I enjoy the speed of self check-in but prefer the sturdier boarding pass but I guess we can’t have our cake and eat it too Lunch before our flight, the plan was to eat at Jewel but we saw this The tendon is definitely the preferred of the 2 A cute little mirror on the under side of the table! The struggle to open this box is real! Flight meals are often a miss but this tomyum vermicelli was good And we have arrived! We made it out of the airport in 30 minutes, truly a feat! Opted for the train t
o avoid the jam, and the motion sickness The wardrobe can be accessed from inside and outside The toilet’s quite big and really clean! Considerably early so we’re heading out to start shopping! I remember coming here once and really loving it, but this time... This was all I got out of here Was a very good smoothie though, no regrets Second round, since the first didn’t have much and we have time! First supper! Cheap phad thai, it’s not too bad, just a little salty 1 pastry shared by 2, just nic
e Sadly the crabmeat in the omelette wasn’t fresh other than that, everything’s good but I don’t think it’s worth going down specially for a meal Their MRT mirrored window is so clear! Not hungry but it looked so good, glad that it tastes as good too! The only thing I remembered my camera for in Chatuchak Special Mention, this fried pancake was so good, but we only saw it once I found some sticker shops in Siam area! Excited to head there Pitstop: Fangirling even when I’m overseas Another unexpe
cted fangirl opportunity Filled to the brim with katsu but there’s still space for ice cream! Heard that some people queued for hours for this Didn’t queue, worth it Ending the night with this view! I love free bread but this sourdough was too sour... The butter was nice though Not usually a smoothie person but it’s been so good here! Love that the lemon is wrapped, no need to pick up seeds! My sister “Got 2 chance” Second chance went well, we just went with a terrible angle... Didn’t enter the
exhibition but did some merch shopping instead! It’s a lot more crowded than I thought! Buying whatever we can to make a meal Didn’t know this existed until my sis brought it up Only got the salads here and the boss was nice to let us eat there Strawberry Limeade which was a little too sweet I didn’t know it was in Michelin until I was done eating... Didn’t expect chunks of oranges!! Out of the way but worth the travel, especially for the roast pork Found a wholesale supermarket nearby I held ba
ck, the market also wasn’t as impressive as the one in Korea Sour mango as a lime replacement to go with phad thai, so good! Noodles are good, soup is interesting with coconut flesh in it The impossible mission of trying to capture the setting sun Watching the chef prep our dinner~ I have no idea what was on top, couldn’t get it because accent... 1 of the most performative and yummy course! Look at the fat leftover from the chutoro! Another bout of gold dust~ This time it’s gold flakes Tried to
record the spongy sound from the cake but didn’t work, so here’s a clip of me torturing the cake instead... Full from Omakase but mango sticky rice cannot be missed! We ended up only going night market the first night Ending our last night with massage Disappointing Pandan cake, hoping it’ll be as good as the fried one but nope... The flavour was too artificial and not fragrant Taking a break while my sister continues shopping Last and best massage of the trip, albeit impromptu I truly do prefer
street food compared to restuarants It’s not too bad except the tomyum soup is on the sweeter side Going into Bangkok was quite fast, but coming out was even faster, it only took us 10 mins to get through customs! Happy that the hot towels are back on flight! One of the things I can’t help but be proud off as a Singaporean, iykyk Yellow fish curry with rice, also not too bad but first meal was nicer! Time flies, we’re already heading back~ Brought our own dessert/supper on flight, marking the e
nd of our Bangkok trip with the most expensive mango sticky rice
