star and Neftlix is certified. Suitable for both day and night
thanks to 600 ANSI Lumens. Comes with useful auto focus, keystone
correction, obstacle avoidance and screen fit. Don’t forget the handy Chromecast

with sturdy plastic housing. Middle in size and lightweight. Stylish in design as well. T
he coated main lens, IR receiver
and camera are located in the front. PixelPro 5.0 Fully Enclosed Optical
Engine that is free from dust. The air inlet is located on the right. The air outlet is on the left. Both 8W HiFi stereo speakers with 460CC
large sound chamber are there too. The rest of the stuff is located at the back. There are power button, LED indicator, IR
receiver, 2 USB, HDMI and headphone jack. 4 anti-skid pads and hidden
bracket can be found at the bottom. Here is the ceiling
mount hole
after removing the rubber pad. Lastly, this is the bracket that
lets you adjust viewing height. As for accessories, this is an
IR + Bluetooth remote control. Loaded with voice, focus buttons
and a lot of useful shortcuts. IR to control projector
and Bluetooth for TV Stick. Pick the correct power cord for your country. UK plug for me. Lastly, here is the detailed user manual. Take your time to go through it. DaVinci 1 Pro can be used during the day. I am projecting at 80” screen
size with
all lights turned on in my room right now. Based on my calculation, it has
300 ANSI Lumens out of the box. And slightly lower brightness after calibration. Here is 130” screen size in a totally dark room. Everything looks better in this way. FYI, it has 1.2 throw ratio. So you can enjoy large
screen even in a small room. As usual, keep the screen as small
as possible for the best experience. Else anti-light screen is preferred. Perfect white level with
RGB colour temp adjustment.
Based on the colour gamut data,
it is using 45% NTSC LCD panel. And has excellent contrast ratio of 1500:1. Lastly, it has great brightness uniformity at 66%. DaVinci 1 Pro is one of the best optical
image native 1080p LCD projectors. All thanks to high quality 3 glass
lenses and 1 aspherical lens design. It is using LED as the light source. Power efficient and consumes 70 watts only. You can start to use it out of the box. But be sure to reduce the sharpness. It is way over by default. For e
ven better image quality and
colours, slight calibration is needed. The same applies to colour temp. Text performance is outstanding. As you can see, I can use it to surf the Internet. The texts are very clear. Suitable for classroom and office usage. For extreme tests, DaVinci 1
Pro passed with flying colours. Outstanding pixel quality and
the corners are well in focus. One of the best 1LCD projectors. DaVinci 1 Pro has different
media player for USB ports. It is not powered by Google TV. S
till support some 4K videos though. The subtitle is working but
surround sound codec is not. Do take note. As for photo viewing, it is working as expected. The 16W speakers are outstanding. Crisp, clear and powerful deep bass. Well-tuned on music mode. And suitable for large room. The fan noise level is excellent. You won’t hear fan noise
while music is being played. For HDMI port, 1080p input and
SDR decoding are supported. And many refresh rates to choose from. As for video playback perform
ance, it is great. Both 24Hz and 50Hz are great. 60Hz is the best with perfectly smooth playback. One thing to take note – PC and
Game mode have stuttering issue. Wanbo DaVinci 1 Pro is loaded
Skyworth Leap-S2 TV stick built-in. Powered by the official Google TV 11. 2GB RAM and 8GB storage are good
enough for daily entertainment needs. Plenty of apps and games can be
downloaded from Google Play Store. Let’s have a look at the projector settings. These are the useful Wanbo All-Scene

gorithm 3.0 features. Pick the colour temperature that you prefer. Yes, RGB adjustment is supported. The same applies to picture mode. Here are my calibrated values for this review. A lot of selection in sound mode. Music is the best for me. Game mode is supported. HDMI CEC is there for you too. Plenty of languages to select from. English for me as usual. navigate th
anks to Android TV version. Other streaming apps like Disney Plus
and Prime Video are working smoothly too. And you are getting the best
resolution available at 1080P. Here is the DRM info for those who are interested. Yes, it supports Google DRM L1 and HDCP 2.3. For YouTube, it can play 4K@60 video smoothly. And it is using the latest AV1 codec. For Kodi media player, it can play
and decode 4K HDR video content. Voice command through Google
Assistant is working properly. So you can access a
ll your home devices easily. For Android devices, Chromecast
wireless mirroring is working smoothly. The response is excellent for WiFi connection. You can share photos and cast videos from
your smartphone to the projector effortlessly. How about gaming through HDMI port? It is decent. DaVinci 1 Pro has 64ms response time in game mode. It is still okay for casual games. As usual, pinball is used to
test projector gaming ability. Working okay on Nintendo Switch game console. In short, DaVinci
1 Pro is the best
