The "Heysel stadium disaster" in Brussles: Liverpool vs. Juventus, 1985 when fans were pressed against a collapsing wall, 39 people died and 600 were injured in the confrontation (the fan rampage before). After this the game was played despite the disaster in order to prevent further violence.
