Hello everyone and welcome, want to make your first animated text in Blender? in this tutorial I will explain step by step how to do it easily and without too much complication so stay until the end and you will see the result it will be wonderful so without further ado, we begin our tutorial. Here we go friends so we select these elements we delete them we are going to go here in add we are going to add a plane we are going to scale it a little we are going to add a cylinder, there is a small w
indow which is displayed so we are going to put 120 here and we close I'm going to press GZ to make it go up and I come here I decrease its size like that, we press GZ to make it go down we press S to increase its size we come back here like that we will not be disturbed and I press right click and we are going to make a duplicate of this text we press GZ to make it go up and then s to reduce its size like that so here is our podium it is almost ready we are going to bring the plan down a little
lower so our scene, our podium it is ready we are now going to add our text we are going to do RX 90 to put it vertically we are going to do GZ to mount it and we are going to the text properties we are going to put it at center we are going to choose a Font I am going to choose this one so we go here in object mode we are going to put edit mode we are going to delete this text and we are going to put the first letter in upper case and the others in lower case we come back and we close now we a
re going in geometry we are going to extrude it like this its shape changes we are going to put a very small DEEP just 0.01 like that we have this little reflection there which appears so now our podium is ready everything is ready so I am going to take the text now I I'm going to animate the text before moving on to shading so here I take the text I go to the properties of the object text i.e. the location the rotation and increase the size or decrease the size so now what is it? what we're goi
ng to do we're already going here we're going to insert a key we're going to come to 60 we're going to make the text disappear and I'm inserting a key so now if I press PLAY so I demulated the size to 120 like So here is our text here it should normally disappear I have done the things I replace the key and at 60 frame I raise my text I insert a key after here at 70 I am going to rotate this text on we're going to leave it like that and we're going to come up to 100 we're going to rotate on the
Z axis by 360 degrees I insert a key so if I play there the text goes up there because I didn't put rotation we are going to raise it to 60 we are going to do we are going to set it to zero like that and I insert a key so here is our text it will come here it will go up and then it will rotate 360° and get back on place like this now for the text it's good now we're going to do we're going to take this we're going to go down to the bottom we're going to take this cylinder already we do auto smoo
th, right click we're going to make them smooth so I take the first one here in the location I'm going to put it, we're also going to move it down to the bottom and we're going to insert a key, we're going to come to 60, we're going to put it at 30, it has to go up before the text, so I'm going to put it in its place and I'm going to insert a key it's easy now we take this one we're going to return to zero the same we're going to lower it to the bottom and we're going to insert a key so there at
30 it's the first one to arrive the big one now at 40 we're going to move it up the small one must be before the text and I insert a key so now if we do play here is our animation it's very easy and everyone can make it so now that we have finished that so here we go see already is it touching? yeah it touches so there I'm going to bring it up like that and I replace it like that the text it doesn't touch our podium so now if we do play that's it's good now we're going to move on to the materia
lization of this scene but before like I always says you have to go either in File and you are going to save your project you give it a name and you put it in a corner, why because if ever blender it stops for one reason or another at least you are not going to start from the beginning you are going to start again from there so it's easy or you put control S and you will see the window appear to tell you where you want to save your project you give it a name and you save it so now we move on to
animation and materialization of this project so I come here you see there is the little extra that appears we go up like this and we will come here we go to shader editor we close that now you see that the scene is black if we go here in Word properties that is to say the environment we see that it is black what interests us we are going to illuminate our scene with an HDRI image so I go here to texture environment and I am going to open an HDRI image, I have already downloaded HDRI images whic
h are in my computer, for you if you want to have HDR images it is 360° images you go to Google you will type free HDRI and the first site for example that you see there, you enter and you see there are the HDRI images, the textures there are the models so you go in there there are lots of images and you can download them for free and that's the best way, it's a trick to illuminate the scene without worrying each time with the light and the spots so we come back to Blender there now our scene is
illuminated we will start by giving material to each thing, here so it's easy now we start with the plan we we're going to give it a color we press here we're going to give it a color for example we're going to make it black if we want we can make it metallic we come here, this one we're going to leave it like that white I prefer to leave it white this one -here we are going to give it a color for example red and we are going to put it metallic the text we are going to put it metallic and that
is white we are going to decrease a little so we have three colors we are going to put that also metallic gray like that we will have not a lot of color we're going to bring it down too that's how we're going to decrease that a little bit now we're going to add our camera now that it's added we're going to type alt control 0 and we're going to come next to here, we're going to press N and we see this window which appears we go to view we will put camera to view this means that the camera will fo
llow the movement of the cursor so we press n to make that disappear, now if I touch to calibrate the image it follows me if I change you see the camera it follows the movement so it's as if it follows the scene it's very simple for the animation so now we're going to get to the essentials either if you stay on EEVEE you put you activate these 4 boxes and you are going to go down here in color management you are going to put high contrast here so now our scene is ready you increase the plan like
this we are going to go down like this we can see clearly, so you choose the angle that you like you come into the camera to refine that so you go down if you want to zoom in even more you put it like this and you calibrate with here shift x and shift y so if you want to see the image how it is you go here in the rendering and you type the rendered image and here is your image I see that the plan we are going to lower it to show because we made we put this one chrome and the other one we put it
black so it we have to change the color of the plan, we are going to put it in the simplest way, it is white, we are going to put it completely not metallic and this one we are going to increase, we leave it metallic but we increase the shine, there is less shine if we do it like this it's too bright, like that less bright so if I put black to see now we see our part of the podium so if I render the image there you see it's already better so if we move on in cycles it is necessary to activate t
he GPU, decrease that's 30 for example and the number here you put it at 120 as it's a simple animation and you're going to come there it's good it's activated you're going to choose an angle there too and you zoom in you choose a name angle which either good for the brightness and especially for the and if you want to decrease the light in our HDRI image it's this way it's the simplest way so you come here in Word there we put the HDR image and you see the stretch and you decrease or increase u
ntil you find the brightness that you like I leave it by default on 1 so I leave it on 1 there for the angle you choose me I will already scale the plan like that and we choose an angle so there by default as we did the animation so it will give me this shot there so if we go to the image here is our image so we will wait for it to finish and for the animation you will here so you are seeing there as I am recording so I press OBS this is the software with which I record my videos so if you want
the animation you come here in output property and you will go down here and instead of putting PNG you will put FF MPEG video and you will choose a folder where you want to put your project, your animation and here in encoding you will put MPEG 4 and here you will put high quality and then there if you do it either on cycles or on Eeve both they are good and as I said you choose a folder where you want to put this animation you can do it either on EEVEE or on cycles so here is our animation how
It's okay, it's very easy and everyone can do it so that's it for this tutorial, it's over so if you like what I did don't forget to like and comment and above all to subscribe in the channel like this you will be notified every time I post new videos on YouTube and this will encourage me to do even more tutorials so with that I say goodbye and be well
