Jen you wrote about this exact topic I want to remind people you have a long history as as a conservative thinker and columnist in in this country you wrote about this topic a couple of weeks ago in a piece titled duty to warn ex-trump advisers can alert voters to his unfitness and you write about people like the former Chief of Staff John Kelly the former Attorney General Bill bar people who saw Trump up close they were in the room where it happened and the warnings that they've already given a

bout Donald Trump but you believe they can do more absolutely I think they are a critical mass that if they joined together and they went around the country or they cut ads or they appeared on news programs as a unit I think it would make a big difference I think one or the other speaking out is certainly helpful I don't want to diminish that but frankly the media's attention um gets called when there is something very unusual very distinguished very uh kind of dramatic and that's what I think i

t very clear as she did this week in Iowa she doesn't share the Biden administration's views on many policies but she makes the point that you make all the time people can have policy disagreements but we cannot allow Donald Trump to torch the Constitution and democracy Ellie it's it's meaningless for these for for Trump officials to say Trump is unfit to be president it's utterly meaningless if they say that and then don't say and vote for the only man who can keep Trump out of the White House

ing judges judges families and the rest this is an assault on Democracy this is assault on the rule of law if we allow him to do it we will have chaos and this is allowing a two-tiered system of justice and at some point the same rules that apply to all of us have to apply to Donald Trump Joe I want your take on this but I also want to just ask tell you another piece of information that you may or may not know about this video which is still up on Trump's true social page we we asked for comment

we we got a comment from Trump spokesman Steven Chung who's always you know been good at getting back to us and he said this was just a an image on the back of a pickup truck that was traveling down the highway and that's always the version of the Trump excuse I didn't do it I didn't say anything there was no threat I'm just showing you the picture of a tied up current president of the United States with his eyes closed uh in lying on his side on the back of a pick drop that's the kind of way i
