That was EXCELLENT. I did not see that coming. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done. Also, I really want one of those rucksacks. 😀
I watched this short with my friend. We were so captivated by the atmosphere. Beautiful art. Congrats to everyone who created it.
I clicked on this completely by accident. I'm glad I kept watching! Awesome, subbed.
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this! Cinematography was outstanding and the story was captivating - I think I held my breath the whole time he was in his sleep pod thing - brilliant - please can we have more???? 🥰
A superlative short. Well done. Thankyou!
WOW! This film was that of blockbuster quality. Original ideas and storyline. Would love to see a full film made out if this. Absolute perfection of a film.
Well done! Very mysterious, including the soundtrack! Keep up the good work.
Wat een heerlijk beklemmende, futuristische SF film met een voortreffelijke rol van Leon van Waas.
Amazing work! The lighting and camera work was engrossing and the score matched the mysterious theme while still reinforcing the monotony. I LOVED the window seat shots with the actor in them, with his inner and outer gaze towards earth physically being the center of his small, otherwise lifeless world (heh) as well. I thought that the social isolation was a little flat, with a few moments or some dialogue by the intercom then I might have known if his life was intended to be that way or his obsession made him choose. The shot of his slouch spoke volumes about his distraction and discontent compared to his neighbors, as well as his nonconformity. I was hoping for a second to show a hint at why he was different. A choice to sit alone or leaving his seat with his head turned away while giving the impression that someone has joined him would have increased the sense of choosing isolation in service of an unhealthy obsession or a “citizen, unauthorized proximity” announced while turning around and stumbling after choosing a tray would have given the world an understandably unbearable feel. The dreams were tactile to the point of sensuality, so the chance to contrast that to the real world would have given it much more interest and dimension other than ‘he seems bored and unfulfilled’ (which admittedly was quite popular in the late 90s but seems stale now). But aside from that small nitpick, I thought it was incredibly good and very engrossing. I hope that you find success in getting it featured. I’m quite intrigued about how your script plays out. Even more how your team brings it to life. Thank you so much for sharing it with the world. Best of luck!
great cinematography
....thoroughly enjoyed this story. I am so amazed at what can be done in under 30 minutes. Again, the site location is captivating, like so many of these shorter story films how donyou find them. It is hard to believe that so many visually stunning locations exist. This one is exceptional, was it filmed? Great job, truly.
Still!. There's no place like home. That was a brilliant little production..
Fantastic! Absolutely Fantastic! Bravo! This film managed to tell a truly unique and thrilling story without using a single line of dialogue. And that, strangely enough, is a feat many of Hollywood's films today cant achieve with a hundred page long script... Thanks a million to all of the talented individuals who worked on this project, I loved every minute of it!
Great. The G2 is very clean!
What an achievement, thoroughly enjoyed it all.
Sebastien's music score was a masterpiece and the heroin of Uncario's allure! Bravo Evelyn Stommel and a tip of the Fedora to Clifton Stommel, Mauricio van Hasselt, Leon van Waas, and all involved in the making of the reel Uncario.
This was amazing! Thank You ❤️
Outstanding!!! Thank you 😀
Great acting and super visuals. Thank you!
Amazing all around! Awesome set design as well. Iceland? BMPCC4 or 6k? Which glass?
