With the mandates for carbon reduction that the government and agencies are self-imposing, the technology is going to have to keep up. So, hydrogen has its set of challenges. Battery electric has its set of challenges. And as that technology matures, agencies are going to have to hop on the band wagon and help drive that industry so it's usable. Right now, the large manufacturers are looking for the direction. They have a lot of prototypes and demonstration vehicles. With it, it is going to take
the influx of capital funds to get the manufacturing stood up and to perfect the technology. So, it will be changing over the next 5-10 years, but the existing service needs to run. With the facilities, the facilities need to continue to maintain and provide service for the existing fleet. At the same time, the opportunity to upgrade and design or modify facilities to support the new technology and vehicles coming in is always a challenge. As the technology advances, the agencies need to pick a
path and that path will dictate the next generation of facilities and fleet. It is very technology dependent and agency dependent because the different technologies have different characteristics for the amount of people they have to move, the amount of mileage they have to cover, whether it's a rail application or a bus application.
