the University of Iowa was a popular place to see the eclipse Iowa City reaching 89% totality Joe McCoy spent the day there among onlookers taking in the phenomenon hundreds gathered on the University of Iowa pentacrest to stare up at the sky and Marvel at today's eclipse for many this was the first time they got to experience the rare occurrence 89% totality occurring at 203 amazement from onlookers as the Sky grew dark this is really really cool this is something I've never seen before even th
ough the sun is approximately 400 times larger than the moon it sits roughly 400 times farther away sinking up the two perfectly it's just one of those events that really puts the whole world in perspective it you think you're the center of attention a lot of times but then you look up and you're like okay I'm a much smaller part of just such a much bigger Universe it's just crazy to think about what life is like outside of Earth of course you know there's so much more to discover and here's a f
