✦ Hey guys, here is my first piano cover from the Chainsaw Man opening theme "KICK BACK" by Kenshi Yonezu. It's definitely one of the catchiest songs I have heard in a while, no matter how many times you listen to it, it simply never gets boring.
✦ when I first saw the actual anime opening I couldn't believe my ears with the crazy amount of key changes this song had followed up with its chaotic energy. I think Mr. Yonezu and Tsuneta Daiki from King Gnu did an amazing job bringing this banger to life.
✦ also shout out to Animenz for his fire arrangement, attempting to bring the chaotic rhythm of Kick Back on the piano in the most amazing way.
✦ it was a quite challenging song to perform, even though I managed to finish the whole thing in less than a week but I still had to practice for over 12hrs in the first two days in order to get it done as soon as possible.
but it was so worth it and I really enjoyed the process of making this cover!
