Not standing up for anyone, but Drag Racing takes two cars. Not one car making a left turn, and another running into it.
In my short career in FIRE and EMS, I saw two accidents like this. Both single vehicles striking a solid object. Neither turned out as well as this one.

I hope he recovers and get well son. and I'm glad they caught the mustang driver, just because you have a powerful car, doesn't mean you have to speed it all the time. To the the lady that said: they are using public roads as a racetrack: I saw one news a few days, that said: racetracks are closing due the noise, the neighbor's are complaining. They builds house near the racetrack and complain about it.

The mustang had to be going well over 90MPH in order to cause such damage to the small SUV.
You always have to be on alert when on the road. Watch out for people doing stupid things.
Example of why it's always better to wait. If you're not sure if you'll make it, wait! Especially when people are out racing around in muscle cars, don't take a chance. When you're turning left, it will 100% be your fault so be careful! And drive save ❤
