
nature, Brooks still loved his younger brother. Max was moved but soon, the Bulgarian showed
up and
ordered his men to execute them. They were all lucky because Gary showed up and
managed to eliminate all the kidnappers. Everyone was shocked to see the cool side of
Gary that night. Gary said that he realized Max had gone into his computer and thought
something was wrong so he decided to follow them, but suddenly, Gary was shot by one of the
kidnappers who turned out to be still alive. While waiting for an ambulance to come, Max
apologized to dying Gary for never inviting him to their gam
e nights and promised to
always invite him in the future. Gary just left a message to him to take care of his dog
who had been his only friend, which of course made Max feel guilty for always ignoring him.
It turned out that everything was fake. The blood was just fake. Gary was
the one who planned everything, even the kidnapper was a paid actor. That day
when Max refused to let him join the Game night, he planned his game and involved all of them
in it. Brooks was angry because he almost h
ad a heart attack because it felt so real. Max
also mad because he got to get shot for the game. Gary was confused because the paid actors
were just using fake guns. Brooks admitted that it was his gun which was real. They then asked
who the Bulgarian was while giving him a list of names on the paper which according to
Gary was a list of people who were in the witness protection program or WITSEC.
Not long after that, the Bulgarian, the real one, showed up and shot Gary. He
was looking for
the list and Max promised to give it to them if he let them live. The
Bulgarian agreed with that, but Brooks, who knew that the Bulgarian would still execute
them all, chose to swallow the list to buy time. He was then taken by them to be operated on a jet
plane and Brooks warned Max not to follow him. Brooks was going to be operated on in the plane
when suddenly, Max showed up in a Corvette. The Bulgarian told the pilot to immediately fly
while Max tried to hit the wheels of the jet, but i
nstead, he missed it and then tried
to hit it once again, and thankfully, he managed to hit it on the second try.
The plane slipped and stopped, but unfortunately, Max's dream car was also dented. Annie was
told to hide while Max took cover behind his car. Annie made a noise to distract the guard’s
attention then Max told Annie to turn on the belt so that a wooden box fell on the guard’s
head. Unfortunately, instead of being fast, the conveyor was running very slowly
and the plan failed mis
erably. Luckily, Annie hit the guard with a fire extinguisher.
Inside the jet, the Bulgarian had woken up from fainting and found out that the pilot
fainted. When he was about to kill Brooks, they heard steps from the roof which turned
out to be Max. He threatened the Bulgarian with a gun but his gunshot wound was thrown by
a knife which made him in pain and dropped the gun. A fight broke out between them.
Outside, Annie tried to find out what happened but the guard had woken up and held
her
at gunpoint. Annie begged him to let her go while saying that her child was waiting
at home but the guard didn't believe it after seeing Annie's body. At the same time, the turbine
engine lever was pushed by Max who was fighting, and when the engine was turned on, the guard
was sucked into the engine and died horribly. Max was still fighting when the Bulgarian
managed to grab the weapon, but luckily, Annie managed to hit him with a fire extinguisher
and then rushed to untie Brooks. At that
moment, Max finally realized that he shouldn't
feel insecure because Brooks's success was nothing but a lie. He also wanted to have a
baby with Annie. Annie was of course very happy because her husband was no longer depressed.
Meanwhile, Brooks just smiled to see them. 3 months later, life returned to normal. Max and
Annie still liked to have game nights with their friends and Gary was included this time.
Brooks said that he became house arrest, but he was still happy because he managed to
sell
the WITSEC list he swallowed before to someone for 3 million dollars on the black market. Max was
mad at him because the people on the list were going to be killed, but Brooks said that he
had told the people to run away and instead, he was given 20,000 dollars of thanks from each
person on the list. Not only that, it turned out that Brooks was now dating Dr. Chin and would
soon get married after his detention period ended. Gary was no longer lonely. His friends always
invited him fo
r game nights. On the other hand, Annie finally announced that she had succeeded
in getting pregnant, which of course made Max the happiest man in the world. Without them
knowing, two armed men were about to raid them.
