How are you doing today, my sweet? I'm very well, you look very handsome. I went to the barbers and I got my hair did and I got my beard did and I feel like a million bucks as they say. Million bucks? You said that in England, million bucks? No one says it in England. No one says it in England. You can't say something that sounds American in... But that's how I feel. This video is specific. That's how I feel. I left the barbers like... Oh, oh, oh, oh. I had a wonderful morning. I'm very glad to
hear that. Hello. Hiya. I'm Toy. I'm Goy. And Koy is in bed. Koy is looking for the sun. He tried to... He found an area with a bit of sunshine and he sat... He went and sat underneath the clothes dryer because there was this much sun coming in through the window. And then he just stood there like... He wanted to feel like million bucks. And welcome to... Value the Music. And we are with... King. We did a joke last year. It's the big day. It's the first of March. We were all felt a bit dizzy and
we were waiting for the UK's entry for Eurovision 2024 starting after... If this is your first time in our channel... Leave a tip if you'd like. You said that. If they'd like, I wouldn't, but they might. And welcome. Please consider subscribing to our channel if you haven't done so and also thank you so much for All the views, likes, comments and of course there's new subscribers and our... The wonderful veterans. Veterans. I like the veterans. Well, I came to appreciate the word. I hope you gu
ys appreciate that compliment. It's important to say whatever we are saying here, we are sharing with you our honest opinion. We do not wish to offend, hurt, insult or objectifying neither the singer nor your nation, but most importantly not anybody else. However, If we are offending you, we are sorry. We've experienced that, yeah? We have experienced that. How are you feeling when we are coming to react to a song from the United Kingdom? Same way I approach parenting. Zero expectations. Wow. Ju
st keep giving, keep giving, keep giving, expect nothing back. Keep giving, are you giving what? Your license fee to BBC? Yes. Olly Alexander was announced months ago. Ages ago. AGEES AGO. And the hype was so high and personally I don't know Olly Alexander as much. What I do know about Olly Alexander is, is acting skills in... "It's a Sin" which I did not really like. But... Years and years have some good songs. He has some good songs as solo. We could be surprised. I'm leaving my baggage aside
or trying, trying to... The song title is Dizzy. And all that sums up in my head is that 80 song. I'm just hoping it doesn't sound anything like that. I thought that he didn't say that it sounds like Conkers Conkers? Conkers Conkers? I'm collecting. Nothing about Dizzy in that. It is making you dizzy if you collect too many Conkers no? Conkers has nothing to do with getting Dizzy. I don't know about the song. If Conkers lands on your head. Well, it'll hurt. But... It'll hurt. OK, besides that, a
ny expectations? I imagine it's going to be electro-upbeat. From some of the things he said he was like, "Oh, it's going to be a gay party along those lines." And that's a fine line between being cheese and good. So I'm hoping we straddle the right side of the line. Just want to enjoy it. To be honest, I really want to enjoy it. I want to be behind the UK entry. I want to have the feeling I had when we listened to May muller's song. But for that feeling to translate into the live. Because... We
all know what happened last year. As a studio, I wrote a song. It's a banger. Yes, I will still stand behind it as a studio. He has had a career performing, so hopefully we aren't going to have that kind of car crash. OK, let's do it. Don't say let's do it, because you know who we sound like. Let's watch together. Definitely aren't them. The UK's entry for Eurovision 2024. Starting... Oh, it's a video not a performance. No, why would it perform? I thought it was meant to be performing at somewh
ere. I think tonight. Why are you putting so much pressure on Olly already? I just... Just... The postman's here. OK, I'm enjoying the instrumental so far. It's all synthy and it's nice. It's developing layers of synth. It sounds like it's building to somewhere. So do you remember the last few years when there's been a big deal about what the UK's doing? And they're like, "Oh, we're working with TAP Records." Oh, and these people who've produced for Dua Lipa are producing. And the songs have nev
er sounded like to that caliber. This is sounding like it's to that caliber. OK. Yeah. OK. Where's it going? I don't know. I'm feeling a bit dizzy. I thought it was going to be a bit more happy. And I'm not sad that it has more of a mood. OK. I hope there's a second part to the chorus. Like some kind of instrumental little break. Because it's very good. The chorus wasn't that much of an exciting change from the verse. No. And I can't say to you at this point that it makes me really excited. No.
It's nicely produced. Yes. I'm going to be the critic because we are speaking the English language. The words aren't very inspired. They're fine. I remember that I forgot something and it really bothers me that I'm not wearing it. Oh. Wait a second. Oh. Maybe I felt the need to remind Olly Alexander something. That second verse was a bit more exciting and the drum fill and the transition into the chorus was a bit more impactful. It's very, very nice. But it's not filling me with like, wow. I mea
n. Like May muller's song really got me excited and then crashed. But we're only halfway through. But we're at a point and we haven't elevated beyond that point. It's all steady. It feels quite steady. For a song to be out there in Eurovision, to be remembered, to be, to get people excited and on board with it, it needs to have this, it needs to have this twist. Maybe there will be a twist in the remaining time that the song has. And we have reacted to already 20 plus songs. Some of them grabbed
us from the fast moment. Some of them. Grabbed us for the wrong reasons as well. Grabbed us from the wrong reasons. And I said it in one of the videos, when a song is mediocre, it's the worst thing that a song can have in Eurovision. Yeah. And I feel Dizzy is a mediocre song. Yeah. There's nothing wrong. I'm so sorry. The production is lovely, but it feels very static. And in a way. From the beginning to the chorus, we haven't changed much. And in a way, very safe. Yes. And. It does feel safe.
But when we say safe in Eurovision, it's not necessarily a good news for a song. Yeah. A song needs to make you feel something. Most of the songs we felt strongly angry did very well in the competition. Yeah. Having a feeling either way is much better than just. And I'm a bit. Okay. Oh, he's doing Pilates as well. Quite vocally. I don't want to say flat, but unexciting as well. And now what? Is he going to dance? Are they going to bring a sandpit? Video is cool. The video is cool, but it's like
it's showing you that he can move, he can dance and doing all of that. Is he going to do it while he's performing? Probably not, because that will affect his vocals. So you'll have to have probably dancers. As long as he doesn't have trombones that dancing around him, that would be good news. But. And again, I would say it's quite disappointing it's mediocre. Yeah. It just feels all at one level. But I'm glad we didn't go in that gay camp root. Yes. Okay. I'm very glad we didn't go there. I was
expecting. There is a mood to this. There is a mood. A bit. I was expecting Sequin, Camp, Drag Queens, the works. But it's not. And I'm glad. It's just a nice song. There was a lot of hype around the fact that Olly Alexander is going to represent the UK, the UK for some reason, for whatever reason. I don't know how this is working. I don't know how the odds are working before the songs are being released. He was spending there in the first place for a few weeks and then he was still staying in t
he top five for longer. I am so sorry. I think that the UK would be very lucky if they escape from the bottom five. It's fine. And again, it's not because the song is bad. It's absolutely fine. It's not because the song is bad. We got it completely wrong with Spaceman. I think they made something in the performance that elevated Sam. Sam as a persona and the staging was outstanding. They made the whole package because Sam brought some vulnerability to his own performance. People could have conne
cted to it. Now, Olly probably will rely on his fan base. The fan base is big out there. Would it be enough to get the UK top 10? No. Top 20? Maybe. It's sitting there with other male electronic songs in the contest which are significantly more exciting. Okay. And the songs really progress. Exactly my point. That song goes somewhere. It starts, it hooks you and by the end you're like, "Wow." This started and went, "Look at me. This is all I'm going to do for three minutes." And the song was very
anticlimactic. Didn't feel like there was any difference between the verses and the chorus. And that's disappointing. It is and maybe we are a bit more critical when it comes to the UK. Maybe. Because we are in the UK. We want our country. I want to love it. We want our country. I want to feel like I did last year before May Muller did the same. Yeah, but you know what? Lyrically this was fine. Musically it was fine. It's all just fine and that's not enough. They need really to step up the stag
ing in order to... I can't imagine what to do because it doesn't feel upbeat enough to do a big showy thing. But it doesn't feel moody enough to do a moody thing. It doesn't give you that... No, it wasn't making me go, "It doesn't give you that." So it's kind of a dance. Slow dance. But slow dance. I'm disappointed, I have to say. I'm not because I had no expectations. No, I'm glad it's not... Tripe. Tripe because it's not a tripe. But I was hoping to be excited and it didn't bring any wow. Wow
factor is missing. Big time. Let us know in the comments below what you thought about the UK entry for Eurovision 2024 and Apologies. Don't Apologies for having feelings and being honest. Beğenin veya beğenmeyin her şarkıyı dinledikten sonra alkışlamanız saygın olduğunuzu gösteriyor. Bu yüzden sizleri seviyorum. ❤❤

@barlasakbulut4491

Şarkı çok güzel, fakat klibi daha çok beğendim. Olly'nin sesi de harika. 👍

@marks4754

I think until we see the performance. It’s hard to really know how it will do. Olly is a great performer and will bring vulnerability amd a professional element to it. Fingers crossed.

@Its.jokas123

Where is cyprus lol

@simondudley4679

I don't feel this song immediately hits but after a few listens it's a bit of a earworm. The more I hear it the more I'm feeling it. Unfortunately on the night you get one shot at it and that may be the first time some voters might hear it and just won't get it. I think itsvgonna be a hit on the radio but not so much in the arena.

@saranissen6210

I really like it, 5th place for me so far, but we have many strong entries this year, so it's gonna be tough. I feel The UK won't end up in the bottom 5, but not a winning song either. But fingers crossed. Maybe a top 10 finnish if performed really well.

@rosaliaapparia-on3px

His voice is very similar to Boy George's, very nice 🙂

@rexation8952

I put this in the same vein of Iru's "Echo" from Georgia 🇬🇪 last year...starts at a level of voice that is very good, but doesn't crescendo or go anywhere. Sooo...Germany has a chance to not be last place now, because I actually like Issak's song better now.

@Monzeitia

Very friendly radio song, reminds me so much of Pet Shop boys and I’m up for it as I’m a big fan of them, the 80’s sound is very in trend in Europe at the moment perhaps not as much in the UK and I do think knowing Olly as a performer he is going to do very well, he is a big fan of Eurovision and who knows, remember Sam Ryder, no one thought he could win, well he was so close, let’s be positive about our entry, I know Olly will give it all in Malmo, this won’t be a Mae Muller disaster

@applesnow6516

it is a nice cute song , I like it. Croatia still the best

@nikosstefanidis4551

The song need revamp for Eurovision! It’s a good song but need something more ! Good luck

@oleksandrlev7604

Must be national selection! Can you image how many cool songs UK could have on it ?!!!

@evangelosmesolongitis1695

I have faith for his stage abilities and the music production of the song. I feel he will give us a decent show in a night of so many joke entries.

@alipanroosendaal9503

After listening to it a couple of times you won't be able to get that chorus out of your head. - So, don't listen to it again. Heed my warning. 😉- They went safe with a PSB medley to hopefully avoid a bad result. Not sure they will though.

@hanasahulova4357

I agree with Toy, I'm also a bit disappointed. Even though I didn't know Olly until now, there was such a hype about him that I really expected something more. Plus it's a big name, Olly's a star, he's representing England which are finals assured, so it really should be something more risky and authentic. But then again, I'm glad that Olly went to the ESC himself voluntarily and gladly. He was looking forward to it so I don’t want to be too critical of him. He is a big boost for England and hopefully there will be more talented young people who will be happy to go to Eurovision in the future inspired by Olly. I think he will finish in top 15 at the best but definitely not the last. Good luck Olly🤞

@AJKostov

Well at least the house from last year didn’t go to waste but looks different may must of cut it in half

@bornwithoutconsentobviously

Pleasantly surprised by your critical analysis of this entry. I wasn’t expecting that, at all, for some reason… I like it, it’s in my top 10, compared to Ollies or Years & Years other songs, it’s a downgrade and I expected something much more. But yeah, it’s okay, it’s nice. I don’t see it winning or ending up top 5 though. But definitely not a zero points song. Juries will like it, televote too, but does it really stand out? No not really. I disagree with Mae Mullers song being that much better though.

@esclad

Not been around for a couple of years. Goy has lost loads of weight! Compared to one of your videos from 2 years ago

@OlivierSteinier

United Kingdom can be lucky not to have to make it past the semi-finals The song is correct but has nothing transcendent, it is very repetitive, it is a fairly classic pop song The BBC needs to start understanding that you have to take more risks if you want to win Eurovision Good luck anyway
