Painful day Jimmy 😢. “About ready to get some gas and a match and this car will be done” 😂😂😂😂

@bj383ss

"If you don't subscribe a bill comes in the mail" OMG Jimmy, I almost spit out my coffee!

@GWN_Garage

Fun fact that's not fun or a fact.....That first coolant hose you removed from the F150, that plastic "Y" always leaks at some point. Ford doesn't make them either, but we use the "HELP!" brand aluminum coolant "Y" repair kit for 08-10 Grand Caravans to fix them 😅 Incase anyone out there has that exact issue in the future. 2.7 and 3.5 EcoBlows. I was surprised it wasn't the culprit. Somebody missed something putting it back together at some point to mess that other hose up... Cheers Jimmy

@bryanalbright3019

Funny, I keep all sizes of sprinkler and plumbing tees and unions. When I get a Ford truck or any hose plastic broken, I charge parts department $20. 😂

@SpankysHotRodsandCustoms

Another great day morning coffee with Jimmy 👍

@skidmark6639

Another great video Jimmy, we need a new project truck video. They make my Sunday and motivate me to get busy on mine. Thanks

@dangleebols

Thats crazy, a hose not available for a Ford a few years old !!!!!!!!!!!

@montaybillups1365

You’re right about the major engine replacements, im at a dealership i can bank on them all the time because its the same thing over and over. In your situation everything is different makes and models so you have to figure out as you go thats where you loose at.

@lloydweems6237

Those Ford hoses are amazing, first they have so much plastic and then they are unavailable, and the aftermarket doesn’t mess with them.

@georgerocks5191

done 100's oil changes- never changed the washer or gasket- zero leaks

@462ANIMAL

Big jobs like that usually look terrible. I try and put stuff in groups.. like stages as I’m taking it off. What’s even more fun.. is having 3 of those jobs going on.. and using one hoist.. while the vehicle gets moved for collision repairs. Lol

@ryzen397

so funny about that law and the hot air intake system

@warrantyvoid100

Thanks for the video Jimmy! I think there's a good argument for dropping the subframe on those friggin' VW-Audi contraptions. There's probably a better argument for not working on one in the first place, I sure wouldn't want to. In other news my daughter's new wagon is coming along well, a new diff support is installed and I'm making progress on the rough idle. I now know it's got spark and all the injectors are operating and the cylinders all match at 150 psi. I'm thinking I'll check the MAF or for an intake leak next, the short term fuel is +24% and it keeps jumping out of closed loop. While testing the injectors I got it to run on 1 cylinder, that was a surprise to me that it wouldn't just stall.

@sirsparksalot

I could only imagine the anchor drop if you rebuilt engines and transmissions. It’s difficult to switch between the maintenance/typical repairs to engine swaps and still efficient. If thats all you specialized in doing it would probably work.

@jamesu

Good morning Brother. Have a great day!

@mlieser1230

I too have thought about these late model vehicles when they get to be 25 years old. I don't think they will be capable of being restored like vehicles from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. Too many computers and wiring harnesses to deal with.

@kathysexton4554

I think I will just make sure I have all the parts to repair the cars I currently own and forget ever getting anything newer!

@alexk7286

jimmy, that vw seems like a nightmare( Kruger ) would feel home in 😂. the ford 3.5 is a octopus 🐙 with all the hoses! my wife and i tow with 23 Ford f150 5.0 has 10 thousands miles now after the trip to the panhandle. has great room in the bay to work. i will be doing its 3rd oil change now. It's been trouble-free like my Mustangs 5.0 so far! thanks for the content ⚙️🪛🔩🔧👍

@redcarbon4395

Torqued at 96 YouTube foot-pounds. Can't afford to pay a shop to to replace lug nuts?!?! WTF!! The insanity of people. For someone who has lived near the low income status for a long time, I never skimped on brakes, oil, coolant, tires, in about that same order. Used to air 2 tires every single day because they leaked, and carried around a portable air pump for emergency. One morning came out of the factory I started working at, and my boss found that I was airing up one of my tires because it was super low. He asked me about it the next day. Told him that I had been airing up the front tires for months. Next day he comes in with a paid receipt from a tire company for 2 new tires. But I did not go to a shop and ask what was wrong with my tires, then drive home after they checked, declining service.

@tom535

Well Jimmy I refuse to tie up a mechanic with a oil change I change oil in both of my vehicles,,I understand..
