we first think of an S-400, but there is another system which is more deadly than S-400, it is
S-350 Vityaz medium range missile defense system. S-350 is quite modern as compared to S-400. It
is commissioned in 2019, and the system design traces its roots to the joint South Korean-Russian
KM-SAM project. The missile launched by the S-350 system is the 9M96 guided missile family which
was originally designed for the S-400 system. This missile can
be used against aerial and
ballistic targets with a firing range from 1.5 to 120 km and an altitude of 10 to 30,000 m.
The system package consists of 50K6E command and control posts, 50N6E Multifunctional radar, and
50P6 launcher vehicles which carry 12 missiles.
